    Implementasi Penyuluhan Hortikultura Berkelanjutan di Provinsi D.I. YOGYAKARTA

    Sesuai amanah Undang-Undang No.16 Tahun 2006 tentang Sistem Penyuluhan Pertanian, Perikanan dan Kehutanan, implementasi penyuluhan mulai memfokuskan pada aspek keberlanjutan yaitu meningkatkan kesadaran dalam pelestarian fungsi lingkungan hidup. Hortikultura berkelanjutan merupakan salah satu inovasi dalam melaksanakan pertanian tanpa merusak lingkungan. Adopsi hortikultura berkelanjutan belum sepenuhnya dilaksanakan oleh petani hortikultura di Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) meskipun telah dilaksanakan penyuluhan. Penelitian sebelumnya menyebutkan bahwa salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi suatu adopsi adalah penyuluhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efisiensi implementasi penyuluhan hortikultura berkelanjutan di Provinsi DIY. Survey dilakukan pada 350 petani hortikultura di Kabupaten Sleman, Kulonprogo dan Bantul, Provinsi DIY. Hasil survey menunjukkan bahwa efisiensi implementasi penyuluhan di DIY berada dalam kategori tinggi, yaitu: materi penyuluhan, metode penyuluhan dan kompetensi penyuluh pada kategori tinggi, sedangkan keterlibatan petani pada kategori sedang. Materi penyuluhan perlu diperkuat dalam hal penggunaan mulsa dan pemasaran dengan mempertimbangkan aspek kelayakan lingkungan dan ekonomi. Metode penyuluhan ditingkatkan dengan pelatihan (training) dan sekolah lapang. Penyuluh harus berkompetensi mengajak petani agar mengurangi penggunaan bahan kimia dalam memberantas hama dan gulma. Untuk meningkatkan partisipasi petani penyuluh harus meningkatkan frekuensi pertemuan dengan petani

    Oyster mushrooms are commodities that have a wide market share, but cannot be fulfilled by farmers. Partnerships between Omah Mushroom Tepian Langit and the community are needed to increase oyster mushroom production and community income. This study aims to identify and analyze community empowerment programs through oyster mushroom cultivation partnerships in Sendangagung Village, Minggir District, Sleman Regency. The research method uses a qualitative approach. The informant of this study is the owner of Omah Mushroom Tepian Langit. Observations and interviews were conducted to collect data. The results showed that the empowerment process in the community in cultivating oyster mushrooms went through 3 stages, namely, the stage of awareness, capacity, and empowerment. The awareness stage is carried out with discussion and socialization. The capacity stage is carried out by training in the cultivation of oyster mushrooms. The empowerment stage is carried out by providing facilities in the form of capital in the form of mushroom baglogs

    An evaluative study to assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation among degree students in selected colleges, Komarapalayam was conducted by as a partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science in nursing at Anbu college of nursing, Komarapalayam affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. OBJECTIVES : 1. To assess the knowledge level regarding cardio pulmonary resuscitation among degree students in selected colleges. 2. To find out the relationship between pretest and posttest knowledge score regarding CPR among degree students. 3. To find out the association between knowledge regarding cardio pulmonary resuscitation among degree students with selected socio demographic variables. HYPOTHESES : On the basis of the objectives the following hypotheses have been formulated : H1: There will be a significant difference between pretest and post test knowledge score regarding cardio pulmonary resuscitation. H2: There will be a significant association between the knowledge with selected demographic variables of the degree students (such as age, sex, religion, previous information regarding cardio pulmonary resuscitation). METHOD OF STUDY ; Conceptual framework for the study was based on the open system theory of J.W.Kenny’s. Research design used for this study was quasi experimental one group pre test and post test design. The study was conducted in Anbu Arts and Science College, Komarapalayam.. The population for this study was degree students. Purposive sampling technique was used to select the sample. Data collection tool consisted of demographic variables, questionnaire regarding Anatomy and Physiology of Heart, Cardiac arrest and CPR to assess the level of knowledge among degree students. The content validity of the tool was done by 5 experts in different fields. Reliability was obtained by Karal Pearson’s method, the score was r=0.9 which was highly reliable. Pilot study was conducted in Anbu arts and Science College (other department) to find out the feasibility of conducting the study. The collected data was tabulated, analyzed and interpreted by using descriptive and inferential statistical methods. FINDINGS : Major findings of the study were regarding the effectiveness of STP on the level of Knowledge. The obtained‘t’ value is 20.66 .Hence the null hypothesis was rejected. There was significant association was found between knowledge scores of degree students regarding Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation with their demographic variables such as Source of information (P0.05).     PENGARUH LAYANAN PASAR LELANG CABAI DIGITAL TERHADAP KEPUASAN PETANI DI KAPANEWON WATES, KABUPATEN KULON PROGO

