Lograr una formación en la Educación Superior, acorde a las brechas y exigencias culturales de las diversas generaciones, que confluyen en los contextos universitarios, profesionales y sociales, impone combinar y establecer estrategias que busquen la atención a la diversidad y la individualidad, desde posturas epistemológicas que faciliten la convivencia de cosmovisiones múltiples, que se orienten a la colectividad y la inclusión. Ante esta realidad, que se hace más compleja y dinámica en la era del conocimiento, la relación entre las políticas estatales y su materialización a todos los niveles, contextos y sujetos, tiene miradas y postula- dos diferentes en cada país, acorde a las voluntades de los gobiernos en cada momento histórico concreto

Chorus and society: The “orfeón gaditano” in 19th century

En la actualidad, es necesario reivindicar el papel de la periferia a pesar de que la tradición musicológica ha tratado de reducir la actividad embrionaria del movimiento coral al norte de España. Aunque son comunes los elementos que vertebran los orfeones, como el sentido de nación, la pedagogía musical de base y el agrupamiento obrero, el caso gaditano fue independiente, y siguió en su fundación el modelo francés. Además, el Orfeón Gaditano fue una asociación muy popular en el Cádiz de la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, por lo que merece profundizarse en su estudio, a pesar de que la documentación que nos ha llegado sobre el mismo es realmente escasa.The musicological tradition reduces the incipient activity of the choral movement to the north of Spain. Time-scales of Line-broadening Variability in OB Supergiants

Several works have recently shown that there is an important extra line-broadening (usually called $macroturbulence$) affecting the spectra of O and B Supergiants that adds to stellar rotation. So far, the only (very recent) physical explanation for the appearance of $macroturbulence$ relates to oscillations. This is a plausible explanation, but no direct evidence confirming its validity has been presented yet. We recently started an observational project to obtain constraints on the time-scales of variability associated to this extra line-broadening and its possible origin. Our observational strategy consists of the study of a well selected group of O and B stars, for which we obtain time series of high-quality spectra. Effects of a physical activity program on the physical fitness of schoolchildren with ADHD

Este artículo se centra en estudiar los efectos de un programa de actividad física sobre la condición física de un grupo de escolares con TDAH. MÉTODO: Han participado 12 escolares (12 niños), entre los 7 y los 12 años de edad. La condición física se ha medido mediante dinamometría manual, salto horizontal y Course-Navette. El procedimiento ha sido: pre-test, intervención y pos-test. La intervención ha consistido en 2 días a la semana de actividad física, 60 minutos al día, durante 12 semanas. RESULTADOS Y DISCUSIÓN: Se han producido mejoras significativas en condición física [capacidad músculo-esquelética del tren inferior (p=0.037) y capacidad aeróbica (p=0,011)]. CONCLUSIONES: El programa utilizado es eficaz para mejorar la condición física de niños con TDAH

Galactic chemical evolution

We analyze the evolution of oxygen abundance radial gradients resulting from our chemical evolution models calculated with different prescriptions for the star formation rate (SFR) and for the gas infall rate, in order to assess their respective roles in shaping gradients. We also compare with cosmological simulations and confront all with recent observational datasets, in particular with abundances inferred from planetary nebulae. We demonstrate the critical importance in isolating the specific radial range over which a gradient is measured, in order for their temporal evolution to be useful indicators of disk growth with redshift

Aeroacoustic characterization of a 3D organ pipe

LAUREA MAGISTRALEIl campo aeroacustico di una canna d’organo viene studiato da un punto di vista numerico, risolvendo le equazioni di Navier-Stokes comprimibili e modellando la turbolenza con Large Eddy Simulation utilizzando la libreria open source OpenFOAM e l’analogia acustica di Ffowcs Williams e Hawkings. L’obiettivo della tesi è quello di eseguire una simulazione di un modello tridimensionale di una canna d’organo. Per valutare la metodologia viene studiato il rumore indutto da un flusso laminare su un cilindro quadrato, confrontando i risultati con Inoue et al.. Per validare i risultati sulla canna d’organo viene utilizzato un modello bidimensionale, riprendendo il lavoro di Fischer et al. Il caso bidimensionale viene utilizzato anche per studiare i meccanismi fluido dinamici che generano il suono, concentrandosi sull’accoppiamento e sui cambiamenti di comportamento dovuti a modifiche della geometria. I risultati ottenuti dal modello tridimensionale vengono confrontati con il caso bidimensionale. Gli spettri SPL del campo acustico lontano sono ottenuti utilizzando un’analogia acustica e confrontati con le misurazioni su canne d’organo reali.The aeroacustic field of an organ pipe is investigated numerically. The compressible Navier-Stokes equations are solved by employing a Large Eddy Simulation turbulence model implemented in the open source library OpenFOAM. Then to compute the far field noise we make use of the Ffowcs Williams and Hawkings acoustic analogy. The objective of the thesis is to perform a computational simulation of a three-dimensional organ pipe. First, the computational methodology is validated on a two-dimensional test case, namely the noise induced by a laminar flow over a square cylinder. Then a 2D organ pipe model is considered where the numerical setup is tested following Fischer et al. The two-dimensional case is also used to study the fluid mechanisms that generate the sound, focusing on the coupling mechanism and behavioural changes due to modifications of the geometry. The results obtained from the three-dimensional model are compared with the two-dimensional case. The SPL-spectra of the acoustic far field are obtained using an acoustic analogy and compared between the cases and with the measurements on real organ pipes
