Manggarai Barat NTT, Jurusan Teknik Sipil, Fakultas Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan, Institut Teknologi Nasional Malang.Dosen Pembimbing: Ir. Eding Iskak Imananto, MT. dan Ir. Andrianus Agus santosa, MT Ruas jalan boleng-terang awalnya merupakan jalan lingkungan III dengan tipe jalan 1 jalur, 2 lajur, 2 arah. Maka perencana akan merencanakan ulang jalan tersebut menjadi kelas jalan lokal dengan lebar rencana badan jalan 7m yang terdiri dari jalur lalu lintas m dan bahu jalan kiri – kanan maing-masing 1,00 m sesuai dengan persyaratan teknis jalan untuk ruas jalan dalam sistem jaringan jalan primer peraturan menteri pekerjaan umum nomor 19 tahun 2011. Tujuan dari studi adalah untuk merencanakan perkerasan lentur pada pelebaran jalan baru yaitu pada bahu jalan dan juga merencanakan perkerasan lentur pada perkerasan tambahan. Untuk menunjang studi ini diperlukan beberapa data seperti : data volume lalu lintas, data curah hujan, data CBR, data benkelman beam dan juga data analisa harga satuan dengan menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Satker Perencanaan dan Pengawasan Jalan Kabupaten Manggarai Barat NTT. Dari hasil data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah dan dianalisa pada perhitungan perkerasan lentur jalan baru dan perkerasan tambahan dengan standar Bina Marga analisa perkerasan lentur ini menggunakan Petunjuk Perencanaan Tebal Perkerasan Lentur Jalan Raya Dengan Metode Analisa Komponen. Dari Hasil analisa perkerasan lentur dan rencana Anggaran Anggaran Biaya ruas jalan boleng-terang STA 0+000 – STA 2+000 Kabupaten Manggarai Barat Tebal perkerasan lentur dengan lebar jalan 6 meter berupa Lapis Aus (AC WC) 4 cm, Lapis Pengikat (AC BC) 6 cm, Lapisan Pondasi Atas (Subgrade) Kelas A 40 cm. Besar perkiraan Rencana Anggaran Biaya pembangunan perkerasan lentur Rp 7.446.040.236,34 diharapakn pada perencanaan ini bisa mendapatkan hasil analisa yang baik sehingga dapat mengatasi kerusakan pada ruas jalan dan juga bisa membantu perekonomian daerah tersebut.     The impact of visualizing operational deviations on overall quality in assembly lines

    A framework for data collection and visualization of operational deviation at a Volvo truck manufacturing plant implementing Volvo Group\u27s production system, Volvo Production System (VPS), is presented. This includes visualisation of daily quality performance indicators to support decision making and improvement actions at the shop floor team level. The approach is evaluated in a qualitatively study using a survey instrument to collect responses from managers and team leaders, which acted as input for the actual use of the data and as validation of the framework. The results from this evaluation show that potentially operational deviations can be reduced, impacting positively quality performance indicators such as first-time through (FTT). This paper also provides a brief description of the VPS in connection with data analytics and visualization

    Association between risk factors for injurious falls and new benzodiazepine prescribing in elderly persons

    <p>Abstract</p> <p>Background</p> <p>Benzodiazepines are frequently prescribed to elderly patients' despite concerns about adverse effects leading to injurious falls. Previous studies have not investigated the extent to which patients with pre-existing risk factors for falls are prescribed benzodiazepines. The objective of this study is to assess if some of the risk factors for falls are associated with new benzodiazepine prescriptions in elderly persons.</p> <p>Methods</p> <p>Using provincial administrative databases, elderly Quebec residents were screened in 1989 for benzodiazepine use and non-users were followed for up to 5 years. Logistic regression models were used to evaluate potential predictors of new benzodiazepine use among patient baseline characteristics.</p> <p>Results</p> <p>In the 252,811 elderly patients who had no benzodiazepine prescription during the baseline year (1989), 174,444 (69%) never filled a benzodiazepine prescription and 78,367 (31%) filled at least one benzodiazepine prescription. In the adjusted analysis, several risk factors for falls were associated with statistically significant increases in the risk of receiving a new benzodiazepine prescription including the number of prescribing physicians seen at baseline (OR: 1.12; 95% CI 1.11–1.13), being female (OR: 1.20; 95% CI 1.18–1.22) or a diagnosis of arthritis (OR: 1.11; 95% CI 1.09–1.14), depression (OR: 1.42; 95% CI 1.35–1.49) or alcohol abuse (OR: 1.24; 95% CI 1.05–1.46). The strongest predictor for starting a benzodiazepine was the use of other medications, particularly anti-depressants (OR: 1.85; 95% CI 1.75–1.95).</p> <p>Conclusion</p> <p>Patients with pre-existing conditions that increase the risk of injurious falls are significantly more likely to receive a new prescription for a benzodiazepine. The strength of the association between previous medication use and new benzodiazepine prescriptions highlights an important medication safety issue.</p
