"Rinvio reciproco e separazione in ogni tempo". La questione ebraica come questione della filosofia.

Il nodo problematico attorno al quale si struttura il presente lavoro \ue8 quello indicato nell\u2019espressione \u2018questione ebraica\u2019. Nella pluralit\ue0 e ricchezza semantica che caratterizza questo binomio, si \ue8 deciso di proporne una lettura che ne privilegi l\u2019inaggirabile dimensione teologico-filosofica. La domanda di verit\ue0 che sostiene la ricerca, in quest\u2019ottica, pu\uf2 essere cos\uec riassunta: quale fisionomia assumono ebraismo e cristianesimo una volta ricondotti alla \u2018questione ebraica\u2019? ovvero: che cosa significa pensare radicalmente il rapporto tra queste due religioni dal punto di vista filosofico? L\u2019ipotesi di lavoro consiste nel pensare il nesso giudeo-cristiano sotto la figura dell\u2019aporia, ovvero nei termini di una contraddizione sempre in atto ed irrisolvibile. Tale aporia prenderebbe, cos\uec, corpo, nell\u2019insostituibilit\ue0 di Israele per l\u2019Ecclesia, e, al contempo, nella tensione e nella contestazione che l\u2019ebraismo mantiene in atto nei confronti del cristianesimo. Tra le due religioni si d\ue0, in altri termini, un rinvio reciproco che \ue8 anche separazione in ogni tempo. Se tra Sinagoga ed Ecclesia il nesso \ue8 quello aporetico di un rinvio che \ue8 anche separazione, almeno due implicazioni cruciali sembrano seguire questa aporeticit\ue0: 1. La \u2018questione ebraica\u2019 \ue8 in prima battuta una questione per il cristianesimo (prima ancora che per l\u2019ebraismo); 2. In tale questione ne va di una radicale sottrazione del cristianesimo stesso alla sua declinazione nel registro dell\u2019identit\ue0. Paradossalmente, una volta ricondotto al suo rapporto costitutivo con l\u2019ebraismo, \ue8 il cristianesimo stesso ad essere messo in questione e a mostrare come la \u2018questione ebraica\u2019, assunta sino in fondo, apra al pensiero di una \u2018questione cristiana\u2019. La \u2018questione ebraica\u2019 mette allora in luce il carattere a-simmetrico del rapporto tra ebraismo e cristianesimo. Le ricadute della \u2018questione ebraica\u2019 sono, nondimeno, cruciali dal punto di vista politico. Non solo, infatti, le nozioni d\u2019identit\ue0 e di appartenenza si trovano implicate nell\u2019articolazione del nesso giudeo-cristiano, ma gli stessi concetti di comunit\ue0, giustizia, ospitalit\ue0 e di \u2018altro\u2019 assumono, a partire da tale questione, un\u2019inedita fisionomia. Questa sembra lasciarsi ricondurre ad uno specifico atteggiamento teologico-politico cui il cristiano, non meno che l\u2019ebreo, \ue8 chiamato nei confronti del potere politico: una radicale contestazione del potere di questo mondo in questo mondo. Emerge, qui, una delle preoccupazioni del lavoro: mostrare nell\u2019articolazione teologico-filosofica del nesso giudeo-cristiano, le inaggirabili implicazioni politiche cui esso apre. Si tratta, in altri termini, di assumere per l\u2019indagine della \u2018questione ebraica\u2019 una prospettiva teologico-politica. Rispetto a tale prospettiva la questione stessa mantiene una sua propria specificit\ue0: essa sembra infatti implicare una declinazione della dimensione teologico-politica nella quale l\u2019ordine del teologico non rappresenta il fondamento legittimante (e autolegittimante) del politico, quanto piuttosto lo spazio della messa in questione di questo. Per restituire la \u2018questione ebraica\u2019 alla complessit\ue0 che l\u2019attraversa e la costituisce, si \ue8 deciso di strutturare il lavoro attraverso otto parole chiave, a ciascuna delle quali corrisponde l\u2019interrogazione di un autore. Le parole chiave sono: TESTAMENTO, ESCLUSIONE, NEMICO, PROFETA, CRISTIANESIMO, CIRCONCISONE, CONVERSIONE e POLITICA MESSIANICA.The theoretical task of the present work consists in the inquiry of the \u2018Jewish Question\u2019. This notion, extremely rich in meanings and nuances, can be referred to several issues: from the tragedy of Shoah up to the contemporary conflict between Palestinians and the State of Israel. Nevertheless this work tries to develop it in a specific way: \u2018Jewish Question\u2019 is here interpreted as implying the relationship between Judaism and Christianity, and in particular the connection existing between the two figures of the Synagogue and the Ekklesia (the Church). The question that sustains this work can be summarized in this way: how do Christianity and Judaism look like, once they are brought back to the \u2018Jewish Question\u2019? That is to say: what does it mean to radically think the Jewish Christian nexus from a philosophical point of view? The working hypothesis consists in reading this nexus starting from the notion of aporia: a constitutive and unsolvable contradiction is at work between the Synagogue and the Ekklesia. If it is true \u2013 in fact \u2013 that Judaism is the un-avoidable root of Christianity, it seems not less true that Judaism itself embodies a petition, which puts Christianity into question. In other words, Christianity finds in Judaism its own essential condition as well as its necessary \u2018enemy\u2019. The nexus between the Synagogue and the Ekklesia is then an aporetical one. At least two implications follow this aporia: 1. The \u2018Jewish Question\u2019 is, first of all, a question for Christianity, put into question once it is brought back to its constitutive relation with Judaism; 2. Christianity is detracted from every declination in the nomenclature of identity. In the aporetic space opened by the contradiction of the \u2018Jewish Question\u2019, Christianity finds its own constitutive incompleteness and impossibility to fully correspond to itself. This represents a crucial aspect of the \u2018Jewish Question\u2019: it is, paradoxically, a question of, as well as a question for, Christianity. The implications of the \u2018Jewish Question\u2019 are decisive from the political point of view too. The notions of identity and belonging are, in fact, directly implied in the nexus between the Synagogue and the Ekklesia. With those notions, the concepts of community, justice, the \u2018other\u2019 and hospitality are, as well, called into question and re-shaped. The work tries to analyze those political consequences of the Jewish-Christian nexus. The work, finally, is structured around eight key words, through which it tries to bring into light and underline crucial theoretical knots of the \u2018Jewish Question\u2019. The words are: TESTAMENTO, ESCLUSIONE, NEMICO, PROFETA, CRISTIANESIMO, CIRCONCISONE, CONVERSIONE and POLITICA MESSIANICA. Coperture e solai lignei nel castello di Binasco. Il ruolo della conoscenza storica nella progettazione degli interventi di consolidamento

