    Parameter Sensitivity Test of SWAT Hydrological Model on Two Different Resolutions (Case Study: Sub-Das Cisadane Hulu, West Java)

    A sensitivity analysis of SWAT parameters conducted on different input resolutions. The analysis will determine the input parameters that have the most influence on the role of output.Resolution of different inputs in the SWAT analysis, parameters can produce different inputs so as to cause the effect on output. The purpose of this study was to identify the level of sensitivity of the parameters in the model SWAT on two different resolutions, i.e. 1: 100 000 and 1: 250 000. A sensitivity test wasconducted manually by using the method that is absolute sensitivity to change (either increase or decrease) in each data base SWAT model parameters one by one while the other parameters fixed. NSE value of calibration for both of scale resolution demonstrates the similar NSE value, with the category on a daily simulation quite satisfactory (values   NSE 0.55 and 0.54), while the monthly simulation as very satisfactory (NSE value of 0.80 and 0.82). The level of sensitivity parameters is divided into three groups: sensitive, less sensitive and insensitive. Simulation daily and monthly for both of scale shows the parameter-sensitive parameters are the same that Alpha_BNK (baseflow alpha factor for bank storage) , CN2 (moisture condition II curve number), CH_K2 (effective hydraulic conductivity in main channel alluvium), CH_N2 (manning’s “n” value for the main channel), ESCO (soil evaporation compensation factor), GW_Delay (groundwater delay), and GW_Revap (groundwater “revap” coefficient)

    Abstarck : This research was aimed to increase learning proces and student achievement of science lesson V.C grade years of 2014 / 2015. Subject of this research is student IV.B grade of state elementary school 62 Pekanbaru which is total 30 students, consisted of 21 girls and 14 boys. This was a classroom research which has two cycles.the data shown either learning proces icreased. The basic score of daily examination as 12,04% which 25 students passed and 10 students failed. The ending of daily examination was as 71,43%. The second daily examination alsos increased from basic score as 21,44% which 32 students passed and 3 students failed. The ending of second daily examination was 94,43%. Based on the expalanation above it can be concluded that the imlpementation learning cooperatif type think pair share (TPS) increased students' achievement in science lesson of students IV.B grade of state elementary school 62 Pekanbaru

    This study was motivated by the low skills of students in meronce, the average value of 69.9 and was lower than the minimum completeness criteria specified namely 70. The number of students 28 people, students who completed only 12 students with a percentage of 42.9 %, while students who did not complete 16 students with a percentage of 57.1 %. In addition, the lack of creativity in learning meronce activity, because the teacher does not give an idea in advance of a variety of shapes roncean result, only a few people are able to meronce according to the instructions of teachers, because less active teachers guide students in meronce. The hypothesis in this study is a learning model when applied directly, it can increase the skill meronce Elementary School fifth grade students 72 Pekanbaru. This study aims to improve the skills meronce Elementary School fifth grade students 72 Pekanbaru with direct application of learning models with a number of students 28 students. Form of research is classroom action research. The research instrument consisted of learning tools and data collection instruments such as teacher observation sheet activities, student activities, and skills meronce. The data presented in this study are: (1) The skills of students in meronce increase can be seen from the average score of the class is the base class average only 69.9 in the first cycle increases the average grade and cycle menjadi 74,1 II increased to 79.2. This is an increase of 4.2 units from the base score to the first cycle, whereas from the first cycle to the second cycle increased by 5.1 units; (2) Activities of teachers increased from an average of 61.7 % first cycle is increased to 88.3% in cycle II with an increase of 26.7%; and ( 3 ) Student activity during learning with direct instructional model also increased, on average, in the first cycle was 68.3% and the average of the second cycle is 86.7% increased by 18.3%. From the results of the study proved that the application of direct learning model can improve the skills meronce Elementary School fifth grade students 72 Pekanbaru

