This paper analyzes the dynamics of innovation in the economy. Thus, it examines the economic and social conditions involved in the technological progress and promotion of innovations. The economic structure is seen in front of the company's innovative features and the accumulation of capabilities dedicated to the innovation. The social conditions are considered in respect of the role of institutions in the innovation process. The relationship between economic and social environments shape the social capital, responsible for the generation, dissemination and use of technologies that shape the innovation process. The analysis of these conditions for the promotion of innovation is built by means of systemic models of innovation. These models capture innovation in four environments, the national, sectoral, regional and technological. Stylized facts are verified in the literature and confirm the conditions microeconomic, sectoral, regional and institutional into the development of innovations. The artice proposes that the study of innovation incorporates these differences in their theoretical and empirical body.
In the Schumpeterian endogenous growth model, random innovations (technical progress) are the main element that explains economic growth. Empirical analyses suggest there are two variables that explain the introduction of innovations: a randomly variable and a deterministic trend. In this paper we add a deterministic variable to the basic Schumpeterian growth model. The introduction of a determinist variable improves the basic model. The new model reproduces several styled facts, which are shown in simulations.endogenous growth; spatial agglomeration
ReCooPla: a DSL for coordination-based reconfiguration of software architectures
In production environments where change is the rule rather than the exception, adaptation of software plays an important role. Such adaptations presuppose dynamic reconfiguration of the system architecture, owever, it is in the static setting (design-phase) that such reconfigurations must be designed and analysed, to reclude erroneous evolutions. Modern software systems, which are built from the coordinated composition of loosely-coupled software components, are naturally adaptable; and coordination specification is, usually, the main reference point to inserting changes in these systems.
In this paper, a domain-specific language—referred to as ReCooPLa—is proposed to design reconfigurations that change the coordination structures, so that they are analysed before being applied in run time. Moreover, a reconfiguration engine is introduced, that takes conveniently translated ReCooPLa specifications and applies them to coordination structures.(undefined
