Pelayanan Komprehensif Berkesinambungan dalam Program Penanggulangan HIV/AIDS di Kota Surakarta

Continuous Comprehensive Care Program for HIV / AIDS in Surakarta; This research aimed to find out the demographic, social and economic characteristics of people with HIV/AIDS (ODHA); stakeholders\u27 knowledge, attitude, and behavior toward HIV/AIDS and people with HIV/AIDS; comprehensive and sustainable support and service, as well as the contribution of stakeholders to the HIV/AIDS management program in Surakarta City. The research method employed was an exploratory one. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling one. The data collection was conducted using observation, in-depth interview, Focus Group Discussion, and documentation. Technique of analyzing data used was an interactive model of analysis. The result of research showed that in Surakarta, generally people with HIV/AIDS were productive, female, heterosexual and working as employees, having medical problem and social culture such as developing opportunistic infection, ARV drug side effect, depression, discriminated, negative stigma, isolated by the family and society member. The stakeholders of sustainable and comprehensive service in dealing with HIV/AIDS in Surakarta City had good knowledge about HIV/AIDS, caring and responsiveness to the people with HIV/AIDS. A comprehensive and sustainable support and service started during undertaking test; antriretroviral (ARV) drugs procurement, ethical and non-discriminatory treatment; opportunistic infection prevention and treatment; non-medical therapy and Peer-Group Support

Stakeholders Awareness of Safety Leadership Through Construction Safety Management System in Indonesia

Construction workplace safety has become serious issues among global companies. Improvement on occupational safety and health has been carried out. However, construction still becomes a sector with the highest accident rate. Particularly in Indonesia, construction contributes to 32% of accident rate followed by transportation, forestry, and mining. Main driver to improve safety performance is safety leadership as the frontline part of Construction Safety Management System (CSMS). Since it is a non-technical aspect, stakeholders’ awareness is doubtful. Therefore, this study aims to describe Indonesia construction stakeholders’ awareness of safety leadership as part of CSMS. Questionnaire was distributed to 693 respondents comprises of government, planners, consultants, private contractors, and State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) contractors. The result was analyzed with descriptive statistic to reveal the stakeholders’ level of awareness. SOE contractor has the highest awareness of safety leadership. It is considered as obvious finding since SOE contractor becomes dominant in Indonesia’s construction industry. The majority of big-classified contractors are SOE. Meanwhile, contractors’ BOD is the lowest. The BOD commonly uses managerial leadership to run the company rather than safety leadership. However, the safety leadership should be owned by every stakeholder in construction industry whether they are in high or low management level

Kepemimpinan Transformasional Kepala Desa dalam Lahirnya Inovasi Pelayanan Publik Bidang Kesehatan

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi seorang pemimpin dalam berinovasi di sektor publik. Melihat sektor publik kebutuhan untuk memberikan pelayanan bagi masyarakat semakin kompleks. Menjadi seorang pemimpin wajib memberikan perubahan siginifikan bagi masyarakatnya sehingga taraf hidup masyarakat akan sejahtera. Tuntutan secara global yang harus berupaya mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Serta temuan-temuan penelitian Pemilihan teori transformasional ini melihat sosok pemimpin Kepala Desa Dadapan Kecamatan Pringkuku Kabupaten Pacitan yang memiliki ide-ide yang inovatif. Konsep dasar dari teori transformasional adalah karakter pemimpin yang kuat dalam memberikan motivasi dan dorongan untuk tim yang berinovasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori (Kharis et al., 2015) yang menjelaskan ada empat indikator pemimpin yang transformasional yaitu karisma, motivasi inspiratif, stimulasi intelektual dan perhatian yang individual. Kegunaan masa ini teori transformasional merupakan salah satu trobosan agar suatu organisasi tidak mengalami ketertinggalan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode wawancara. Yang menjadi objek penelitian yaitu kepala desa, perangkat desa dan warga RT yang menjadi tempat tinggal kepala desa. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah setiap indikator teori kemimpinan transformasional menunjukkan nilai positif di lapangan

Accountability of General Election Commission of Klaten Regency in Organizing the 2015 Election of Regent and Deputy Regent

General Election Commission is an election organizing institution as referred to in the Law governing election administrators who are given the task and authority in administering an election based on the provisions stipulated in the Law. Managerial accountability is expected to be able to encourage the creation of public trust in government performance. Therefore, a review of managerial accountability in public organizations is very important to be carried out in order to ensure that the values of public services are carried out clearly on the managerial performance of the organization. This study will employ a qualitative descriptive approach to gain an in-depth understanding of managerial accountability of General Election Commission of Klaten Regency in organizing the 2015 election of Regent and Deputy Regent of Klaten. The data was obtained from sources related to the research object. In this case, it is the document of the election results of regional head from General Election Commission of Klaten Regency. Collecting the informants was carried out by using purposive sampling technique by selecting who the subjects are in the best position to provide information needed by researchers. In this case, General Election Commission of Klaten Regency carried out 3 stages in managerial accountability consisting of information, action and answer, although there are still a number of activities that are not yet optimal. Society participation and stakeholders have contributed to the success of the election implementation at each stage