    Pasar lelang cabai berbasis digital “dipanen.id” mempermudah pengelola pasar lelang dalam kegiatan lelang cabai. Aplikasi digital yang digunakan pengelola pasar lelang belum bisa dijadikan ukuran secara pasti bahwa layanan pasar lelang cabai digital dapat memberikan sebuah kepuasan terhadap petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pelayanan pasar lelang cabai digital dan kepuasan petani, serta menganalisis pengaruh layanan pasar lelang cabai digital terhadap kepuasan petani. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kelompok Tani Tani Rejo, Kapanewon Wates, Kabupaten Kulon Progo, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan sampel sebanyak 32 responden. Hasil analisis tingkat kualitas layanan pasar lelang cabai digital (X) meliputi: Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy dari seluruh variabel memperoleh kategori tinggi dengan nilai total skor tertinggi adalah variabel empathy dan terendah adalah variabel responsiveness . Kepuasan petani (Y) meliputi: harapan, minat menggunakan pasar lelang kembali, dan keinginan untuk memberi izin memperoleh kategori tinggi. Pengaruh kualitas pelayanan pasar lelang cabai digital terhadap kepuasan petani secara parsial Uji T menggunakan taraf signifikansi 5%. Uji F pada penelitian ini diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 yang artinya variabel independen (X) berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap variabel dependen (Y). Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh skor total terendah pada variabel dependen (X) yaitu daya tanggap dengan indikator ketanggapan pasar lelang dalam permasalahan harga cabai yang fluktuatif

    Penggunaan pupuk organik seperti vermikompos merupakan salah satu alternatif untuk mengatasi masalah menurunnya kesuburan tanah dan ketergantungan terhadap pupuk kimia. Akan tetapi, belum semua petani menerapkan teknologi tersebut secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi petani dalam menerapkan teknologi vermikompos di Desa Gentan, Kecamatan Kranggan, Kabupaten Temanggung. Masalah utama yang diteliti adalah bagaimana tingkat motivasi petani dari aspek otonomi, kompetensi, dan keterkaitan mempengaruhi penerapan teknologi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 24 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi otonomi dan keterkaitan berada pada kategori tinggi, sedangkan motivasi kompetensi masih tergolong sedang. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kompetensi petani sangat diperlukan untuk mendukung adopsi teknologi vermikompos secara lebih luas dan berkelanjutan

