Heteronormativity and Its Impacts on the Identities and Life Experiences of LGBQ Individuals

Heteronormativity is deeply ingrained in U.S. society. Heteronormativity is the normalization of the heterosexual identity and the othering of any identity that does not fit within the strict ideals of heterosexuality. My study explored the impact of heteronormativity on the life experiences and identities of LGBQ-identifying individuals. In my study, I conducted 12 semi-structured interviews with participants who had been in different-sex relationships. The interviews illuminate the impact that heteronormativity often has on people who identify as LGBQ with their experiences of coming out, identity formation, and religion. Heteronormativity is deeply ingrained in U.S. society and impacts LGBQ-identifying individuals in more ways than just the three that were explored in this study. In my study, I learned that heteronormativity is even more ingrained and widespread than previously believed. DSTATCOM Implemented On a 3 Phase 4 Wire Distribution System for Harmonic Elimination and System Balance

ABSTRACT: This paper deals with the design and simulation of the performance of synchronous reference frame (SRF) and neural network controlled DSTATCOM along with a zig-zag transformer, implemented on a three phase four wire distribution system as a solution for power quality issues. First part of the paper deals with the design and simulation of SRF controlled DSTATCOM based on three-leg and four-leg VSC topology and performance of both is evaluated and compared. Second part deals with the design and simulation of Neural-Network controlled DSTATCOM based on three leg VSC topology. Then the performance of DSTATCOM using both SRF and Neural Network will be compared. For the three-leg voltage-source-converter (VSC) based DSTATCOM configuration a zig-zag transformer is used for neutral current compensation at the PCC. SRF strategy generates unit vectors from the grid voltage and operates a voltage source inverter. It uses co-ordinate transformations to generate the current reference. Whereas in ANN strategy the Adaline-based current decomposer estimates the reference currents through tracking of unit vectors together with tuning of the weights. The performance of the proposed DSTATCOM system is validated through simulations using MATLAB software with its Simulink and Power System Block set toolboxes

COMBINATION OF DOCUMENTATION, ANIMATION, AND LIVE ACTION IN THE FILM PINK PASTEL

Film Pink Pastel with visual documentation, animation and live action (called Trisikon; three situation and condition) is used in response to the dangerous phenomenon of ‘idam pica’ (pica cravings). The writer tried to make a film that is not a cliché, not just a play of dramaturgy, gesture, mimic, and exploratory dialogue from the actor himself. The author explored the visual (mise en scene) by dissecting cliches and not cliches artwork. All action ranging from phenomena, maternal ecstasy, to visual realization. It is intended to create random Audio visual spaces, chaotic, and broken. The combination of documentation, animation, and live action in this film is able to realize the Deleuze’s Logic Sensation theory, that there were two powers owned by chaos at the same time, destructive power, and life power. The modified form in the film Pink Pastel can help the filmmakers to open the possibility of wider cinema visual

Salicylic Acid-Catalyzed One-Pot Hydrodeamination of Aromatic Amines by tert-Butyl Nitrite in Tetrahydrofuran

A significant acceleration in the hydrodeamination of in situ formed diazonium salts (from aromatic amines) has been observed in the presence of 10-mol% salicylic acid, using tetrahydrofuran as the hydrogen donor. The reaction proceeds efficiently at 20 °C for a wide range of substituted anilines, even at 10-mmol scale, without any other additive. The same protocol has been adapted to the selective deuterodeamination of some aromatic amines. Film Konten Idam Pica dengan Visual Dokumentasi, Animasi, dan Live Action

Penulis memiliki ketertarikan pada rangkaian gambar yang tidak berhubungan, namun memberi tawaran untuk dipikirkan karena ada makna di setiap adegannya, bisa didiskusikan oleh para spektator antara benar dan tidak, bahwa film tidak hanya indah dilihat secara bentuk konvensional, melainkan bisa dinikmati dari gagasannya. Penulis meyakini bahwa ada pengalaman estetis dari tiap teknik sinematografi. Film Konten Idam Pica dengan Visual Dokumentasi, Animasi, dan Live Action digunakan sebagai respon terhadap fenomena idam pica yang berbahaya (mengkonsumsi non makanan seperti sabun, beling, arang, kertas, dan lain-lain). Selain karena keinginan dan pilihan cara bertutur yang penulis pikirkan (membuat film dengan visual dokumentasi, animasi, dan live action), penulis bermaksud mencoba memberikan pengalaman membuat film yang tidak klise (hanya permainan dramaturgi, gestur, mimik, dan eksplorasi dialog dari aktor) yang akhirnya membuat sineas tidak terlalu mengeksplorasi visual (mise en scene) dan dapat menghambat penciptaan bentuk film, dengan begitu film tidak hanya diberi sekat : dokumenter, fiksi, dan eksperimental.Bahwa temuan tentang bentuk yang menggabungkan dokumentasi, animasi, dan live action dalam shot yang berbeda pada sebuah film akhirnya dapat penulis rangkai dengan membedah karya klise dan tidak klise, sehingga penulis mengetahui pentingnya menciptakan film yang tidak klise dengan visual dokumentasi, animasi, dan live action, secara gamblang ketiga-tiganya melengkapi masing-masing visual, selain itu bentuk tersebut juga bertujuan sebagai daya ganggu kepada penonton, agar mereka ikut merasakan pusing, mabuk, sampai akhirnya paham dengan hal yang sengaja dihadirkan oleh budaya menonton sinema seperti ini. Semua rangkaian dari fenomena, ekstase ibu, hingga realisasi visual, menciptakan ruang audio visual yang acak, chaos, rusak, namun sekali lagi sudah menjawab bahwa tiga bentuk (dokumentasi, animasi, dan live action) dapat dipahami melalui logika sensasi dari Deleuze bahwa ada dua daya yang dimiliki khaos sekaligus dalam waktu bersamaan, daya penghancur dan daya hidup. bentuk yang dimodifikasi seperti dalam film Pink Pastel akan semakin membantu kita membuka kemungkinan visual sinema lebih luas.
