ZBED4, a cone and Müller cell protein in human retina, has a different cellular expression in mouse.
PurposeZBED4, a protein in cones and Müller cells of human retina, may play important functions as a transcriptional activator of genes expressed in those cells or as a co-activator/repressor of their nuclear hormone receptors. To begin investigating these potential roles of ZBED4, we studied the developmental expression and localization of both the Zbed4 mRNA and protein of mouse retina.Methodsnorthern blots showed the presence of Zbed4 mRNA in retina and other mouse tissues, and western blots showed the nuclear and cytoplasmic expression of Zbed4 at different developmental times. Antibodies against Zbed4 and specific retinal cell markers were used for retinal immunohistochemistry.ResultsZbed4 mRNA was present at different levels in all the mouse tissues analyzed. The Zbed4 protein was barely detectable at embryonic day (E)14.5 but was clearly seen at E16 at both retinal outer and vitreal borders and throughout the retina by E18 and postnatal day 0 (P0). Thereafter, Zbed4 expression was more restricted to the inner retina. While ZBED4 is localized in cones and endfeet of Müller cells of human retina, in adult mouse retina Zbed4 is only detected in Müller cell endfeet and processes. The same localization of Zbed4 was observed in rat retina. In early development, Zbed4 is mainly present in the nuclear fraction of the mouse retina, and in adulthood it becomes more enriched in the cytoplasmic fraction.ConclusionsThe patterns of spatial and temporal expression of Zbed4 in the mouse retina suggest a possible involvement of this protein in retinal morphogenesis and Müller cell function
Structure of 5-nitro-2-tosylaminobenzaldehyde di(morpholin-4-yl)aminal Complex with Carbon Tetrachloride
The 5-nitro-2-tosylaminobenzaldehyde di(morpholin-4-yl)aminal forms a stable complex with carbon tetrachloride in the crystal phase. X-ray structural study of this complex indicates an essentially shortened intermolecular contact of 2.89 Å between the oxygen atom of the nitro group and one of the chlorine atom of the CCI4 molecule. Quantum-chemical calculations by semiempirical AMI method showed that the formation of such complex did not cause considerable decrease of system energy or change of charge distribution in molecules. It was supposed that this associate has van der Waals character
The job of a professional performing violinist and violin pedagogue today
This thesis explores the diverse career paths available to professional violinists. The topic is particularly relevant to the author, who is approaching a personal career decision. The objective is to provide a comprehensive overview of employment opportunities for violinists, ranging from violin pedagogy to solo performance and entrepreneurship.
The research is based on a variety of written sources, including websites, books, and articles. Additionally, interviews were conducted with professional violin teachers, orchestral musicians, and chamber music performers.
The findings suggest that a career as a violinist or violin teacher is demanding and requires significant self-discipline, physical and mental stamina, and time. Financial instability, stress, and health-related challenges are common in this field. It is very rewarding to be able to do what you love and feel passionate about. Teaching students, witnessing their growth, performing masterpieces of orchestral and chamber music, and connecting with audiences through music are among the many reasons why individuals choose to dedicate their lives to the violin. The link to the recording of the Violin B level exam

WHAT MOTIVATES THE CREATIVITY OF GENERATION Z EMPLOYEES? THE INFLUENCE OF EXTRINSIC AND INCRISTIC MOTIVATING FACTORS ON THE EXAMPLE OF IT SPECIALISTS FROM EU COUNTRIES
Generation Z is entering the labor market. Like the previous generation, Generation Z has its own specific characteristics, values and expectations. This creates new challenges for managers and organizers of work processes in companies. The object of this study is IT professionals belonging to generation Z. Managing of creative employees is in itself, a complex task. Combined with the characteristics of the new generation, this task becomes especially important and difficult. Currently, there is a dearth of research in the academic literature regarding work motivation and work expectations for Generation Z, as this generation is just beginning its work life. This study seeks to clarify these issues. Empirical data for the study was collected through an online survey of Generation Z IT professionals from EU countries. The sample size is 2153 individuals. The study used intrinsic and extrinsic motivation theory and social motivation theory as the theoretical framework. The results of the study show that for IT professionals of generation Z it is primarily important to have a job where their professional skills are valued and conditions for the development of these skills are created, as well as their contribution to labor results is fairly evaluated. For IT professionals of this generation, it is important to work among people who share their values and beliefs, to have time for personal life and the opportunity to participate in socially important projects. Their creativity is enhanced when it is necessary to do a very important job that will bring respect to the team. They are not afraid of losing their jobs and are willing to take risks
ALGORITHM FOR SOLVING THE INVERSE PROBLEMS OF ECONOMIC ANALYSIS IN THE PRESENCE OF LIMITATIONS
The solution of inverse problems is considered taking into account the restrictions using inverse calculations. An algorithm is proposed for solving the inverse problem, taking into account restrictions while minimizing the sum of the absolute values of the changes in the arguments. The problem of determining the increments of the function arguments is presented as a linear programming problem. The algorithm includes solving the inverse problem with the help of inverse calculations while minimizing the sum of the absolute changes in the arguments, checking the correspondence of the obtained arguments to the given restrictions, adjusting the value of the argument if it goes beyond the limits of acceptable values, and changing the varied arguments to achieve the given value of the resulting indicator. The solution of two problems with the additive and mixed dependence between the arguments of the function is considered. It is shown that the solutions obtained in this case are consistent with the result of using an iterative procedure based on changing the resulting value to a small value until a given result is achieved, and the results are compared with solving problems using the MathCad mathematical package. The advantage of the algorithm is a smaller number of iterations compared to the known method, as well as the absence of the need to use coefficients of relative importance. The presented results can be used in management decision support system

POPULATION DIVERSITY MANAGEMENT IN A GLOBAL CITY: POSSIBILITIES AND THREATS (CASES OF SAINT PETERSBURG AND MOSCOW)
The article is devoted to the problem of diversity management in world cities. One of the specific characteristics of these territorial and political entities in the globalizing world is their magnetism for thousands of migrants searching for better quality of life, self-realization, and safety. Historically the cities were population and activities’ concentration centres for long centuries. So, the ethnic and cultural diversity is the long-lasting problem to be solved for keeping peace and continuing development. The diversity management for largest Russian cities – Moscow and Saint Petersburg – is as important as for other global cities of the world
EVALUATION OF FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE THE MOTIVATION OF IT SPECIALISTS IN LATVIA
The present paper in dedicated to the research of factors that influence the motivation of Information Technology (further in the text IT) specialists in Latvia and the significance of these factors in overall motivation. The research contains a theoretical evaluation of approaches to measurement of motivation and presentation of the model of motivation metering. Being an internal individual condition, employees’ motivation is hard to be measured. However, attempts of measuring employees are regularly taken by research groups and individual scholars. As many factors such as gender, generation, profession and origin influence the motivation of the employee, we believe that there is no universal approach. The goal of the research is to evaluate the weight and significance of motivation factors and calculate the overall motivation of IT specialists in contemporary Latvia. The methodology used in the present research includes an evaluation of the theoretical models of measuring an employee’s motivation, suggestion of a mathematical model that is applicable to motivation measurement, conducting a survey of 78 IT specialists in Latvia and the approbation of the model. As the result, the factors that influenced IT specialists in Latvia were estimated, their influence on overall motivation was weighted, the motivation of IT specialists was measured and an analysis of the motivation of IT specialists that belonged to different genders and generations was performed.
