No pude ir y mi intención con estas líneas no es hacer una crónica, sino dejar constancia de que se sigue trabajando en este asunto e informar del estado de la cuestión en lo esencial, con el objetivo explícito ya de conseguir colaboración entre los bibliotecarios del CSIC.N

Научный миф как основа современного научно-популярного текста

Статья посвящена описанию научного мифа и особенностей его языкового представления в научно-популярных текстах. Основное внимание уделяется значению научного знания в жизни современного человека, особенностям формирования и бытования этого научного знания в общественном сознании. Основной проблемой при восприятии научного знания обычным человеком названа проблема сложности, специализированности научного языка. Научно-популярный подстиль рассматривается как основной способ популяризации научного знания и создания научного мифа. Особенностью современного научного знания является процесс его мифологизации, который осуществляется в языке. Научный миф рассматривается как форма популяризации научного знания, особый способ бытования общественного сознания в научной сфере. Описываются причины мифологизации научного знания, содержание экологического мифа, способы языкового представления мифа. Способы мифологизации научного знания в научно-популярных текстах описаны как основные риторические приемы. Научно-популярный подстиль собственно научного стиля описан как основная сфера, в которой осуществляется процесс мифологизации научного знания

Posibles consecuencias del cambio climático global en bosques de Lago Puelo

p.79-87Se caracteriza topoclimáticamente los habitats del bosque mixto de coihue (Nothofagus dom beyi) y ciprés (Austrocedrus chilensis), del mixto con especies valdivianas y del de lenga (Nothofagus pumilio) en el Parque Nacional y Reserva Estricta Lago Puelo. Se analiza la posible consecuencia del cambio climático en la distribución y composición de dichos bosques. De mantenerse las tendencias que en la actualidad se observan para la temperatura y la precipitación, el clima en el año 2030 sería más húmedo, más frío en el invierno y más caluroso en el verano. La vegetación debería sufrir cambios para alcanzar un nuevo equilibrio, el cual tentativamente favorecería a la lenga y a especies higrófilas como Pilgerodendron uviferum, Fitzroya cupressoides, Lama apiculata y Myrceugenia exsucca

Targeted gene expression profiling in European sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax, L.) follicles from primary growth to late vitellogenesis

Expression levels of 18 transcripts with demonstrated relevance during oogenesis, encoding gonadotropin, thyrotropin, estrogen, androgen, and vitellogenin receptors, steroidogenesis-related as well as growth and transcription factors were measured. Primary oocytes showed high mRNA levels of insulin-like growth factors 1 and 2, bone morphogenetic protein 4, estrogen receptor 2b, androgen receptor b, and SRY-box containing gene 17 together with low transcript amounts of gonadotropin receptors. Follicles at the lipid vesicles stage (i.e., the beginning of the secondary growth phase) showed elevated mRNA amounts of follicle stimulating hormone receptor (fshr) and anti-Mullerian hormone. Early-to-mid vitellogenic follicles showed high mRNA levels of fshr and cytochrome P450, family 19, subfamily A, polypeptide 1a while mid-to-late vitellogenic follicles expressed increasing transcript amounts of luteinizing hormone/choriogonadotropin receptor, steroidogenic acute regulatory protein, and estrogen receptors 1 and 2a. Preliminary results in anterior cervical discectomy and fusion with an experimental bioabsorbable cage - clinical and radiological findings in an ovine animal model

