PENGEMBANGAN MODEL INTEGRASI CHARACTER VALUE DALAM UPAYA MENYIAPKAN CALON GURU KEJURUAN YANG BERKARAKTER
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan rumusan model integrasi character values
dalam upaya menyiapkan guru kejuruan profesional berkarakter yang teruji secara teoritik
Penelitian dilakukan dengan dengan tahap-tahap: (1) identifikasi character values dalam
upaya menyiapkan guru kejuruan profesional berkarakter melalui literature review, dan survey
di lapangan; (2) perencanaan model integrasi; (3) Focused Group Discussion untuk menentukan
bentuk dan model integrasi character values; (4) validasi; dan (5) penyempurnaan model
teoritis. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini meliputi kalangan stakeholders, perumus kebijakan,
kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, dan ahli pendidikan.
Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa (1) telah teridentifikasi 68 dimensi karakter yang
diperlukan bagi upaya mewujudkan calon guru kejuruan yang profesional berkarakter. dari
enam puluh delapan dimensi tersebut berdasarkan urgensinya menurut guru/pengelola PPL di
SMK maupun dosen dalam lingkup Fakultas Teknik, terdapat lima dimensi utama meliputi:
Sikap kompetitif dan sportif, Kemampuan mendengarkan, Sikap positif/mencintai profesi,
Berpikir sistem, dan Kesopanan.(2) Profil calon guru kejuruan yang tampak dalam diri
mahasiswa peserta PPL di SMK. Keunggulan calon guru tampak dalam berbagai aspek
diantaranya: kepercayaan diri, materi pembelajaran yang up to date, pemanfaatan IT, dan
ketrampilan mengajar. Sedangkan beberapa aspek kelemahan tampak dalam hal komunikasi
interaktif dengan siswa, kurangnya disiplin, tanggungjawab, komunikasi dan inovasi. (3)Pola
penanaman karakter dalam upaya menghasilkan calon guru kejuruan yang profesional
berkarakter dapat dilakukan paling tidak melalui enam cara yaitu: (1) kurikulum, (2)
pembelajaran, (3) iklim akademik, (4) kegiatan kemahasiswaan, (5) kepemimpinan dan
manajemen, dan (6) hubungan sinergis dengan stakeholders maupun dunia usaha/industri

Adapting Leadership Styles in Changing Environments
The inability of some leaders to adapt their leadership styles in changing environments is the problem addressed in this study. Questions and findings about the challenges, reasons, and practices of leaders adapting leadership styles in dynamic settings are described to understand this phenomenon. After developing a comprehensive conceptual framework to guide the research, conducting an extensive literature review to contextualize existing research, and creating wide-ranging coded themes from interviews with 25 leaders in a construction management company that were triangulated with 25 survey responses by team members reporting to these leaders, the study identified six key themes relating to the barriers, communication, empowerment, drive, style, and performance standards of adaptive leadership. A flexible, single-case study design explored this issue thoroughly. Key results of the study included findings that many participants are driven to compete and win in the marketplace, the emergence of leading by example as a shared leadership practice by most participants, and structured accountability as a strategic practice for leaders adopting adaptive leadership. The study contributes to the practical and theoretical understanding of adaptive leadership in complex environments and relates and integrates its business functions, Christian worldview, and a faith-driven approach that enhances conventional leadership norms

