Pemeriksaan Kekuatan Tanah Dengan Perkuatan Anyaman Kawat (Studi Kasus : Kawasan Tinoor)
Nuclear safety policy working group recommendations on nuclear propulsion safety for the space exploration initiative
An interagency Nuclear Safety Working Group (NSPWG) was chartered to recommend nuclear safety policy, requirements, and guidelines for the Space Exploration Initiative (SEI) nuclear propulsion program. These recommendations, which are contained in this report, should facilitate the implementation of mission planning and conceptual design studies. The NSPWG has recommended a top-level policy to provide the guiding principles for the development and implementation of the SEI nuclear propulsion safety program. In addition, the NSPWG has reviewed safety issues for nuclear propulsion and recommended top-level safety requirements and guidelines to address these issues. These recommendations should be useful for the development of the program's top-level requirements for safety functions (referred to as Safety Functional Requirements). The safety requirements and guidelines address the following topics: reactor start-up, inadvertent criticality, radiological release and exposure, disposal, entry, safeguards, risk/reliability, operational safety, ground testing, and other considerations

Although the cerebral cortex and the directly connected thalamus are paramount to this particular form of epilepsy, several other parts of the mammalian brain are likely to influence this oscillatory activity. We have recently shown that some of the cerebellar nuclei (CN) neurons, which form the main output of the cerebellum, show synchronized oscillatory activity during episodes of cortical SWDs in two independent mouse models of absence epilepsy [1]. The CN neurons that show this significant correlation with the SWDs are deemed to “participate” in the seizure activity and are therefore used in our current study designed to unravel the potential causes of such oscillatory firing patternsPeer reviewe
Analisa Kelelahan Struktur Pada Sambungan Antar Tiang Pancang Akibat Beban Horisontal
Rapid, ultra low coverage copy number profiling of cell-free DNA as a precision oncology screening strategy.
Current cell-free DNA (cfDNA) next generation sequencing (NGS) precision oncology workflows are typically limited to targeted and/or disease-specific applications. In advanced cancer, disease burden and cfDNA tumor content are often elevated, yielding unique precision oncology opportunities. We sought to demonstrate the utility of a pan-cancer, rapid, inexpensive, whole genome NGS of cfDNA approach (PRINCe) as a precision oncology screening strategy via ultra-low coverage (~0.01x) tumor content determination through genome-wide copy number alteration (CNA) profiling. We applied PRINCe to a retrospective cohort of 124 cfDNA samples from 100 patients with advanced cancers, including 76 men with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC), enabling cfDNA tumor content approximation and actionable focal CNA detection, while facilitating concordance analyses between cfDNA and tissue-based NGS profiles and assessment of cfDNA alteration associations with mCRPC treatment outcomes. Therapeutically relevant focal CNAs were present in 42 (34%) cfDNA samples, including 36 of 93 (39%) mCRPC patient samples harboring AR amplification. PRINCe identified pre-treatment cfDNA CNA profiles facilitating disease monitoring. Combining PRINCe with routine targeted NGS of cfDNA enabled mutation and CNA assessment with coverages tuned to cfDNA tumor content. In mCRPC, genome-wide PRINCe cfDNA and matched tissue CNA profiles showed high concordance (median Pearson correlation = 0.87), and PRINCe detectable AR amplifications predicted reduced time on therapy, independent of therapy type (Kaplan-Meier log-rank test, chi-square = 24.9, p < 0.0001). Our screening approach enables robust, broadly applicable cfDNA-based precision oncology for patients with advanced cancer through scalable identification of therapeutically relevant CNAs and pre-/post-treatment genomic profiles, enabling cfDNA- or tissue-based precision oncology workflow optimization
Relationship Among Self-Esteem, Blame And Guilt, And Sexuality Of Infertile Young Women
This descriptive correlational study purported to ascertain the relationships among self-esteem, blame and guilt, and sexuality of infertile young adult women, and to explore the basis for the study the Roy Adaptation Model (1976) was utilized. The convenience sample was comprised of 31 infertile women with diverse conditions who had undergone medical treatments for at least one year. The Infertility Questionnaire (IFQ) of Bernstein, Potts, and Mattox (1985) and researcher-developed questions were used in data collection to assess adaptation of the women to infertility. Quantitative data were analyzed using Pearson\u27s Product Moment Correlation while content analysis was used to describe the qualitative data. Data were collected at a private infertility clinic for three consecutive weeks. Results of the study supported the three correlational hypotheses. When infertile women experience blame and guilt, self-esteem and sexuality are decreased. Also, as self-esteem is lowered, sexuality is decreased. The main coping strategies used by these women were prayer, hobbies, anger, and crying. Perceived supportiveness of significant others and health care providers was found to decrease emotional distress. Implications for clinical practice and nursing education were suggested, and three recommendations for further research were offered
