    Kebutuhan Approach Light System pada Kedua Ambang Landasan Bandara Sultan Hasanuddin-Makassar untuk Meningkatkan Kapasitas Pergerakan Pesawat Udara

    In developing Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar, one of the efforts is by installing Approach Light System, a navigation tool installed at both runway edges used to improve flight security and safety. By installing Approach Light System at both runway edges, it can guarantee safety flight in order to develop air traffic system in the movement area that is safe, fast and smooth.The objective of Approach Light System is to provide clear guides to pilots when performing landing on the runways. The tool is also useful for making accurate landing of the aircraft.By using descriptive qualitative technical approach method in the analysis of this study, it can be concluded that by completely installing the Approach Light System at both runway edges in Sultan Hasanuddin Airport, it has met the regulation number SKEP/114/VI/2002 on the Airport Installation System Standard Blueprint (Airfield Lighting System) issued by the General Directorate of Air Transport so that safe and secure flight can be conducted optimally and aircraft movement can be increased as well.Approach Light System merupakan peralatan navigasi pada kedua ambang landasan untuk meningkatkan keamanan dan keselamatan penerbangan. Tujuan dan manfaat dari Approach Light system adalah untuk memberikan tuntutan kepada pilot/penerbang saat melakukan pendaratan menuju landasan dan manfaatnya untuk ketepatan pendaratan pesawat udara.Melalui metode pendekatan teknis deskriptif kualitatif dalam melakukan analisis pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan terpenuhinya kebutuhan Approach Light system pada kedua ambang landasan bandara Sultan Hasanudin Makassar, maka sudah sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku yaitu SKEP/114/VI/2002 yang diterbitkan oleh Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Udara tentang Standar Gambar Instalasi Sistem Bandar Udara (Airfield Lighting System) sehingga dapat terselenggara keamanan dan keselamatan penerbangan secara optimal dan dapat meningkatkan pergerakan pesawat udara

    Jati (Tectona grandis) merupakan tanaman hutan yang mempunyai nilai komersial tinggi, sehingga jati dibudidayakan di banyak tempat di Indonesia. Beberapa contoh daun jati yang dikumpulkan dari berbagai lokasi di Pulau Jawa dan Sumatera menunjukkan gejala terserang cendawan karat. Kegiatan ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi cendawan karat dan memetakan penyebarannya. Identifikasi dilakukan dengan mengamati struktur morfologi cendawan, menentukan stadianya dan mengukur karakteristik morfologinya, antara lain: uredinia, urediniospora, dan paraphysis di bawah mikroskop cahaya. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan Olivea tectonae sebagai cendawan karat penyebabnya bercak daun jati. Stadia yang didapat adalah uredinia, sedang stadia lainnya tidak ditemukan. O. tectonae ditemukan dari semua contoh daun yang diamati yang dikumpulkan dari empat provinsi, yaitu: Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, Jawa Timur dan Lampung

    Attempts to create airport security, especially at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport which is a gate of the Republic of Indonesia is one of the desires of all users of airport services. In an effort to realize and improve airport security must be supported by competent airport security personnel. From the results of field surveys, the number of security personnel Soekarno-Hatta International Airport are: Which already has Personnel Skills Certificates (SKP): Basic Aviation Security 214 persons, Junior Aviation Security 493 persons, Senior Aviation Security 182 persons, and Who haven't yet Personnel Skills Certificates totaling 562 person are out sourcing. According the interviews results with Head of Security Division existing condition of security personnel at terminals 1 and 2 have been sufficient, while the existing condition of the security personnel at terminal 3 amounted to 124 people who had assessments. From the analysis and discussion in order to meet the needs of security personnel is programmed and to improve the assessments needed 248 persons, lack of security personnel at the desired terminal 3:124 persons. To increase the airport tax assessment organizers can do the addition by way of both internal and external. Internal assessment is done through a test that is taken from the power out sourcing to test, while the external through the recruitment test to provide the opportunity for applicants from outside environment.     Quality of Sleep of School Age Children are Undergoing Chemotheraphy in Cancer Hospital Chemotherapy is believed to be effective in inhibiting cancer cell's growth. However, this therapy has side effects for cancer patients, one of them is sleeping needs disturbance. This study aims to get information about the status of sleep quality in school-age children whom are undergoing chemotherapy at cancer hospital, Jakarta. This study used cross sectional design with 40 participants using total sampling technique. Participants filled the questionnaire consisting of demographic data and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). This study was analyzed using univariate test. The result showed that participants have quality sleep index with average score 7 from total 21 (95% CI, 6.24–7.76). It's indicated that participants have poor sleep quality. Health providers (especially nurses) are expected to conduct monitoring to evaluate sleep quality in children with cancer

