The Paradox of Dynamic Corporate Identity
Dynamic Corporate Identity has brought the new perspective of designing a brand identity. Dynamic Corpo- rate identity is a system that applying the latest technology to create a flexible logo as the result the logo will constantly can change in color, pattern or shape. It is believed as the new way to create a living brand. However the new approach may not suitable for several types of businesses or identities. This research aimed to understand; what improvement that dynamic identity could do to make brand more alive. By collecting qualitative data, and some relevant literature this study has found that there is a paradox in dynamic identity system.

How may designers create furniture that allows meaningful place-making in a modern office?: Case study in the Malaysian office environment
There have been many discussions on office environments, but there have been few studies on the designer relationship with the workplace that they are designing. Given the benefit of the findings of this research, designers might create opportunities for the user to express their emotions through their workplace personalization. In my early field work, I used a participatory design approach and used mock-ups to investigate the main problems and to explore design opportunities in developing new office environments. The findings revealed that meaningful workplaces can be achieved in different way and for different reason according to different needs
Interface Design Principles For Malaysian Interactive Science Courseware
In today’s Malaysian educational setting, most of the interactive courseware has been used as a new way to fully support the teaching and learning activity. Within these practices, the uptakes of interactive courseware in classroom were increased. Therefore, there are ongoing debates concerning the effectiveness used of the interactive courseware in classroom. Part of the arguments’ that had been acknowledged is deals with the quality of the interface design performance within the interactive courseware. Towards the issues concern, this paper discusses the 5 establish principles of interface design and its practical applications on the existing Malaysian interactive science courseware designed for the Smart School. The data describes in this paper is a part of the result from main research study undertaken on the development of a new doable set of interface design principles that is currently being completed. The new doable set of interface design principles moreover presuming will help the interface designers’ and the courseware developers in future development and improving the possibility of learning experience
Symbolic Form In Patrick Low’s Photography From 2004 - 2006
The objective of this research is to highlight the importance of symbolism in photography. It is derived from the Preliminary Investigation (PI) whereby the result shows that the amateur photographers are lack of knowledge about symbolic form. Besides, there are also lacks of proper knowledge/method of getting good pictures. It will be done by analysing the best photograph from Patrick Low’s photography. He is the founder of EXES Studio and spent over 25 years in photography with achieving several international awards. Besides the MPA Ambassador of Malaysia, he was the first ever MPA Certified 3D Portraiture Master Photographer in the year of 2014. Besides his artworks, literature review in this research will support the fact about importance of symbolism in photography. The final outcome of this research is important because this will be a good platform to understand the theory and application of symbolic form in photography. Besides, this will be a good opportunity to know about Patrick Low and his artworks. Credibility of Halal Logo Design among Consumers
The credibility of halal logo certified by JAKIM must perform as a vital indicator in providing consumers
with trustworthy components during product consumption. The recognition of halal logo will also be helping in raising potential brand awareness to avoid conflict and confusions to consumers. Previous research has indicated some point of view on the use of multiple patterns on crescent and moon applied for halal logo (Brill, Leiden, 1960), which is inconsistent to shows strong significance to consumers. The appropriateness aspect of putting correct symbols or shape for halal logo is particularly subjective, and yet has not been widely discussed. The objective of study is, i) to examine factors influencing
consumers to recognize and perceive halal logo, and ii) to suggest appropriate visual recognition to enhance better understanding. Using self-administrative questionnaire as a method of gaining a result, this study has been conducted among consumers. The findings may reveal some recommendation in improving previous halal logo to grab a sense of required recognition and raise brand awareness, which significantly essential in spreading wider knowledge for halal industry
KONTRIBUSI PENGALAMAN KERJA, PENDIDIKAN, DAN DISIPLIN KERJA TERHADAP KETRAMPILAN GURU DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DI SMA NEGERI KABUPATEN SEMARANG
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Untuk menganalisis dan menguji
kontribusi pengalaman kerja, pendidikan, dan disiplin kerja terhadap keterampilan
guru dalam pembelajaran; 2) Untuk menganalisis dan menguji kontribusi
pengalaman kerja terhadap keterampilan guru dalam pembelajaran; 3) Untuk
menganalisis dan menguji kontribusi pendidikan terhadap keterampilan guru dalam
pembelajaran; 4) Untuk menganalisis dan menguji kontribusi disiplin kerja
terhadap keterampilan guru dalam pembelajaran di SMA Negeri Kabupaten
Semarang.
Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kuantatif. Dalam penelitian
kuantitatif, terdapat populasi dan sampel sebagai data dalam penelitian. Populasi
dalam penelitian ini seluruh guru SMA Negeri Kabupaten Semarang yang
berjumlah 479, sedangkan sampelnya adalah sebagian dari populasi yang
kharakteristiknya dianggap bisa mewakili seluruh populasi yaitu 218 guru. Adapun
teknik analisis yang digunakan dengan analisis regresi, uji t, uji F, dan R2.
Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Terdapat kontribusi positif antara
pengalaman kerja, pendidikan, dan disiplin kerja terhadap ketrampilan guru dalam
pembelajaran di SMA Negeri Kabupaten Semarang (p = 0,000), dengan Kontribusi
sebesar 0,511 (51,10%); (2) Terdapat kontribusi positif antara pengalaman kerja
terhadap ketrampilan guru dalam pembelajaran di SMA Negeri Kabupaten
Semarang (p = 0,000), dengan Kontribusi sebesar 0,919 (9,19%); (3) Terdapat
kontribusi positif antara pendidikan terhadap ketrampilan guru dalam
pembelajaran di SMA Negeri Kabupaten Semarang (p = 0,000), dengan Kontribusi
sebesar 3,032 (30,32%); (4) Terdapat kontribusi positif antara disiplin kerja
terhadap ketrampilan guru dalam pembelajaran di SMA Negeri Kabupaten
Semarang (p = 0,000), dengan Kontribusi sebesar 1,155 (11,55%)
Single Spatiotemporal Display: Documentary Photography Of Pua Kumbu
The paper is an articulation of the objective, process, and output of a photo-mosaic display of a documentary photography of Pua Kumbu. The photo-mosaic display is a combination of multiple-sized images printed on a single wall, viewed together with slide-shows on monitors. It discusses the objective of incorporating still with time-based images on one spatiotemporal platform, making it a unique viewing experience, through an explorative and experimental method of photographic image consumption [1]. Pua Kumbu is a traditionally woven textile of the Iban people of Sarawak and Borneo. It is a meticulous and complicated process using natural dyes and weaving techniques passed down from generations and practiced by the women of the longhouses. The documentary photography is an extensive coverage of the whole process of producing this craft, from preparing the yarn, through the making of the dyes to lastly, the weaving. The documentation also covers other contextual elements such as the environment, the weavers, and rituals. As in the principles of documentary photography, the images are a series of photographs, non-directed or staged, and underlined with a social investigation, specific to a thematic spectatorial expectation [2]. In this case to bring forth the hidden and almost unknown aspects and elements in the traditional weaving craft of the textile. The paper illustrates the photographer’s point-of-views, from pre-photography work and literature review, photographing, post-processing and selection of images, design process of the display, and final installation. The photo-mosaic display was a feature in The Textile Tales of Pua Kumbu, A Polysensory and Intermedia Exhibition [3] in June 2015 at the Universiti Malaya Art Gallery, Kuala Lumpu