LAUREA MAGISTRALEQuesta tesi propone un progetto del consolidamento delle strutture di copertura e dei solai lignei del Castello di Binasco e intende confermare che la conoscenza approfondita della storia dell’edificio contribuisce alla progettazione speditiva, quando occorre intervenire in situazione di rischio. Il Castello Visconteo di Binasco (Mi) è interessato da un progetto di valorizzazione, a seguito del quale si rendono necessari degli adeguamenti delle strutture portanti orizzontali e delle coperture. L’obiettivo è la progettazione di alcuni interventi di consolidamento puntuali che sono il risultato dell’analisi dello stato di conservazione e dei fenomeni di degrado. Inoltre, alcune pareti della copertura a falde, palesano fragilità inattese legate a situazioni finora impreviste, come il mutato carattere delle precipitazioni autunnali, che nel caso specifico hanno favorito il cedimento di un falso puntone della copertura nell’ala nobile e il crollo di alcuni controsoffitti nell’ala rustica. Il filo rosso del progetto è la storia del Castello, che in tutte le occasioni ha rappresentato il termine di giudizio ultimo nella scelta dell’intervento da realizzare. La conoscenza della storia del manufatto è, infatti, l’elemento preponderante quando ci si trova a scegliere tra una serie di interventi noti e ampiamente utilizzati.This thesis proposes a project for the consolidation of the roofing structures and the wooden floors of Binasco Castle and intends to confirm that a thorough knowledge of the history of the building contributes to the expeditious design, when it is necessary to intervene in a situation of risk. The Castello Visconteo di Binasco (Mi) is involved in a valorization project, as a result of which adaptations of the horizontal load-bearing structures and roofs are necessary. The objective is the design of some punctual consolidation interventions that are the result of the analysis of the state of conservation and degradation phenomena. In addition, some walls of the pitched roof reveal unexpected fragilities linked to situations so far unforeseen, such as the changed character of the autumn rainfall, which in this specific case favoured the collapse of a false strut of the roof in the noble wing and the collapse of some false ceilings in the rustic wing. The red thread of the project is the history of the Castle, which on all occasions represented the final judgement in the choice of the intervention to be carried out. Knowledge of the history of the building is, in fact, the predominant element when choosing between a series of known and widely used interventions

Zeitlin truncation of a Shallow Water Quasi-Geostrophic model for planetary flow

In this work, we consider a Shallow-Water Quasi Geostrophic equation on the sphere, as a model for global large-scale atmospheric dynamics. This equation, previously studied by Verkley (2009) and Schubert et al. (2009), possesses a rich geometric structure, called Lie-Poisson, and admits an infinite number of conserved quantities, called Casimirs. In this paper, we develop a Casimir preserving numerical method for long-time simulations of this equation. The method develops in two steps: firstly, we construct an N-dimensional Lie-Poisson system that converges to the continuous one in the limit $N \to \infty$; secondly, we integrate in time the finite-dimensional system using an isospectral time integrator, developed by Modin and Viviani (2020). We demonstrate the efficacy of this computational method by simulating a flow on the entire sphere for different values of the Lamb parameter. We particularly focus on rotation-induced effects, such as the formation of jets. In agreement with shallow water models of the atmosphere, we observe the formation of robust latitudinal jets and a decrease in the zonal wind amplitude with latitude. Furthermore, spectra of the kinetic energy are computed as a point of reference for future studies.Comment: Second version, 19 pages, 5 figures, accepted at JAME