Background: Bioabsorbable implants are not widely used in spine surgery. This study investigated the clinical and radiological findings after anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) in an ovine animal model with an experimental bioabsorbable cage consisting of magnesium and polymer (poly-ε-caprolactone, PCL) in comparison to a tricortical bone graft as the gold standard procedure. Materials and Methods: 24 full-grown sheep had ACDF of C3/4 and C5/6 with an experimental bioabsorbable implant (magnesium and PCL) in one level and an autologous tricortical bone graft in the second level. The sheep were divided into 4 groups (6 sheep each). After 3, 6, 12, or 24 weeks postoperatively, the cervical spines were harvested and conventional x-rays of each operated segment were conducted. The progress of interbody fusion was classified according to a three-point scoring system. Results: There were no operation related complications except for one intraoperative fracture of the anterior superior iliac spine and two cases of screw loosening and sinking, respectively. In particular, no vascular, neurologic, wound healing or infectious problems were observed. According to the time of follow-up, both interbody fusion devices showed similar behaviour with increasing intervertebral osseointegration and complete arthrodesis in 10 of 12 (83.3%) motion segments after 24 weeks. Conclusions: The bioabsorbable magnesium-PCL cage used in this experimental animal study showed clinically no signs of incompatibility such as infectious or wound healing problems. Im zweistufigen Streckblasprozess werden etwa 70 % der Produktionskosten von Kunststoffflaschen für das zu verarbeitende Material aufgewendet. Daher sind die Unternehmen der Streckblasbranche bestrebt, die Gesamtkosten zur Flaschenherstellung über einen reduzierten Materialeinsatz zu senken. Der Schlüsselfaktor liegt in der Auslegung des Preforms und der Bestimmung der dazugehörigen Verarbeitungseinstellungen. Die Preformund Prozessauslegung wird in der Industrie zunehmend durch Simulationswerkzeuge unterstützt, sodass Entwicklungszeiten und -kosten reduziert werden können. Für die effiziente Auslegung der Preforms bis in den Grenzbereich der Materialien sind Kenntnisse des Materialverhaltens bis zum Materialversagen notwendig. Das Ziel dieses Forschungsvorhabens war daher die Kalibrierung und Implementierung eines Versagenskriteriums in die integrative Simulation des zweistufigen Streckblasprozesses zur Vorhersage eines möglichen Materialversagens bei der Verarbeitung leichter Preforms. Die Basis für die Vorhersage möglichen Materialversagens bildet ein Materialmodell, welches bis zum Bereich des Versagens kalibriert wurde. Dazu wurde ein Membran-Inflations-Rheometer modifiziert, sodass dehnrheologischen Materialdaten von Polyethylenterephthalat-Folien (PET) unter biaxialer Dehnung mit variierenden Verstreckgeschwindigkeiten in einem weiten Temperaturbereich bis zum Materialversagen ermittelt werden können. Mit diesen Messdaten wurde ein temperatur- und dehnratenabhängiges Yeoh-Modell zur Beschreibung des Materialverhaltens für die Umformsimulation kalibriert. Das Versagensmodell ist temperaturund dehnratenabhängig und beschreibt die Dehnung und Spannung im Versagenszustand. Als Materialversagen wurde der sogenannte Weißbruch definiert, d. h. die bei hoch verstreckten teilkristallinen Kunststoffen auftretende Weißfärbung. Weiterhin wurde auch das Materialversagen beschrieben, bei dem ein Bruch des Materials auftritt. Das Versagensmodell wurde mit den mittels Membran-Inflations-Rheometer ermittelten Materialdaten kalibriert. Die Validierung erfolgt qualitativ im Streckblasprozess. Im kalibrierten Bereich des Materialmodells kann die Prozesssimulation den Streckblasprozess sehr gut abbilden und sowohl Weißbruch als auch Materialbruch vorhersagen. Damit bietet die Simulation ein wichtiges Werkzeug für die Auslegung leichter Preforms bei extremen Verstreckgraden knapp unterhalb der Versagensgrenze. Das Ergebnis des Forschnungsvorhabens sind ein Maximaldehnungs- und Maximalspannungsversagenskriterium für PET im Streckblasprozess und deren Bewertung. Neben diesem direkten Ergebnis wurde ein Erkenntnisgewinn im Bereich der hohen Verstreckung von PET angestrebt, der dazu genutzt werden kann, bei sehr leichten Preforms weiter Material einzusparen.
