Contribution to the knowledge of Teloganodidae (Ephemeroptera, Ephemerelloidea) of India.

Two new species of Dudgeodes Sartori, 2008 and a new species of Teloganodes Eaton, 1882 are described from India; they are Dudgeodesselvakumari Martynov & Palatov, sp. nov. from Himalayan region (Uttarakhand), Dudgeodesmolinerii Sivaruban, Martynov, Srinivasan, Barathy & Isack, sp. nov., and Teloganodesbarathyae Sivaruban, Martynov, Srinivasan & Isack, sp. nov. from the Tamil Nadu part of the Western Ghats. Thus, for now, the Teloganodidae fauna of India includes 11 species. Dudgeodesselvakumari sp. nov. appears to be significantly extend northward the known distribution of Dudgeodes. Unexpected finding of the invasive Baikalian amphipod Gmelinoides fasciatus

A specimen of the Baikalian micruropodid amphipod Gmelinoides fasciatus was recently found in a spring brook in the Shugnansky District, Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province of Tajikistan. This occurrence represents the first record confirmed with mt-cox1 sequence data for this species from the Pamir Mountains. Reliable information on the introduction of Gm. fasciatus and the pattern of its distribution in the region is not yet available, but we hypothesise that the species was introduced intentionally to increase the fish productivity of Yashilkul Lake in 1973−1974. This finding of probably an isolated population shifts the southernmost limit of the species range approximately 1400 km from the Bukhtarminskoye reservoir, Eastern Kazakhstan. Revealing the stygobiont and crenobiont Mollusca biodiversity hotspot in Caucasus: Part II. Sitnikovia gen. nov., a new genus of stygobiont microsnails (Gastropoda: Hydrobiidae) from Georgia

A new genus of stygobiont hydrobiid snails, endemic to Georgia, is described. Sitnikovia gen. nov. includes two species: S. megruli sp. nov. and S. ratschuli sp. nov., known only from their type localities (Garakha and Sakishore caves). The data of shell characters, penial morphology, and radula of the new genus are provided.</jats:p
