Corak Pemikiran Dan Gerakan Aktivis Perempuan (Melacak Pandangan Keagamaan Aisyiyah Periode 1917–1945)
This paper discusses the patterns of religious thought of the women activistsin the early period of Aisyiyah. The women activists are Siti Walidah, Siti Bariyah, SitiAisyah, Siti Badilah, Siti Munjiyah, Siti Badilah, Siti Hayyinah, dan Siti Umniyah.Through ahistorical approach, the author founds a link between colonialism that occurin Muslim countries and the revival of the spirit of women activists in mobilizing theMuslims society. The author also asserts that the thought of Aisyiyah leaders includingin the Islamic modernism that mean are Islamists a progresive religion, Islam is areligion of liberation, enlighten and advance. This understanding is very influential inthe development of Aisyiyah recently. The formers of Aisyiyah aware of the importanceof women\u27s participation and role in Islamic Da\u27wah join with men to accelerate therealization of a prosperous society.Key words: Thought, women activists, AisyiyahMakalah ini membahas tentang corak pemikiran keagamaan perempuan aktivisgerakan Aisyiyah pada periode awal.
A New Unconditionally Stable Method for Telegraph Equation Based on Associated Hermite Orthogonal Functions
The present paper proposes a new unconditionally stable method to solve telegraph equation by using associated Hermite (AH) orthogonal functions. Unlike other numerical approaches, the time variables in the given equation can be handled analytically by AH basis functions. By using the Galerkin’s method, one can eliminate the time variables from calculations, which results in a series of implicit equations. And the coefficients of results for all orders can then be obtained by the expanded equations and the numerical results can be reconstructed during the computing process. The precision and stability of the proposed method are proved by some examples, which show the numerical solution acquired is acceptable when compared with some existing methods
EVALUATION OF ANTI-FATIGUE ACTIVITY OF FLAVONOIDS FROM TARTARY BUCKWHEAT IN MICE
Background: Flavonoids are the major biological activities components of tartary buckwheat which has multifunctional
bioactivities. However, there are a limited number of studies on the effect of flavonoids from tartary buckwheat (TBF) on physical
fatigue at present. This study aimed to investigate the anti-fatigue activity of TBF in mice.
Materials and Methods: The mice were divided into four groups: control (C), low-dose TBF-treated (LFT), middle-dose
TBF-treated (MFT) and high-dose TBF-treated (HFT). The treated groups received TBF (100, 200 and 400 mg/kg), while the control
group received physiological saline. After 28 days' treatment, the mice performed exhaustive running exercise on the treadmill, along
with the measure of exhaustive running times, blood lactic acid (BLA), serum urea nitrogen (SUN), serum creatine kinase (SCK),
liver glycogen, superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GPx) and catalase (CAT).
Results: TBF prolonged the exhaustive running time of the mice. It sub-served to remove the accumulated products of metabolism
by decreasing the levels of BLA and SUN. It ameliorated the muscle damage by decreasing the SCK levels. It improved the
metabolic control of exercise and activated the energy metabolism by increasing the liver glycogen contents, as well as improving
endogenous cellular antioxidant enzymes in mice by increasing the SOD, GPx and CAT activities.
Conclusion: TBF has significant anti‑fatigue activity
Complete genome sequence of biocontrol strain Bacillus velezensis YC89 and its biocontrol potential against sugarcane red rot
IntroductionSugarcane is one of the most important sugar crops worldwide, however, sugarcane production is seriously limited by sugarcane red rot, a soil-borne disease caused by Colletotrichum falcatum. Bacillus velezensis YC89 was isolated from sugarcane leaves and can significantly inhibited red rot disease caused by C. falcatum.MethodsIn this study, the genome of YC89 strain was sequenced, its genome structure and function were analyzed using various bioinformatics software, and its genome was compared with those of other homologous strains. In addition, the effectiveness of YC89 against sugarcane red rot and the evaluation of sugarcane plant growth promotion were also investigated by pot experiments.ResultsHere, we present the complete genome sequence of YC89, which consists of a 3.95 Mb circular chromosome with an average GC content of 46.62%. The phylogenetic tree indicated that YC89 is closely related to B. velezensis GS-1. Comparative genome analysis of YC89 with other published strains (B. velezensis FZB42, B. velezensis CC09, B. velezensis SQR9, B. velezensis GS-1, and B. amyloliquefaciens DSM7) revealed that the strains had a part common coding sequences (CDS) in whereas 42 coding were unique of strain YC89. Whole-genome sequencing revealed 547 carbohydrate-active enzymes and identified 12 gene clusters encoding secondary metabolites. Additionally, functional analysis of the genome revealed numerous gene/gene clusters involved in plant growth promotion, antibiotic resistance, and resistance inducer synthesis. In vitro pot tests indicated that YC89 strain controlled sugarcane red rot and promoted the growth of sugarcane plants. Additionally, it increased the activity of enzymes involved in plant defense, such as superoxide dismutase, peroxidase, polyphenol oxidase, chitinase, and β-1,3-glucanase.DiscussionThese findings will be helpful for further studies on the mechanisms of plant growth promotion and biocontrol by B. velezensis and provide an effective strategy for controlling red rot in sugarcane plants
Corrigendum: Complete genome sequence of biocontrol strain Bacillus velezensis YC89 and its biocontrol potential against sugarcane red rot