    Kapanewon Sanden memiliki lahan pasir yang menghasilkan bawang merah. Drip Irrigation hadir sebagai inovasi penyiraman pada lahan pasir. Tujuan penelitian: 1) mengetahui karakteristik petani (umur, luas lahan, tingkat pendidikan dan karakteristik inovasi (keuntungan relatif, kesesuaian, kerumitan, kemungkinan dicoba, kemudahan diamati); 2) menganalisis tingkat keberlanjutan adopsi Drip Irrigation (lama penggunaan, konsistensi, kepuasan); 3) menganalisis pengaruh karakteristik petani dan karakteristik inovasi terhadap keberlanjutan adopsi Drip Irrigation. Pengumpulan data melalui survei kepada 30 petani yang telah menerapkan inovasi Drip Irrigation di Kapanewon Sanden Kabupaten Bantul. Metode analisis yang dipakai analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian: 1) karakteristik petani: umur petani produktif, luas lahan sempit, tingkat pendidikan SMA dan karakteristik inovasi berada pada kategori tinggi kecuali kerumitan kategori rendah; 2) Konsistensi dan kepuasan berada pada kategori tinggi dan lama penggunaan berada pada kategori sedang; 3) faktor karakteristik inovasi keuntungan relatif berpengaruh signifikan positif dan faktor kerumitan berpengaruh signifikan negatif terhadap keberlanjutan adopsi Drip Irrigation. Faktor umur, tingkat pendidikan, luas lahan, kesesuaian, kemungkinan dicoba dan kemudahan diamati tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat keberlanjutan adopsi inovasi Drip Irrigation. Mengingat faktor keuntungan relatif dan kerumitan yang berpengaruh signifikan, maka perlu dilakukan sosialisasi lebih lanjut kepada petani mengenai manfaat, keuntungan dan kemudahan inovasi guna meningkatkan adopsi inovasi teknologi

    This research discusses the implementation of the 7P marketing mix strategy at CV. Tani Organik Merapi is a company operating in the field of organic agriculture. This research also identifies the 7P marketing mix which includes product, price, promotion, place, people, process, and physical evidence, and how it is applied in the context of an organic farming company. This research aims to be able to analyze the SWOT to formulate an effective marketing strategy. The research results show that internal and external factors can influence a company, including strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. This research method uses a mixed method by carrying out a research approach that combines quantitative and qualitative data analysis to obtain more comprehensive and accurate results. The analysis results show that CV's 7P marketing mix strategy. Merapi Organic Farming shows success in several aspects but requires improvement in the Promotion aspect. By using SWOT analysis, CV. Merapi Organic Farmers can develop 12 alternative strategies to improve performance and success in marketing organic vegetable products.

    Socio-economic drivers of adoption of small-scale aquaculutre in Indonesia

    Aquaculture has a critical role in achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals of increasing benefits that low-income and least-developed countries derive from marine resources. Its capacity to deliver these outcomes is challenging, particularly for marginalized groups. This is especially true if the introduction of novel technologies is applied with incomplete understanding of socio-economic and bio-physical contexts. We examined what socio-economic factors affect people’s perceptions of adoption of lobster aquaculture in rural households in Indonesia. We used multiple linear regression with model averaging to test the influence of five capital assets (human, social, natural, physical, and financial), including agency, equity, and household sensitivity, on people’s perceived ability to adopt lobster aquaculture. Agency and sensitivity had the greatest influence on the dependent variable. We then used correlation analysis to develop a heuristic model of potential indirect causal mechanisms affecting people’s perceptions of adoption. Our results point to the existence of a ‘sensitivity trap’, where more sensitive or marginalized households are less likely to engage in new economic opportunities. We emphasize the value of multifaceted programs for improving livelihoods, particularly for poorer, more vulnerable households as one way to support the UN’s commitment to using aquaculture as a pathway to achieving sustainable development

    The Motivation Factors and Farmer Group Clusters on Sustainable Horticulture Practices Adoption in Yogyakarta Province

    The decision to apply sustainable horticulture practices can be categorized as pro-environment behavior where motivation or needs are one of the determinants of behavior. The objective of this study was to analyze the factor and discover the farmer group compositions and motivation of farmers to adopt sustainable horticultural practices. The surveys involved 350 members of horticulture farmer groups in Yogyakarta Special Region Province, Indonesia. The results of second-order confirmatory factor analysis show the highest score of the underlying subs-construct of motivation construct is social needs (healthy family and group reference). The highest score of the underlying subs-construct of the level of sustainable horticulture practices (SHP) adoption are inputs (organic fertilizer and superior seeds). There are two clusters of SHP adoption and three clusters of motivation. This study provides information to make an effective strategy for extension education that makes farmers adopt sustainable horticulture practices based on their needs (motivation)
