ROLE OF THE FUNCTIONAL TRAINING IN THE FITNESS INDUSTRY
In this article aspects of use of a functional training, and also his in-fluence on the state of health of the people who are doing fitness are af-fected. The research has shown that when using a functional training at engaged physical abilities increase and the health improves.В данной статье затронуты аспекты использования функционального тренинга, а так же его влияние на состояние здоровья людей занимающихся фитнесом. Исследование показало, что при использовании функионального тренинга у занимающихся повышаются физические способности и улучшается самочувствие
Isolation and properties of genetically defined strains of the methylotrophic yeast Hansenula polymorpha CBS4732
Genetically defined strains of the yeast Hansenula polymorpha were constructed froth a clone of H. polymorpha CBS4732 with very low mating and sporulation abilities. Mating, spore viability, and the percentage of four-spore-containing asci were increased to a level at which tetrad analysis was possible. Auxotrophic mutations in 30 genes were isolated and used to construct strains with multiple markers for mapping studies, transformation with plasmid DNA, and mutant screening. Various other types of mutants were isolated and characterized, among them mutants that displayed an altered morphology, methanol-utilization deficient mutants and strains impaired in the biosynthesis of alcohol oxidase and catalase. Also, the mutability of H. polymorpha CBS4732 vs H. polymorpha NCYC495 was compared. The data revealed clear differences in frequencies of appearance and mutational spectra of some mutants isolated. Many of the mutants isolated had good mating abilities, and diploids resulting from their crossing displayed high sporulation frequencies and high spore viability. Most of the markers used revealed normal Mendelian segregation during meiosis. The frequency of tetratype spore formation was lower than in Saccharomyces cerevisiae suggesting a lower frequency of recombination during the second meiotic division. The properties of genetically defined strains of H. polymorpha CBS4732 as well as their advantages for genetics and molecular studies are discussed
Ultrafast response of tunnel injected quantum dot based semiconductor optical amplifiers in the 1300 nm range
The ultrafast gain and refractive index dynamics of tunnel injected quantum dot based semiconductor optical amplifiers in the 1300 nm range are investigated using a heterodyne pump probe technique. In the gain regime, ground state wavelengths exhibit full gain recovery in less than 10 ps up to 3 times transparency, attributed to enhanced carrier refilling via the injector layer. The effect of the injector can also been seen in unusual phase dynamics at excited state wavelengths at this injection level. (C) 2012 American Institute of Physics. (doi:10.1063/1.3686901

Tensor analyzing power Ayy in deuteron inclusive breakup at large Pt and spin structure of deuteron at short internucleonic distances
The Ayy data for deuteron inclusive breakup off hydrogen and carbon at a
deuteron momentum of 9.0 GeV/c and large Pt of emitted protons are presented.
The large values of Ayy independent of the target mass reflect the sensitivity
of the data to the deuteron spin structure. The data obtained at fixed and
plotted versus Pt clearly demonstrate the dependence of the deuteron spin
structure at short internucleonic distances on two variables. The data are
compared with the calculations using Paris, CD-Bonn and Karmanov's deuteron
wave functions.Comment: 4 pages, 2 figures, talk given at the SPIN2004 Conf., 10-16 Oct.

41 GHz and 10.6 GHz low threshold and low noise InAs/InP quantum dash two-section mode-locked lasers in L band
International audienceThis paper reports recent results on InAs/InP quantum dash-based, two-section, passively mode- locked lasers pulsing at 41 GHz and 10.6 GHz and emitting at 1.59 lm at 20°C. The 41-GHz device (1 mm long) starts lasing at 25 mA under uniform injection and the 10.6 GHz (4 mm long) at 71 mA. Their output pulses are significantly chirped. The 41-GHz laser exhibits 7 ps pulses after propagation in 60 m of a single-mode fiber. The 10.6-GHz laser generates one picosecond pulses with 545 m of a single-mode fiber. Its single side-band phase noise does not exceed -80 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz offset, leading to an average timing jitter of 800 fs
