Development and validation of Malaysian communication style instrument
The Malaysian Malay Communication Style (MMCS) formulated by Che Su and Hassan (2010) was developed to measure specific Malay communication characteristics in the workplace. We extended this work by using
structural equation modelling to determine the factor structure of the 60-item version of the MMCS.Based on a sample of 320 employees, we found eight stable dimensions which measure communication style among Malay
employees in Malaysian contexts. Moreover, scores on the scale developed to measure the MMCS criteria yielded excellent validity and reliability estimates. This study provided and presented insights and further understanding of communication style from the indigenous perspective, which allows practitioners to gain in-depth knowledge about the implementation of organizational communication in an organization. The
implications of this research were discussed
Marital Dissolution due to Sexual Disability in Selangor Shariah Court: A Legal Juristic Study
This research focusing on the marital dissolution due to sexual disability among married couples in Selangor. The purpose of this study is to highlight the juristic opinion regarding fasakh due to sexual disability which known as uyub in fiqh perspectives in terms of rulings, types of defects and implication of fasakh provided by jurists concerning to sexual disabilities. This research also discussing on fasakh claims from the legal point of view that has been adopted in the Shariah Court in Selangor with reference to the Islamic Family Law (State of Selangor) Enactment 53 2003 section 2 which states on the permission given to the wife to file the fasakh due to sexual disability afflicted by their partner. Plus, the authors also discussed on the proceeding stated by Selangor Shariah Court in hearing the cases including for fasakh application resulting from sexual disability. The authors gain the information through inductive method and descriptive methods which is gathering an information regarding fasakh from books, journal, article and so on and the researcher will elaborate more about marital dissolution through fasakh within Islamic family law of Selangor Clearly, the finding of the research shown that asking for fasakh due to sexual disability is permissible in Islam and in Islamic Law perspective. There is also implication in term of nafaqah and iddah resulted from fasakh. Despite that, the issue of sexual disability facing by spouses in Selangor that leads to marriage dissolution needs to be addressed and need to find the solution to prevent the marital dissolution from continuing to happen because marriage is not built for fasakh or divorce but for the harmony and peace of husband and wife. Hence, effective communication between husband and wife is crucial for addressing any sexual problems they encounter, whether through medical intervention or counseling, thereby fostering domestic harmony.

Feasibility Study to Produce Sound Barrier Brick Using Crumb Rubber
The wastes from automobile tires are increasing day by day. Some of them are reused in
pavement material. Rubbers cannot be burned otherwise it will cause environmental
issues. The dumping areas are insufficient as the wastes are increasing, led to mosquito
breeding cases. In conjunction with that, a feasibility study was conducted to investigate
potential of using crumb rubber in sound barrier wall application.
The literature review has proved that rubberized-brick is not only has high porosity, it is
also act as a good sound insulator. The properties of rubber enhanced the noise reduction
as the noise is absorbed by the material. The combination of two sizes of crumb rubber
which are 3.35 mm and 0.60 mm managed to produce greatest slump compared to other
sizes. Fourthly percentage volumetric replacement of sand found to be optimum mixture.
Hence, by adopting 40 % replacement of sand with combination crumb rubber with 3.35
mm and 0.6 mm, it was revealed that the brick was not only lighter but also stronger;
5.36 MPa. A prototype barrier wall of Im width xlm length was build using crumb
rubber-added bricks. Similar, traffic noise level was generated, using a single source.
The noise reduction was recorded by determining the difference of noise level at front
and behind the wall and varied the location. It was proved that the noise reduction of the
new potential barrier wall is much better than the conventional barrier wall using normal
brick.
From the study, the redundant tires can be reused to a newly product-based which is
crumb rubber-added brick in sound barrier application. It is not only potential replace
the conventional barrier wall but also solved two environmental problems, redundant
waste tires and also traffic noise as well

