Prognostic resources of mineral deposits by geophysical methods
In the framework of non-equilibrium statistical thermodynamics a relation between the concentration of component of the ore to its physical properties. On the basis of this communication formulas for calculation of the differentiated and predicted stocks of deposits of minerals are received on the basis of the geophysical data. Methods of magnetic investigation, electric investigation, gravitational investigation and seismic prospecting, and also nuclear physical methods are considered. A comparison of the calculated expected resources with proven for a number of fields in Kazakhstan.
The proposed method allows to perform predictive assessment of stocks of deposits in the early stages of prospects with using the results of geophysical methods, while it has a rapidity and to be sufficiently accurate.
Non-equilibrium thermodynamics, geophysical methods, and estimated resources, deposits of minerals
Internationalization of higher education as a factor in the competitiveness of a technical university
Internationalization serves the purpose of increasing the world rating of an educational institution, contributes to improving the quality of education in general and is one of the main factors in the competitiveness of a technical university in the modern world. The article describes the main directions of the development of this process in the frame of Nazarbayev University experience, the Canadian and Russian experience of research to establish a framework of capacity building for internationalization. This study is carried out during the implementation of the project "Capacity building for the internationalization of a technical university by means of digital learning technologies" (IRN project АP08052214), approved by the priority "Scientific foundations" Mangilik el "(education of the XXI century, fundamental and applied research in the humanities)" grant funding for young scientists for 2020-2022 by the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The author considers different approaches in understanding the process of internationalization, investigates the methodology of benchmarking, the process of internationalization of the university, presents the goal, scientific methods and potential of the project. The primary analysis of the studied works on the internationalization of higher education showed that there were problems in the results of international activities of national and foreign practices and the lack of work on capacity building for the internationalization of technical universities.</jats:p
Theterm «Concept»
"In recent years in the humanitarian field of scientific knowledge more and more attention has been paid to the relationship of language and culture, language and national mentality, language and national consciousness. In this connection, the object of study, the approaches and methods of describing and studying language are being reinterpreted. Researches pay more and more attention to such a category as a concept. Despite a widespread use of this concept in the field of scientific research, the term «concept» itself has not yet received an unambiguous interpretation. And this is due to the fact that researchers representing various branches of scientific knowledge, single out and consider decisive various features of this object. At present it should be recognized that it is a concept that is the key of cognitive linguistics. However, despite the fact that a concept can be considered established for modern cognitive science, the content of this concept varies significantly in the conceptions of various scientific schools and individual scientists. The fact is that a concept is a category of thinking that is not observable, and this gives a lot of room for its interpretation. Today the category of a concept appears in the studies of philosophers, logicians, psychologists, and cultural scientists, and it bears the traces of all these extra-linguistic interpretations. This term, although firmly established in modern linguistics, does not still have a single definition, although many well-known scholars are fruitfully studying a concept: N. D. Arutyunova, A. P. Babushkin, A. Vezhbitskaya, E. S. Kubryakova, S. E. Nikitina, V. N. Telia, R. M. Frumkin and others. Thus, it can be stated that the term of a concept in linguistics is both old and new at the same time. Back in 1928 famous scientist S. A. Askoldov published the article «Concept and Word», but until the middle of the last century, a concept was not perceived as a term in scientific literature. A concept is a cultural phenomenon of storing, developing and accumulating information, perhaps its universal definition is the shortest logical characteristic: a concept is a constructive concept of storing and accumulating information in the linguistic picture of the world. Thus, concepts represent the world in the head of a person, forming a conceptual system, and the signs of the human language encode the content of this system in a word. "</jats:p
Benchmarking as an effective tool in managing the quality of the educational process at a technical university
The article deals with the problems and prospects of using benchmarking as a tool for solving quality problems of a technical university educational process. This research is carried out during the implementation of the project «Capacity building for the internationalization of a technical university by means of digital learning technologies» approved by the priority «Scientific foundations» Mangilik el «(education of the XXI century, fundamental and applied research in the humanities)» and funded by the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Grant No. АР08052214). Within the framework of the Project, benchmarking was selected as the main tool for the effective implementation of internationalization at Karaganda Technical University. The author discloses the main content of the «benchmarking» concept, presents the goal, scientific methods and potential of the project, considers the main types, principles and phases of benchmarking. Tyumen Industrial University was chosen as a competing institution, due to the similarity of the higher education systems in post-Soviet countries. When comparing and analyzing the possibilities of benchmarking, the following key aspects were considered: the content of educational courses, the way of students’ and teachers’ thinking, the use of available resources and quality control of training offered.</jats:p
Study of foreign theory and practice of the steam approach in higher education
The article discusses the main ideas of STEAM education: teaching flexibility and plasticity of thinking through the arts, as well as the development of students’ creative abilities and the ability to solve real-world problems by combining science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. It was studied the experience of teaching in foreign universities on STEAM education, where the emphasis is on the students’ practical skills development with simultaneous integration of knowledge in interdisciplinary courses. The STEAM approach helps motivate students to further study, to engineering design and problem solving, attracts them to scientific research and open learning. Three key international learning models were analyzed and identified. including the methods used in the educational process. This study was carried out during the implementation of the project "Development innovative training potential of engineers through STEAM education", approved under the priority "Research in the field of education and Science" for 2021-2023. with the financial support of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Grant no. To the issue on the capacity building for internationalization of higher technical education
The internationalization of education creates new opportunities for higher education institutions, increases the availability and implementation of innovative methods in higher education systems. The article covers the development of the internationalization potential of higher technical education.Current study was carried out as part of the project «Development of the potential of internationalization of a technical university through digital learning technologies», approved by priority «Scientific Foundations of Mingilik El (21st Century Education, Fundamental and Applied Studies in the Humanities)» on grant funding for young scientists in the years 2020 to 2022.The author defined the concept of «internationalization», presented the purpose, scientific methods and potential of the project, examined the main directions of development of this process in the framework of the experience in Nazarbayev University, Canadian and Russian experience in constructing the framework for conceptualizing the development of internationalization. The initial analysis of the studied works on the internationalization of higher education showed problems in the results of the international activity of national and foreign practice and the lack of work to build the capacity of internationalization of technical universities.Much interest had been generated from the research on globalization and the internationalization of higher education through the prism of computer technology, which have proved to be a limited number.</jats:p
The problems of the development of foreign language communication skills of non-linguistic specialities' students
The article considers the role of foreign language, foreign language learning to students of non-linguistic spe-cialties is valuable for specialist development. Teaching of foreign language in non-linguistic universities has particular relevance, since foreign language communication in the professional activities of modern special-ists is characterized by increasing importance in the context of globalization and providing for the formation of students' ability to speak foreign languages in specific professional, business, scientific fields and situa-tions taking into account the features of professional thinking. Despite the development of the educational process organization, the difficulty of learning is that mastering a foreign language occurs outside the lan-guage environment with a limited number of hours. In the classroom, the task of developing students' speech skills is solved by performing a large number of language and speech exercises. In this regard, it should be noted the importance of extracurricular activities in a foreign language, which is particular relevance in achieving the subject, interdisciplinary and personal results of education. The problem of communicative skills formation of non-linguistic specialties’ students is one of the urgent problems, since graduates must have not only professional, but also experience of social, socio — cultural relations, who are able to show not only knowledge in a certain area, but also social initiative, develop performance in a team work. Teaching foreign languages for students of non-linguistic specialties has a professional-oriented basis. The students of non-linguistic specialties have a professionally-oriented basis for teaching of foreign languages, and the role of digital technologies should be noted too, what are widely used during the classes.</jats:p
