The low public awareness in dealing with sensitive dental problems by using sensitive dentifrice-specific toothpaste products such as the Sensodyne brand makes low purchasing intentions for these products. Purchase intention on a product can be improved by taking into consideration factors that can drive the purchase intention. The purpose of this study is to explain the role of brand awareness in mediating the effect of advertising on purchase intentions. The location of the study was held in Denpasar City involving 150 respondents with the method used is purposive sampling. This method was chosen because it is not known exactly the number of population. Data collection was done through questionnaires. Path analysis technique and sobel test were selected in analyzing data. The results of the study found that advertising has a positive and significant impact on brand awareness. Advertising has a positive and significant impact on purchase intention. Brand awareness has a positive and significant impact on purchase intention. Brand awareness mediates the effect of advertising on purchase intention. Sensodyne parties are expected to maintain and even improve the quality of advertising, so it can cause purchase intention to consumers through high brand awareness level

Binding and hydrolysis of ATP is universally re-quired by AAA+ proteins to underpin their mechano-chemical work. Here we explore the roles of the AT-Pase site in an AAA+ transcriptional activator pro-tein, the phage shock protein F (PspF), by specifi-cally altering the Walker B motif sequence required in catalyzing ATP hydrolysis. One such mutant, the E108Q variant, is defective in ATP hydrolysis but fully remodels target transcription complexes, the RNAP-54 holoenzyme, in an ATP dependent manner. Struc-tural analysis of the E108Q variant reveals that unlike wild-type protein, which has distinct conformations for E108 residue in the ATP and ADP bound forms, E108Q adapts the same conformation irrespective of nucleotide bound. Our data show that the remodel-ing activities of E108Q are strongly favored on pre-melted DNA and engagement with RNAP-54 using ATP binding can be sufficient to convert the inactive holoenzyme to an active form, while hydrolysis per se is required for nucleic acid remodeling that leads to transcription bubble formation. Furthermore, us-ing linked dimer constructs, we show that RNAP-54 engagement by adjacent subunits within a hexamer are required for this protein remodeling activity while DNA remodeling activity can tolerate defective ATP hydrolysis of alternating subunits
Community Empowerment Through Sulfur Soap Preparation for Dermatitis Prevention
Background: As a country with a tropical climate, Indonesia has the risk to have many disease problems, such as skin disorder or dermatitis. Dermatitis is an either acute, sub-acute, or chronic inflammatory skin disease. One of therapies is using sulfur compound. Purpose: The objective of this program was to improve public awareness of Tulungagung Regency on the importance of health care, to train people preparing soap containing sulfur, and to help the people to empower the economic community through home industry initiation. Methods: This program was done by motivation generating, counseling, advocacy, and education. The activities were performed through counseling about skin diseases, causes, the prevention and treatment of the disease with sulfur soap, demonstration and providing training to the community about sulfur soap. Results: The training on handmade soap preparation was conducted at the Village Hall of Mojosari, Kauman, Tulungagung, on July 28-29th 2019 and was attended by 20 female participants. The socialization programme was carried out by providing technical guidance, visual exposure of materials, packaging training through small groups. Conclusion: This training program of soap containing sulfur preparation attracted public attention to gain the science, knowledge, and skill increase business motivation, knowledge, and community skills as well as motivation generation to apply a simple technology of soap containing sulfur manufacturing
Genome-wide diversity and gene expression profiling of Babesia microti isolates identify polymorphic genes that mediate host-pathogen interactions
Babesia microti, a tick-transmitted, intraerythrocytic protozoan parasite circulating mainly among small mammals, is the primary cause of human babesiosis. While most cases are transmitted by Ixodes ticks, the disease may also be transmitted through blood transfusion and perinatally. A comprehensive analysis of genome composition, genetic diversity, and gene expression profiling of seven B. microti isolates revealed that genetic variation in isolates from the Northeast United States is almost exclusively associated with genes encoding the surface proteome and secretome of the parasite. Furthermore, we found that polymorphism is restricted to a small number of genes, which are highly expressed during infection. In order to identify pathogen-encoded factors involved in host-parasite interactions, we screened a proteome array comprised of 174 B. microti proteins, including several predicted members of the parasite secretome. Using this immuno-proteomic approach we identified several novel antigens that trigger strong host immune responses during the onset of infection. The genomic and immunological data presented herein provide the first insights into the determinants of B. microti interaction with its mammalian hosts and their relevance for understanding the selective pressures acting on parasite evolution