    The education sector is one of the fields that gets the most attention from the government, especially when graduating from high school students. It is expected that these graduates will continue to pursue higher education. Various information about majors in universities have been widely available but have not been able to meet the needs of prospective students. There are three main problems experienced by prospective students, namely limited knowledge of the majors to be followed, limited information available, and limited quantitative recommendations that can be used by prospective students.This study tries to overcome these problems by producing predictions of departmental recommendations using the Naive Bayes algorithm and incorporating criteria that influence the selection of majors in the form of abilities, interests, and also preferences for certain fields. An approach to user preferences is used so that the recommendations approach the desired results. This is done by giving the criteria weighting to the user

    Phytoestrogen is the chemical compound contains in plant which has estrogenic like effect. Estrogen has important function on woman's sexual organ, such as proliferation of uterine and vaginal cornification. Phytoestrogen are weak agonists for estrogen and illicit statistic significantly increases in uterine wet weight, at definite dose, in uterothrophic bioassay. Biji Klabet or Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum L.) contains steroidal sapogenins such as diosgenin, tigogenin, gitogenin, yamogenin and trigoneoside, that suspected having an estrogen-likeeffect or as phytoestrogen. The aim of this research was to investigate the estrogenic effect of fenugreek's ethanolic extract in immature rat models. These models represent the climacteric/menopause phase, where estrogen level is verylow because ovary produces no estrogen. The testing animals were divided into five groups, namely normal group, estradiol control group and three level doses of fenugreek extract (30mg/200gBW; 60mg/200gBW and 120mg/200gBW). Theresult indicated that on 120mg/200gBW, fenugreek extract significantly (=0.05) increasing wet weight uterine and proliferation of uterine, such as uterine thickness and uterine diameters. Fenugreek extract, start on 60mg/200gBW, also induces vaginal lubrication and estrus cycle

    Acute lymphocytic leukemia is a type of leukemia that is most prevalent among children which is around 75-80%. The progress of chemotherapy for acute lymphocytic leukemia has increased the survival rate for this cancer. However, the length of life of the patients is often not accompanied by the better quality of life due to chemotherapy side effects towards patients\u27 physical and psychosocial conditions. This study aimed to identify factors that are related to the quality of life of children with acute lymphocytic leukemia who undergo chemotherapy in Dr. M.Djamil Hospital, Padang. Quantitative research with cross sectional approach was used to study 25 children who wererecruited using consecutive sampling. The data collection was conducted using PedsQLTM 4.0 Generic Core Scaleand nurses roles (Cronbach α = 0,90). The data analysis uses Pearson correlation and independent t-test to examinethe relationships between variable and multiple linear regression to identify the factor that is most related with the generic quality of life. The results showed that there was correlation between chemotherapy phases and nurses roles with generic quality of life (p<0.05). Nurses roles is a predictor factors for generic quality of life. Thus, there is a need to improve nurses\u27 roles through education and training regarding chemotherapy management and its side effects

    Pengaruh Frekuensi Pencucian Yang Berbeda Terhadap Kualitas Bakso Ikan Gabus (Ophiocephalus Striatus)

