The population of this research is red flesh dragon fruit, while for sample in this research is counted 2250 red flesh dragon fruit gram which taken by Simple Random Sampling. Device Attempt in this research is using complete random device which compiled factorially where there is 2 treatments factor that is first factor ( Addition of Concentration Cittrate 0,35%, 0,40%, 0,45%) and second factor ( Addition of Concentration Pectin 1%, 1,25%, 1,30%) and third restating. While for analysis to use anava two factors and continued by test of Duncan'S of manner indicate that Fhitung > Ftabel 5% meaning that pectin and cittrate have an effect on to quality of red flesh dragon fruit jam \ud

Evaluasi Pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan dengan Pendekatan Saintifik
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pemahaman pembelajaran; (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran; (3) penilaian hasil dan tindak lanjut; (4) kendala-kendala dalam pembelajaran; (5) cara mengatasi kendala dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan dengan pendekatan saintifik di SMP Negeri 8 Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian evaluasi dengan desain model evaluasi countenance stake serta menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods secara sequential exploratory. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pemahaman guru PPKn tentang pendekatan saintifik sangat baik berdasarkan persentase 66,66% pada kategori sangat tinggi; (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik di SMP Negeri 8 Yogyakarta sangat baik berdasarkan persentase 74,92% pada kategori sangat tinggi; (3) pelaksanaan penilaian hasil dan tindak lanjut pembelajaran PPKn di SMP Negeri 8 Yogyakarta dikategorikan sangat baik; berdasarkan persentase 66,66% pada kategori sangat tinggi; (4) kendala pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik tidak banyak ditemukan dalam pelaksanaannya; (5) upaya-upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik sudah baik
Is Human Virtue a Civic Virtue? A Reading of Aristotle's Politics 3.4
Is the virtue of the good citizen the same as the virtue of the good man? Aristotle addresses this in Politics 3.4. His answer is twofold. On the one hand, (the account for Difference) they are not the same both because what the citizen’s virtue is depends on the constitution, on what preserves it, and on the role the citizen plays in it, and because the good citizens in the best constitution cannot all be good men, whereas the good man’s virtue is uniform. On the other hand, (the account for Identity) the two virtues are identical in the good men in the best constitution, in which all are good citizens, each possessing the ability for ruling and for being ruled. This nuanced answer can be seen as Aristotle’s synthesis of a Periclean view (contribution to state blots out personal wrongs) and a Socratic view (no good citizen is without justice). Its nuances reflect the extent to which Aristotle’s conceptions of good citizenship and the best constitution accommodate deviations of what is probable from the human ideal set out in his ethical writings. In the present chapter, I will first address three puzzles regarding the nuances of Aristotle’s answer. Second, I will consider one question about its implication: Does Aristotle’s account for Difference turn out to entail something ultra-Periclean: that no one can simultaneously be a good man and a good citizen in any constitution other than the best? THE INFLUENCE OF THE ENGLISH LEARNING INTEREST TOWARD ENGLISH SPEAKING ABILITY OF THE SECOND YEAR STUDENTS OF SMP 02 PETARUKAN IN 2005/2006 ACADEMIC YEAR
This study is intended to describe the student’s English learning interest and
students speaking ability and to find out whether or not there is a positive and
significant correlation between the students’ English learning interest and the
students’ speaking ability.
The total population of this research is 271 students of the second year
students of SMPN 02 Petarukan in 2005/2006 academic year while the number of
sample is 50. In taking the sample, the writer uses the random sampling technique.
The document is employed to reveal the students speaking ability while the
questionnaire is used to take the data of the students’ English learning interest.
The writer applies Product-moment correlation to measure the validity of the
instrument and reliability of the instrument. Data analysis is calculated by using
descriptive and inferential statistics. The inferential statistics consists of the
normality test, the linearity test and hypothesis test.
The result of the analysis shows that the mean of the indepen dent variable
(the students English learning interest) is 107, 62 and standard deviation is 11, 13.
The students’ English learning interest is categorized into good category.
Meanwhile, the mean of the dependent variable (the students speaking ability) is
7, 56 and standard deviation is 0,907. The students speaking ability is in good
category. The inferential analysis yields the correlation coefficient of the
independent and dependent variable is 0,432. This value is higher than r table at N
50, that is, 0,279. It means that there is a positive and significant correlation
between the students’ English learning interest and the students speaking ability.
The effective contribution of the independent variable to the dependent one is
30%
