RESHAPING THE WORLD FINANCIAL SYSTEM – AN IMPERATIVE OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
This paper presents the general and specific causes which led to the actual financial and economic crisis, the principal consequences of this crisis like some other theoretical considerations regarding the cyclical normal evolution of the economies and the major disequilibrium instauration between the market’s components which generates crisis. A critical analysis of the actual financial and monetary system emphasizes its pro-cyclic character. On the following pages, the weaknesses and vulnerabilities of the present system are put into light, starting with: lack of an international reserve currency to ensure stability and development, use of complex and opaque financial instruments, making decisions taking into account the rating agencies statistics which have serious problems especially in operating actions, unsecured procedures for the financial assets’ evaluation, existence of the so called “fiscal havens”, inefficiency of “the market’s invisible hand and aspects related to the current issues and sustainable development. Furthermore, the paper underlines the context of change and reform initiatives, governments’ concerns for re-building the financial and monetary actual system and, finally, action lines and intervention to change completely the system and introduce a new international reserve currency. The need of change, key word for the prevention of future crises and necessity in the context of sustainable development represents the basic conclusion of this work.financial and monetary system; international reserve currency; pro-cyclic phenomenon; sustainable development; the single currency
Coaching: Una revisión teórica desde la Psicología
Treball final de Grau en Psicología. Codi: PS1048. Coaching is one of the existing methodologies to reach the development of people in the different fields of their daily life. Over recent decades it has achieved a great height as a tool for improving work performance and personal growth within the business sector. That which motivated to analyze the coaching from a psychological perspective in order to understand the concept of coaching psychology, the procedure and the mechanisms behind the topic, as well as a proposal keys points to a good coaching practice. In this end-of-degree project a theoretical review of this technique was carried out in the database PsychINFO delving into a particular type of coaching: organizational coaching. Thus, first, is presented the concept and definition of coaching psychology and the most used tools for the practice of coaching: Myers Briggs Indicator (MBTI), the Inventory of Strengths and Virtues (VIA) and the Wheel of Life. The coaching process is also described in the different steps and some of the various theoretical models in which the process is based: GROW+SMART, Co-active Coaching and Flow Theory. In addition, are exposed the inferred consequences of the practice, problems that may arise in interventions with clients and a decalogue of good coach. The results show that the methodology of coaching uses and transfers elements from other disciplines and a further development, both empirical and practical grounds, is necessary. Additionally, it is presented studies that show the effectiveness of coaching and its contribution to the development of people. Finally, in the discussion section and conclusions are discussed the most important aspects of work and some suggestions for future research
Ultra High Strength and Performance Concrete development is a relatively new industry. The last 150 years have shown that despite of a constant increasing resistance for the concrete, the practical applications were often behind to these innovations in materials science. This appears to be due to increased costs as the resistance increases per unit volume and a caution restraint to use new materials in practical applications. This paper is intended to be as an encouragement to present a practical structural applications of Ultra High Performance Concrete (BUIP) or reactive powder concrete (BPR), first developed in Romania, by using locally available materials, including waste reusing and thereby making an ecological green concrete. This concrete has a viscous consistency but a slump flow similar to the self compacting concrete (SCC), and compressive strength values exceed 150 MPa (150 ÷ 200 MPa)

Single-visit treatment of acute pulpitis
Universitatea de Stat de Medicină şi Farmacie „Nicolae Testemiţanu”, Chişinău, Republica MoldovaIntroduction. Pulpitis represents the reactions and processes that occur in the dental pulp under the action of pathogens that act intensely on the tooth or that come into direct contact with the dental pulp. Following the long-term action of these pathogens, biochemical, functional and structural changes occur in the dental pulp, which are similar to connective tissue inflammation. The method of single-visit treatment of pulpitis is the most common and frequently used method of complete removal of the pulp, both coronal and radicular, after the pulp has been anesthetized with an anesthetic. Aim of study. To determine the optimal and effective treatment plan for patients with clinical signs of pulpitis. Methods and materials. A group of 10 patients, aged between 20 and 50 years, with pulpitis symptoms were selected and clinical and paraclinical examined. The treatment of pulpitis was carried out by surgical extirpation of the dental pulp, both coronal and radicular, after applying anesthetics, which helped to carry out the complex treatment in a single visit, thus shortening the treatment time, preventing root canal infection, and ensuring favorable biological conditions for the healing of the remaining pulp abutment within the apical foramen after removing the pulp. Results. The study ascertained the benefits of the anesthetics used in the treatment of pulpal diseases. Conclusion. The clinical study demonstrated a positive, favorable, efficient, and qualitative impact using the method of pulpitis treatment in a single visit under anesthesia. the action of pathogens that act intensely on the tooth or that come into direct contact with the dental pulp. Neuroeconomics-interdisciplinary science of investigation of the human brain function and of the decisional behaviour of the humankind
