    IDeF-X ASIC for Cd(Zn)Te spectro-imaging systems

    Joint progresses in Cd(Zn)Te detectors, microelectronics and interconnection technologies open the way for a new generation of instruments for physics and astrophysics applications in the energy range from 1 to 1000 keV. Even working between -20 and 20 degrees Celsius, these instruments will offer high spatial resolution (pixel size ranging from 300 x 300 square micrometers to few square millimeters), high spectral response and high detection efficiency. To reach these goals, reliable, highly integrated, low noise and low power consumption electronics is mandatory. Our group is currently developing a new ASIC detector front-end named IDeF-X, for modular spectro-imaging system based on the use of Cd(Zn)Te detectors. We present here the first version of IDeF-X which consists in a set of ten low noise charge sensitive preamplifiers (CSA). It has been processed with the standard AMS 0.35 micrometer CMOS technology. The CSA are designed to be DC coupled to detectors having a low dark current at room temperature.     The X-/Gamma-ray camera ECLAIRs for the Gammay-ray burst mission SVOM

    We present ECLAIRs, the Gamma-ray burst (GRB) trigger camera to fly on-board the Chinese-French mission SVOM. ECLAIRs is a wide-field (2\sim 2\,sr) coded mask camera with a mask transparency of 40\% and a 1024 cm2\mathrm{cm}^2 detection plane coupled to a data processing unit, so-called UGTS, which is in charge of locating GRBs in near real time thanks to image and rate triggers. We present the instrument science requirements and how the design of ECLAIRs has been optimized to increase its sensitivity to high-redshift GRBs and low-luminosity GRBs in the local Universe, by having a low-energy threshold of 4 keV. The total spectral coverage ranges from 4 to 150 keV. ECLAIRs is expected to detect 200\sim 200 GRBs of all types during the nominal 3 year mission lifetime. To reach a 4 keV low-energy threshold, the ECLAIRs detection plane is paved with 6400 4×4 mm24\times 4~\mathrm{mm}^2 and 1 mm-thick Schottky CdTe detectors. The detectors are grouped by 32, in 8x4 matrices read by a low-noise ASIC, forming elementary modules called XRDPIX. In this paper, we also present our current efforts to investigate the performance of these modules with their front-end electronics when illuminated by charged particles and/or photons using radioactive sources. All measurements are made in different instrument configurations in vacuum and with a nominal in-flight detector temperature of 20-20^\circC. This work will enable us to choose the in-flight configuration that will make the best compromise between the science performance and the in-flight operability of ECLAIRs.     A seed-diffusion model for tropical tree diversity patterns

    Diversity patterns of tree species in a tropical forest community are approached by a simple lattice model and investigated by Monte Carlo simulations using a backtracking method. Our spatially explicit neutral model is based on a simple statistical physics process, namely the diffusion of seeds. The model has three parameters: the speciation rate, the size of the meta-community in which the studied tree-community is embedded, and the average surviving time of the seeds. By extensive computer simulations we aim the reproduction of relevant statistical measures derived from the experimental data of the Barro Colorado Island tree census in year 1995. The first two parameters of the model are fixed to known values, characteristic of the studied community, thus obtaining a model with only one freely adjustable parameter. As a result of this, the average number of species in the considered territory, the relative species abundance distribution, the species-area relationship and the spatial auto-correlation function of the individuals in abundant species are simultaneously fitted with only one parameter which is the average surviving time of the seeds.Comment: 12 pages, 5 figure