PENGARUH KELAYAKAN FASILITAS BENGKEL DAN PRESTASI TEORI PROSES PEMESINAN TERHADAP PRESTASI PRAKTIK BUBUT SISWA
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kelayakan fasilitas bengkel dan prestasi teori proses pemesinan terhadap prestasi praktik bubut siswa. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian ex-post facto dengan pendekatan deskriptif korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII Teknik Pemesinan SMK N 2 Yogyakarta. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 90 siswa ditentukan dengan persamaan slovin. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat kelayakan fasilitas bengkel dan prestasi teori proses pemesinan, maka semakin tinggi prestasi praktik bubut siswa dengan persamaan regresi Y=63,20+0,13X1+0,65X2.This research aims to know influence of advisability workshop facility and machining theory achivement on lathe practice achivement. This is ex-post facto research with descriptive correlational approach. The population is 12th grade students in mechanical engineering SMK N 2 Yogyakarta. The sample were 90 students which determined by slovin equation. Data collection method used questionnaire, test dan documentation. Data analysis technique used descriptive and multiple regression analysis. The research shows that increasing of advisability workshop facility and theory achievement of machining would increase the lathe practice achievement by regression equation of Y=63,20+0,13X1+0,65X2
HUBUNGAN KINERJA GURU MENGIMPLEMENTASIKAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DAN BUDAYA SEKOLAH DENGAN KARAKTER SISWA
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mengetahui gambaran karakter siswa, kinerja guru mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter dan budaya sekolah, mengetahui hubungan kinerja guru dengan karakter siswa, budaya sekolah dengan karakter siswa, dan kinerja guru mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter dan budaya sekolah dengan karakter dan mengetahui sumbangan efektif kinerja guru mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter dan budaya sekolah terhadap karakter siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto dengan sampel 159 siswa kelas XI SMKN 2 Depok, Sleman. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket, kemudian dianalisis deskriptif, korelasi dan regresi. Hasil penelitian: diketahui gambaran kondisi karakter siswa dalam kategori baik, kinerja guru mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter dalam kategori baik, dan budaya sekolah dalam kategori sangat baik , diketahui terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kinerja guru mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter dengan karakter siswa, budaya sekolah dengan karakter siswa, dan kinerja guru mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter dan budaya sekolah dengan karakter siswa, diketahui sumbangan efektif yang diberikan variabel kinerja guru mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter dan budaya sekolah terhadap karakter siswa sebesar 25,7 %.The purposes of this research are: (1) To determine student’s character, teacher performance in implementing character education and school culture; (2) to study the relationship between teacher performance and student’s character, between school culture and students character, and between teacher perfomance in implementing character education-and-school culture and student’s character; (3) to determine the effective contribution of teacher perfomance in implementing character education-and-school culture to student’s character. This research was ex-post facto research with a sample of 159 level 2 students of SMKN 2 Depok. The data was collected using questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive, correlation and regression analysis. The result show that: (1) Student character is in good category, teacher perfomance in implementing character education is in good category, and school culture is in very good category; (2) There is a positive and significant relationship between teacher perfomance in implementing character education and student’s character, school culture and student’s character, and teacher perfomance in implementing character education-and -school culture and student's character; (3) The effective contribution of teacher perfomance in implementing character education-and-school culture to student’s character is about 25,7%
PENGARUH LATAR BELAKANG KELUARGA DAN TEMAN SEBAYA TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA TEKNIK PEMESINAN
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh latar belakang keluarga terhadap motivasi belajar. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X Teknik Pemesinan SMK N 2 Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah ex-post facto. Data diambil dengan metode angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi sederhana, analisis regresi ganda, yang sebelumnya dilakukan uji persyaratan analisis meliputi uji normalitas, uji linearitas dan uji homogenitas pada taraf signifikan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh latar belakang keluarga dan teman sebaya dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa mengikuti persamaan Y = 52,716 + 0,118 X1 dan Y = 55,052 + 0,179 X2. Lebih jauh lagi pengaruh latar belakang dan teman sebaya secara bersama-sama meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa mengikuti persamaan Y = 49,191 + 0,150 X1 + 0,180 X2.This research was conducted to investigate the influence of family background on learning motivation. The research population is students of 10th grade at Machining Department of SMK N 2 Yogyakarta. This research is an ex-post facto research. Data were obtained by using questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis used in this research were simple regression and double regression, which were previously tested for analysis requirements, comprised of normality test, linearity test, and homogeneity test on the 5% significant level. The result shows that the influence of family background and peers increase the students’ learning motivation which follow the equation Y = 52,716 + 0,118 X1 and Y = 55,052 + 0,179 X2, respectively. The influence of family background together with peers increase the students’ learning motivation which follow the equation Y = 49,191 + 0,150 X1 + 0,180 X2

Adaptive algorithms for stochastic optimization and bandit learning
Optimization algorithms are fundamental building blocks of modern machine learning applications and recommender systems. Implementing these algorithms in practice, however, can be challenging. Indeed, optimization algorithms such as SGD often require extensive hyperparameter tuning to converge. Stochastic decision-making algorithms often rely on strong assumptions such as unbiased observations or even complete knowledge of the reward distributions. When these assumptions are violated, the performance of many standard algorithms can significantly degrade. In this thesis, we design and analyze algorithms with near-optimal performance when some of the standard assumptions in these areas are relaxed. In Part I, we give tuning-free convergence rates for adaptive stochastic gradient descent in (generalized) smooth stochastic non-convex optimization. Part II focuses on two variants Prophet Inequality problem, where we design constant-competitive policies in limited information settings, and in dynamic variant of the problem with time-varying feasibility constraints. Finally, in Part III, we study a bandit-inspired algorithm for domain adaptation, and consider a variant of the stochastic multi-armed bandit problem where the observed feedback is adaptively biased by the algorithm's previous decisions.Electrical and Computer Engineerin