Micro Business Segmentation Using Categorical Test Approach In Supporting Sales Network In East Java Indonesia
The main purpose of this research is to see or position the region in East Java, especially micro-enterprises by segmenting their products. There are five effective areas in East Java which are well-known centers of micro-enterprises, i.e Mojokerto, Pasuruan, Malang, Gresik and Lumajang with their local wisdom products. There are 160 micro business actors in the five regions of East Java. Where their products have the opportunity to be developed into mainstay products in the province of East Java. Based on the results of the Categorical test, an overview of the test results is obtained, i.e: for micro-enterprises in Malang and Gresik they have the same character (dimension 1, i.e: innovation, product attractiveness, product originality, raw materials and environmentally friendly) both management and products so that because they have similarities , the two regions deserve to develop a joint business in a sales network. As for dimension 2 (selling value, market value, quality and market opportunity) micro-enterprises in Pasuruan, Malang and Gresik can form a group together in the sales network in facing market opportunities and increasing sales. Whereas micro-enterprises in Lumajang city (are in a neutral segment (not dimension 1 and not dimension 2), micro-enterprises in Lumajang district may compete with four other cities in fighting for market opportunities, both locally and globally because in the Categorical test the position of micro-enterprises Lumajang is categorized as having a special character and is different from the other four cities, i.e Malang, Gresik, Mojokerto and Pasuruan, so that only micro-enterprises in Lumajang district may not participate in the sales network
Vertical Stratification of fruit-feeding butterflies (lepidoptera : nymphalidae) in a secondary forest, Kota Samarahan, Sarawak
The diversity and vertical stratification (ground: l m above ground; canopy: 20-22m above ground) of the fruit-feeding butterflies were studied in a secondary forest located in the vicinity of UNIMAS East Campus, Kota Samarahan by using 10 baited traps. A single-rope technique was applied in 60 days sampling period. A total of 279 individuals f~om 33 species and four subfamilies were documented. Species diversity index was higher at canopy level with Shannon diversity index H'= 2.536. The overall total species richness and abundance reflected a declining pattern of Morphinae and Satyrinae which was observed as increasing heights and vice versa. The dominance was be represented by the Satyrine, Mycalesis anapita/ilcentia which is 21.5% (60 individuals) of the total number of individuals sampled. M. anapita was to be found at ground level. Nymphanlinae was the most specious subfamily at the canopy level representing 42.42% (15 specie ) of the total number of species, while Satyrinae was the most abundant subfamily, representing 41.58%. Charaxinae was found to be the lowest in both abundance and species richness. The secondary forest resulted a high proportion of Nymphalinae to canopy level and various pattern distribution of butterflies also were be observed
Increasing The Export Performance of Indonesian MSMEs' Leading Products in The Global Market in Supporting The Economy in 2023
This research activity aims to assist home-based businesses in an effort to improve their product marketability in the global market by improving several important things, including: improving raw materials, building distribution channels, managing sales networks, building their own brands for their products, improving the shape and quality of packaging. with good labeling so that the product can be accepted and able to compete abroad in a wider market. Through this study, researchers conducted interviews, and used research instruments to measure 73 business owners. The goal is that it hampers the process of increasing the export of its products to foreign markets, it turns out that with the results of the interviews it can be seen that there are 12 main variables or factors that must be mastered and/or improved. So that home-based business products can have better performance as desired by overseas buyers or consumers. The testing approach in data processing uses the Tau Kendall W Test combined with the Categorical Test, so that the estimation process can be carried out properly. Through the test approach model and interviews that have been conducted on 73 business actors, it can be seen that the 12 variables or factors stated in this research are the main keywords through improving input, process and product improvement outputs. Product changes can help change the buyer's perception that the products they buy are completely safe and comply with safety, health and material requirements, including parts of environmentally friendly materials
The Fraud Rules in the Letter of Credit under Jordanian Legal System
Letter of credit (L/C) has a massive role in expanding international trade operations. It is considered the most secure and stable banking service to finance foreign trade operations such as import and export. As an international contract, potential legal issues arise due to fraud practices. In this case, L/C users have to be aware of different approaches followed by domestic courts while dealing with fraud at the international level. This paper aims to identify the fraud means under the fraud rule governing L/C and its impact on Jordan's practice. By applying a qualitative and doctrinal legal approach, this paper analyses the lack of organization of the uniform customs and practice for the letter of credit (UCP No. 600). It also examines, via interviews with Jordanian judges, the perceptions of the Jordanian courts' policy regarding the fraud rule exception in L/C. The finding reveals that to protect the interests of all parties in a letter of credit transaction, Jordanian courts should extend the scope of fraud to cover sale contracts fraud in cases where bona fide holder is involved and when a confirming bank is absent, or when the credit amount has not been paid yet by the issuing bank. In respect of the bank practices, such special provisions implemented to commercial code must be issued due to the lack of legal provisions of the L/C in Jordan legislation

Search for new phenomena in final states with an energetic jet and large missing transverse momentum in pp collisions at √ s = 8 TeV with the ATLAS detector
Results of a search for new phenomena in final states with an energetic jet and large missing transverse momentum are reported. The search uses 20.3 fb−1 of √ s = 8 TeV data collected in 2012 with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. Events are required to have at least one jet with pT > 120 GeV and no leptons. Nine signal regions are considered with increasing missing transverse momentum requirements between Emiss T > 150 GeV and Emiss T > 700 GeV. Good agreement is observed between the number of events in data and Standard Model expectations. The results are translated into exclusion limits on models with either large extra spatial dimensions, pair production of weakly interacting dark matter candidates, or production of very light gravitinos in a gauge-mediated supersymmetric model. In addition, limits on the production of an invisibly decaying Higgs-like boson leading to similar topologies in the final state are presente