    Fungsi Legislasi adalah fungsi untuk membentuk undang-undang. Fungsi ini merupakan fungsi utama lembaga perwakilan rakyat. Terkait hal ini Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Kota Kotamobagu periode 2019-2024, belum memperlihatkan menjalankan fungsi legislasi sesuai dengan tugas pokoknya. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif (Sugiyono, 2009), penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana pelaksanaan fungsi legislasi di DPRD Kabupaten Kota Kotamobagu. Pelaksanaan fungsi legislasi akan dikaji dengan menggunakan pendekatan yang dikemukakan oleh Syukur (2007), yang mengatakan bahwa dalam pelaksanaan fungsi diperlukannya sebuah persiapan yang telah merumuskan segala kebutuhan, alat-alat yang di butuhkan, siapa yang melaksanakan, dimana tempat pelaksanaannya, di mulai dan bagaimana cara yang harus di laksanakan. Temuan penelitian menggambarkan Kinerja DPRD Kota Kotamobagu dalam pelaksanaan fungsi legislasi dapat dikatakan belum mencapai tujuan dan target, atau dapat dikatakan belum efektif. Hal itu terlihat dari fungsi legislasi pembuatan produk hukum belum mencapai tujuan sebagaimana yang diharapkan masyarakat, karena pembentukan Peraturan Daerah (Perda) yang selalu mengalami keterlambatan pembahasan. Selain itu pembahasan Perda bersama pihak eksekutif untuk mengesahkan suatu produk hukum tidak pernah dilakukan pembahasan pada jam kerja melainkan pembahasan setiap produk hukum sering dilakukan pada malam hari diluar jam kerja efektif. Kata Kunci: Fungsi Legislasi; DPRD Kota Kotamobagu  ABSTRACTThe function of legislation is a function to form laws. Using qualitative methods (Sugiyono, 2009), this study examines how the implementation of the legislative function in the DPRD Kota Kotamobagu Regency. The research findings illustrate that the performance of the Kotamobagu City DPRD in the implementation of the legislative function can be said to have not achieved the goals and targets, or it can be said that it has not been effective.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi adanya pengaruh earnings response coefficient dan kualitas laba terhadap pendapatan saham dengan good corporate governance sebagai variabel moderator. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 47 perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dan tercatat dalam TheIndonesian Institute of Corporate Governance (IICG)selama periode 2010-2013. Lebih lanjut, penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan teknik analisis multiple regression. Variabel terikat pada penelitian ini adalah pendapatan saham, sementara variabel bebas pada penelitian ini adalahearnings response coefficient dan kualitas laba serta good corporate governance sebagai variabel moderator. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa variabel earnings response coefficient dan kualitas laba memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap pendapatan saham, serta variabel good corporate governance mampu memoderasi pengaruh earnings response coefficient dan kualitas laba terhadap pendapatan saham, dimana dari hasil analisis penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel good corporate governance dapat melemahkan antara hubungan earnings response coefficient dan kualitas laba terhadap pendapatan saham.     Pengaruh Pendidikan Kesehatan Melalui Media Audiovisual terhadap pengetahuan dan Sikap Remaja tentang HIV/AIDS

    HIV/ AIDS merupakan penyakit menular yang menyerang system kekebalan tubuh. HIV/AIDS terus berkembang dimana jumlah penderitanya sangat tinggi sehingga menimbulkan banyak stigma di masyarakat. HIV/AIDS dapat menginfeksi semua golongan umur termasuk remaja. UNICEF (United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund) menyebutkan bahwa jumlah kematian HIV/AIDS menunjukkan tren yang mengkhawatirkan yang terjadi pada kalangan remaja di seluruh dunia. Bahkan beberapa diantara mereka beranggapan bahwa HIV merupakan penyakit yang biasa dan tidak berbahaya (UNICEF, 2017). Perbuatan atau perilaku remaja yang menyimpang dari norma-norma masyarakat, termasuk dalam kenakalan remaja. Kenakalan remaja bukan hanya perbuatan anak yang melawan hukum saja, akan tetapi juga termasuk di dalamnya perbuatan yang melanggar norma masyarakat, misalnya: pencurian, pembunuhan, tawuran, balapan liar, penyalahgunaan narkoba, dan melakukakn hubungan seksual pranikah, dengan pemberian informasi yang tepat, maka hal menyimpang tersebut dapat dicegah sejak dini. Pemberian informasi dapat dilakukan melalui pendidikan kesehatan. Untuk mencapai tujuan, pendidikan kesehatan dapat dilakukan dengan bantuan media, salah satunya yaitu media audiovisual yang disajikan dalam bentuk video animasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan melalui media audiovisual terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap remaja tentang HIV/AIDS. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksperiment dengan pendekatan pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 96 orang pelajar yang terdiri dari 31 pelajar kelas X, 41 pelajar kelas XI, dan 24 pelajar kelas XII. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini daah 96 orang yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok intervensi dan kelompok. Teknik penentuan sampel menggunakan total sampel dan pengambilan sampel menggunakan nomor urut absen kelas. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar kuesioner, yaitu kuesioner pengetahuan dan sikap. Analisis univariat menyajikan data karakteristik responden seperti usia, jenis kelamin, kelas, informasi pernah pacaran, dan sumber informasi tentang HIV/AIDS dalam bentuk jumlah dan presentase. Uji normalitas yang dilakukan menggunakan Kolmogorof karena jumlah sampel lebih dari 50. Hasil uji normalitas didapatkan data terdistribusi normal, sehingga dapat menggunakan uji: t-dependen : untuk melihat perbedaan intervensi pada kelompok eksperimen sebelum dan sesudah diberikan intervensi, dan uji t-independen : untuk melihat perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik responden berdasarkan usia adalah 17,2 tahun dan jenis kelamin terbanyak adalah laki-laki (62,5%). Sumber informasi terbanyak adalah internet (49%). Skor rata-rata pengetahuan kelompok intervensi adalah 17,03 dan kelompok kontrol adalah 15,70. Sedangkan skor rata-rata sikap kelompok intervensi adalah 33,67 dan kelompok kontrol adalah 29,17. Hasil uji bivariat menggunakan t independen dengan p-value = 0,001 (<0,05), dimana hal tersebut menunjukkan ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan melalui media audiovisual terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap remaja tentang HIV/AIDS. Dari hasil penelitian peran perawat dalam menerapkan pendidikan kesehatan dengan media audiovisual untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap remaja tentang HIV/AIDS perlu ditingkatkan tidak hanya pada kelompok remaja, namun juga kepada masyarakat