    Ikan Gabus merupakan ikan yang kaya protein albumin. Albumin ini sangat dibutuhkan oleh tubuh untuk perkembangan sel, pembentukan jaringan sel baru, sebagai transportasi obat-obatan dan lain sebagainya. Pengolahan terhadap ikan Gabus perlu dilakukan salah satu olahan yang dapat dilakukan adalah bakso ikan. Adanya pencucian pada pembuatan bakso ikan diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kualitas bakso ikan Gabus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh frekuensi pencucian terhadap kualitas bakso ikan Gabus dan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengurangan kadar albumin sebagai akibat proses pencucian pada pembuatan bakso ikan serta memperoleh frekuensi pencucian yang tepat dan efektif, sehingga menghasilkan bakso dengan kualitas paling baik.Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan frekuensi pencucian yang berbeda dengan 4 taraf (tanpa pencucian, satu kali, dua kali, dan tiga kali pencucian). Parameter yang diuji adalah kekuatan gel, kadar protein, air, abu, albumin dan organoleptik.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan frekuensi pencucian berpengaruh nyata (P&lt;0,05) terhadap parameter kekuatan gel, kadar protein, kadar air, kadar abu dan kadar albumin. Bakso ikan Gabus dengan frekuensi pencucian satu kali (L1) merupakan bakso ikan Gabus dengan perlakuan terbaik karena memenuhi standar SNI 7266-2014 tentang bakso ikan dengan kriteria mutu kadar protein 16,55% ± 0,28; kadar air 64,30% ± 0,18; kadar abu 1,74% ± 0,04 dengan nilai organoleptik sebesar 8,05. Bakso ikan Gabus dengan pencucian satu kali memiliki nilai kekuatan gel 2196,47 ± 6,01 g.cm dan kadar albumin 2,58 % ± 0,03. Adanya proses pencucian mengakibatkan pengurangan kadar albumin sebesar 12% (L1), 36% pada (L2) dan pada (L3) mengalami pengurangan sebesar 42%, hal tersebut jika dibandingkan dengan bakso ikan tanpa perlakuan pencucian (L0).Snakehead fish is rich in albumin protein. The albumin protein is important for cell development, formation of new cell tissue, transport of medicine in the blood and so forth. One of the method to process snakehead fish is by processing it into fishballs. The existence of leaching on making fishballs is expected to improve the quality of fishballs, in the contrary leaching will reduce the amont of albumin. Therefore, this study was aimed to determine the effect of leaching frequency on quality of fishballs Snakehead, to determine the extent of the reduction of albumin as a effect of the leaching process in the making of fishballs and the best and effective treatment of leaching which results in best quality of fishball. This study was designed using a completely randomized design (CRD) with different leaching frequency treatment in 4 levels (without washing, once, twice and three times leaching). The parameters observed include gel strength, protein content, moisture content, ash content, albumin content and organoleptic.The results showed that the frequency of washing gave significant effect (P &lt; 0.05) to gel strength parameters, albumin, moisture content, protein content and ash content. Snakehead fishballs with one leaching frequency (L1) is a best treatment which results in good quality of Snakehead fishballs and comply with Indonesia National Standard 7266-2014 standards of fishballs with quality criteria of protein content 16.55% ± 0.28; moisture content 64.30% ± 0.18; ash content 1.74% ± 0.04; and sensory 8.05. Snakehead fishballs with one time washing (L1) have gel strength value of 2196.47 ± 6.01 g.cm; albumin 2.58 % ± 0.03. The existence of the washing process has resulted in reduction of albumin by 12%, 36%, 42% for L1, L2, and L3 respectively compared to that of control (without washing)

    Efektifitas Pencucian Dan Suhu Setting (25, 40, 50oc) Pada Gel Kamaboko Ikan Lele Dumbo (Clarias Gariepenus)

