Lepton flavor violating and conversion in unparticle physics
We have studied lepton flavor violation processes and
conversion in nuclei induced by unparticle. Both and conversion rate strongly
depend on the scale dimension and the unparticle coupling
(K=V, A, S, P). Present experimental upper bounds on
, and put stringent constraints on the parameters of unaprticle physics. The
scale dimensions around 2 are favored for the unparticle scale
of and the unparticle coupling of
. is proportional to
for the pure vector and scalar couplings between
unparticle and SM fermions, this peculiar atomatic number dependence can be
used to distinguish unparticle from other theoretical models.Comment: 16 pages, 5 figure
Status and prospects of `bi-large' leptonic mixing
Bi-large patterns for the leptonic mixing matrix are confronted with current
neutrino oscillation data. We analyse the status of these patterns and
determine, through realistic simulations, the potential of upcoming
long-baseline experiment DUNE in testing bi-large \emph{ansatze} and
discriminating amongst them.Comment: 14 pages, 7 figures, numerical results refined, some more discussion

CP Symmetries as Guiding Posts: Revamping Tri-Bi-Maximal Mixing-I
We analyze the possible generalized CP symmetries admitted by the
Tri-Bi-Maximal (TBM) neutrino mixing. Taking advantage of these symmetries we
construct in a systematic way other variants of the standard TBM ansatz.
Depending on the type and number of generalized CP symmetries imposed, we get
new mixing matrices, all of which related to the original TBM matrix. One of
such "revamped" TBM variants is the recently discussed mixing matrix of
arXiv:1806.03367. We also briefly discuss the phenomenological implications
following from these mixing patterns.Comment: 21 pages, 4 figure
The Correlation Between Spectral Index And Accretion Rate For AGN
In this paper, we present a correlation between the spectral index
distribution (SED) and the dimensionless accretion rate defined as
for AGN. This quantity is used as a substitute of
the physical accretion rate. We select 193 AGN with both broad H and
broad H, and with absorption lines near MgI from SDSS
DR4. We determine the spectral index and dimensionless accretion rate after
correcting for both host galaxy contribution and internal reddening effects. A
correlation is found between the optical spectral index and the dimensionless
accretion rate for AGN, including low luminosity AGN ( sometimes called "dwarf AGN" (Ho et al. 1997)). The existence
of this correlation provides an independent method to estimate the central BH
masses for all types of AGN. We also find that there is a different correlation
between the spectral index and the BH masses for normal AGN and low luminosity
AGN, which is perhaps due to the different accretion modes in these two types
of nuclei. This in turn may lead to the different correlations between BH
masses and optical continuum luminosity reported previously (Zhang et al.
2007a), which invalidates the application of the empirical relationship found
by Kaspi et al. (2000, 2005) to low luminosity AGN in order to determine their
BLR sizes.Comment: 10 pages, 7 figures, accepted for publication in MNRA
Influence of Advertisement Message on Fitbar Billboard Towards Brand Awareness and Its Implication to Brand Image
The assumption that snacks could cause problem in diet and bodyweight, makes this study interesting. Because this product, Fitbar, appears on the market as a healthy snack that is contrary to this assumption. This product is about to prove that there is a healthy and tasty snack as snacks. Marketing communications through advertising billboards with the media aims to reach the target market. Fitbar billboard ads convey the message content in the form of information about the attributes and benefits of products such as nutritional content and product slogans. This study uses path analysis techniques to determine the effect of variable X (advertisement message) to variable Y (brand awareness) and its implications on the variable Z (brand image). The results showed that the content of the message components such as message structure, message display, message format, and the source of the message have contributed in the formation of brand awareness, which further on has implications on brand image. Influence on brand awareness message content is equal to 0.609. The effect of variable X (message) and Y (brand awareness) to variable Z (brand image) amounted to 0,365. Therefore, the use of billboards media in conveying the message to the target market of Fitbar products is to build brand awareness and the implications for brand image
Spectroscopy of -States in Quark Model and Baryon-Antibaryon Enhancements
We study the mass spectrum of the mesons both from
the quark model with triquark correlations and from common quark model with
colormagnetic interactions and with relative S-waves between quarks. Two
cluster configurations and
are considered. In the spectrum
we find rather stable states which have the same quantum number with particle
resonances which are corresponding to the enhancement,
enhancement and enhancement with
spin- or . This imply these enhancements are NOT
experimental artifacts. The color-spin-flavor structures of ,
, and enhancements are revealed. The
existence of spin-
enhancements is predicted.Comment: 45 pages, 5 figure