    Abstrak Akademi keperawatan adalah tempat untuk belajar tentang ilmu keperawatan. Peningkatan jumlah mahasiswa keperawatan di Indonesia sangat cepat. Salah satu studi kasus, yaitu di Akademi Keperawatan di Kabupaten Purworejo, peningkatan jumlah perawat di Indonesia membuat meningkatnya jumlah mahasiswa keperawatan dan jumlah fasilitas pendukung belajar. Tugas akhir ini akan mengambil objek Akademi Perawat Kabupaten Purworejo yang terletak di Jl. Raya Purworejo-Kutoarjo Km. 6.5 Ds.Grantung, Kecamatan Bayan, Kabupaten Purworejo 54152. Dari hasil survei, ada beberapa masalah yang ditemukan, termasuk organisasi ruang yang buruk, fasilitas yang tidak lengkap dan suasana visual yang tidak mendukung minat siswa dalam belajar. Untuk mengatasi masalah di Akademi Perawat di kabupaten Purworejo, judul dari tugas akhir ini adalah "Re-Desain Interior Akademi Keperawatan di Kabupaten Purworejo".     Two-electron two-nucleus effective Hamiltonian and the spin diffusion barrier

    Dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) involves a polarization transfer from unpaired electrons to hyperfine coupled nuclei and can increase the sensitivity of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) signals by several orders of magnitude. The hyperfine coupling is considered to suppress nuclear dipolar flip-flop transitions, hindering the transport of nuclear hyperpolarization into the bulk (''spin-diffusion barrier''). Possible polarization-transfer pathways leading to DNP and subsequent spin diffusion between hypershifted nuclei in a two-electron two-nucleus four-spin system are investigated. The Schrieffer-Wolff transformation is applied to characterize transitions that are only possible as second-order effects. An energy-conserving electron-nuclear four-spin flip-flop is identified, which combines an electron dipolar with a nuclear dipolar flip-flop process, describing spin diffusion close to electrons. The relevance of this process is supported by two-compartment model fits of HypRes-on experimental data. This suggests that all nuclear spins can contribute to the hyperpolarization of the bulk and the concept of a spin-diffusion barrier has to be reconsidered for samples with significant electron and nuclear dipolar couplings

    Relaxation enhancement by microwave irradiation may limit dynamic nuclear polarization

    Dynamic nuclear polarization enables the hyperpolarization of nuclear spins beyond the thermal-equilibrium Boltzmann distribution. However, it is often unclear why the experimentally measured hyperpolarization is below the theoretical achievable maximum polarization. We report a (near-) resonant relaxation enhancement by microwave (MW) irradiation, leading to a significant increase in the nuclear polarization decay compared to measurements without MW irradiation. For example, the increased nuclear relaxation limits the achievable polarization levels to around 35% instead of hypothetical 60%, measured in the DNP material TEMPO in 1H glassy matrices at 3.3 K and 7 T. Applying rate-equation models to published build-up and decay data indicates that such relaxation enhancement is a common issue in many samples when using different radicals at low sample temperatures and high Boltzmann polarizations of the electrons. Accordingly, quantification and a better understanding of the relaxation processes under MW irradiation might help to design samples and processes towards achieving higher nuclear hyperpolarization levels.better understanding of the relaxation processes under MW irradiation might help to design samples and processes towards achieving higher nuclear hyperpolarization levels