    Base of problem in this research is the value of the students still under KKM. It is unknown, because the teacher does not involve students in the learning process, the teacher does not use the media during the learning process to take place, many students who are less interested in the teaching-learning process because it is considered less interesting, and presence of dependent students to other students who are superior,It is necessary for the improvement of learning with immediate application of learning models. Direct instructional model is a learning process that is more centered on the teacher (teacher centered), the teacher becomes the main information source and giver. Although the direct instruction method is used in addition to lectures and equipped or supported with the use of the media, the emphasis remains on the admissions process knowledge (subject matter) rather than on the search process and the construction of knowledge, and tend to emphasize the delivery of information sourced from textbooks, reference or personal experience. The study is in the form of classroom action research (PTK). This study aims to improve the skills makrame Elementary School fifth grade students 145 Pekanbaru. After the adoption of direct learning model can be applied, the data obtained from quantitative data. With the formulation of the problem is "Does the application of the model pembelajara can directly improve the skills makrame fifth grade students of SDN 145 Pekanbaru?". The quantitative data in the form of tests students' knowledge and skills through repetition test cycle. Activity teachers each meeting there is an increase. At the first meeting of teachers activity percentage is 65%. The second meeting of teacher activity increased by 15% to 80%. The third meeting increased 5% to 85%. At the fourth meeting increased 5% to 90%. The average percentage of the activity of teachers in the first cycle was 72.5%. While the average percentage of the activity of the teacher on the second cycle increased by 15% to 90%. in the first cycle, the daily tests of skills I, which completed 24 students with an average (70.58%), and incomplete 7 students with an average (29.42%). Experienced an increase from a base score of 26.47%. In the daily tests are completed the second cycle 31 students with an average (91.17%), and incomplete 3 students with an average (8.83%) and an increase from the previous cycle of 20.59%, while the increase from the base score to the second cycle of 29.41%

    FLICK: developing and running application-specific network services

    Data centre networks are increasingly programmable, with application-specific network services proliferating, from custom load-balancers to middleboxes providing caching and aggregation. Developers must currently implement these services using traditional low-level APIs, which neither support natural operations on application data nor provide efficient performance isolation. We describe FLICK, a framework for the programming and execution of application-specific network services on multi-core CPUs. Developers write network services in the FLICK language, which offers high-level processing constructs and application-relevant data types. FLICK programs are translated automatically to efficient, parallel task graphs, implemented in C++ on top of a user-space TCP stack. Task graphs have bounded resource usage at runtime, which means that the graphs of multiple services can execute concurrently without interference using cooperative scheduling. We evaluate FLICK with several services (an HTTP load-balancer, a Memcached router and a Hadoop data aggregator), showing that it achieves good performance while reducing development effort

    Dancing to the Partisan Beat: A First Analysis of Political Communication on TikTok

    TikTok is a video-sharing social networking service, whose popularity is increasing rapidly. It was the world's second-most downloaded app in 2019. Although the platform is known for having users posting videos of themselves dancing, lip-syncing, or showcasing other talents, user-videos expressing political views have seen a recent spurt. This study aims to perform a primary evaluation of political communication on TikTok. We collect a set of US partisan Republican and Democratic videos to investigate how users communicated with each other about political issues. With the help of computer vision, natural language processing, and statistical tools, we illustrate that political communication on TikTok is much more interactive in comparison to other social media platforms, with users combining multiple information channels to spread their messages. We show that political communication takes place in the form of communication trees since users generate branches of responses to existing content. In terms of user demographics, we find that users belonging to both the US parties are young and behave similarly on the platform. However, Republican users generated more political content and their videos received more responses; on the other hand, Democratic users engaged significantly more in cross-partisan discussions.Comment: Accepted as a full paper at the 12th International ACM Web Science Conference (WebSci 2020). Digital steganography using computer can use a variety of digital file, digital image file is one of them. With the infomation being hidden inside the image-carrier, the others will not aware about the hidden information. Application created using C# programming leanguage and the steganoraphy method using Least Significant Bit Insertion (LSBI). Microsoft Visual Studio used as Integrated Development Environtment (IDE) to code and design the user interface. Software develpment model using Extreme Programming, and the testing using black box method. Application designed to hide text or image inside an image-carrier and the hidden text or image can be recovered. The result of this research are an application that can hide text or image into image-carrier, and the hidden text or image can be recovered. Based on the testing application can run as expected and fulfill all the requirements

    A Note on Computations of D-brane Superpotential

    We develop some computational methods for the integrals over the 3-chains on the compact Calabi-Yau 3-folds that plays a prominent role in the analysis of the topological B-model in the context of the open mirror symmetry. We discuss such 3-chain integrals in two approaches. In the first approach, we provide a systematic algorithm to obtain the inhomogeneous Picard-Fuchs equations. In the second approach, we discuss the analytic continuation of the period integral to compute the 3-chain integral directly.