    Surimi merupakan lumatan daging ikan yang telah mengalami proses pencucian (leaching) secara berulang-ulang, pengepresan, penambahan bahan tambahan (food additive), pengepakan dan pembekuan. Mutu surimi antara lain ditentukan oleh nilai gel strength. Faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi nilai gel strength adalah pencucian dan suhu setting ketika proses pemanasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh frekuensi pencucian terhadap sifat fisika (gel strength, uji lipat, uji gigit) dan pengaruh suhu setting terhadap sifat fisika (gel strength, uji lipat, uji gigit dan uji derajat putih), sifat kimia (kadar protein, air dan pH) kamaboko ikan Lele. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ikan Lele dumbo, garam, dan bahan pendukung lainnya. Metode penelitian bersifat eksperimen laboratoris menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dua tahap. Tahap pertama terdiri dari 4 perlakuan yaitu L1(pencucian 1x); L2(pencucian 2x); L3(pencucian 3x); L4(pencucian 4x). Penelitian tahap kedua terdiri dari 3 perlakuan yaitu : T1(suhu setting 25oC); T2(suhu setting 40oC); T3(suhu setting 50oC); dengan 3 ulangan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis keragaman kemudian diuji dengan uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ). Untuk data uji hedonik diuji dengan uji Kruskall Wallis dilanjutkan dengan uji Multiple Comparison. Hasil penelitian tahap I perlakuan frekuensi pencucian menunjukkan bahwa nilai gel strength, uji lipat, uji gigit tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata (P&gt;0,05) pada perlakuan L3 dan L4. Hasil penelitian tahap II perlakuan suhu setting menunjukkan bahwa nilai gel strength, uji lipat, uji gigit memberikan perbedaan yang nyata (P&lt;0,05) pada perlakuan T1 dan T2 ; T1 dan T3. Uji derajat putih tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata (P&gt;0,05) pada tiap perlakuan. Suhu setting T2(40oC) merupakan suhu setting yang paling efektif digunakan dalam pengolahan surimi ikan Lele Dumbo dengan kriteria mutu produk: gel strength 824,5567; uji lipat 3,53; uji gigit 8,40; uji derajat putih 67,92%; kadar protein 19,53122%; kadar air 71,72075%; pH 6,77. Surimi is fish meat that has undergone the process of leaching (leaching) repeatedly, pressing, adding additional ingredients (food additives), packing and freezing. Surimi quality, among others, determined by the value of gel strength. Factors that can affect the value of gel strength are washing and temperature settings during heating process. This study aims to determine the effect of the frequency of washing on physicochemical properties (gel strength, folding test, bite test) and the effect of temperature settings on the physical properties (gel strength, folding test, test and test whiteness bite), chemical (protein content, water and pH) kamaboko catfish. Material used in this study were African catfish, salt, and other supporting materials. Methods of experimental laboratory research using completely randomized design (CRD) which consists of two stages. The first stage consists of 4 treatments namely L1 (1x washing); L2 (2x washing); L3 (3x washing); L4 (4x washing). The second phase of the study consisted of 3 treatments: namely; T1 (temperature setting 25oC); T2 (temperature setting 40°C); T3 (temperature setting 50°C); with 3 replications. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance and then tested with Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) test. After hedonic test, the data were analysed using Kruskall Wallis test followed by Multiple Comparison test.Results of a phase I study showed that washing frequency treatment gel strength values, folding test, nip test showed no significant differences (P&gt; 0.05) in the treatment of L3 and L4. Results of a phase II study showed that the treatment temperature setting value of gel strength, folding test, cutting test gave significant differences (P &lt;0.05) in the treatment of T1 and T2; T1 and T3. Whiteness test showed no significant differences (P&gt; 0.05) in each treatment. T2 temperature setting (40°C) temperature setting is most effectively used in heating catfish with fish surimi product quality criteria: gel strength 824.5567; folding test 3.53; cutting test 8.40; test whiteness 67.92%; 19.53% protein content; 71.72% moisture content; pH 6.77
