Non-zero and CP violation in a model with flavor symmetry
Motivated by recent observations of non-zero from the Daya Bay
and RENO experiments, we propose a renormalizable neutrino model with
discrete symmetry accounting for deviations from the tri-bimaximal mixing
pattern of neutrino mixing matrix indicated by neutrino oscillation data. In
the model, the light neutrino masses can be generated by radiative corrections,
and we show how the light neutrino mass matrix can be diagonalized by the
Pontecorvo-Maki-Nakagawa-Sakata mixing matrix whose entries are determined by
the current neutrino data including the Daya Bay result. We show that the
origin of the deviations from the TBM mixing is non-degeneracy of the neutrino
Yukawa coupling constants, and unremovable CP phases in the neutrino Yukawa
matrix give rise to both low energy CP violation measurable from neutrino

A direct link between neutrinoless double beta decay and leptogenesis in a seesaw model with symmetry
We study how leptogenesis can be implemented in a seesaw model with
flavor symmetry, which leads to the neutrino tri-bimaximal mixing matrix and
degenerate right-handed (RH) neutrino spectrum. Introducing a tiny soft
symmetry breaking term in the RH neutrino mass matrix, we show that the
flavored resonant leptogenesis can be successfully realized, which can lower
the seesaw scale much so as to make it possible to probe in colliders. Even
though such a tiny soft breaking term is essential for leptogenesis, it does
not significantly affect the low energy observables. We also investigate how
the effective light neutrino mass associated with neutrinoless
double beta decay can be predicted along with the neutrino mass hierarchies by
imposing experimental data of low-energy observables. We find a direct link
between leptogenesis and neutrinoless double beta decay characterized by
through a high energy CP phase , which is correlated with
low energy Majorana CP phases. It is shown that our predictions of
for some fixed parameters of high energy physics can be constrained by the

Peningkatan Keterampilan Proses Sains Pada Pembelajaran Biologi Melalui Penerapan Model Bounded Inquiry Lab Pada Peserta Didik Kelas XI MIA 3 SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta

PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS PADA PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL BOUNDED INQUIRY LAB PADA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XI MIA 3 SMA AL ISLAM 1 SURAKARTA. Skripsi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains yang meliputi empat aspek: 1) merumuskan masalah; 2) merumuskan hipotesis; 3) merencanakan percobaan; 4) menerapkan konsep, pada pokok bahasan Sistem Indera melalui penerapan model bounded inquiry lab peserta didik kelas XI MIA 3 SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang berlangsung dalam dua siklus. Target penelitian tercapai yaitu terjadi peningkatan sebesar 20% pada setiap aspek keterampilan proses sains. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas XI MIA 3 SMA AL Islam 1 Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015 yang berjumlah 35. Pengumpulan data menggunakan: 1) teknik non tes (observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi); 2) teknik tes berupa tes keterampilan proses sains. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Validasi data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan setiap aspek keterampilan proses sains pada Pratindakan , Siklus I dan Siklus II secara berurutan yaitu: 1) merumuskan masalah (39,46%; 50%; 82,35%); 2) merumuskan hipotesis (34,05%; 49,12%; 81,48%); 3) merencanakan percobaan (20,54%; 40,59%; 71,37%); 4) menerapkan konsep (36,76%; 38%; 64,75%). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan keterampilan proses sains pada pembelajaran Biologi melalui penerapan model bounded inquiry lab peserta didik kelas XI MIA 3 SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Comments on Baryon Melting in Quark Gluon Plasma with Gluon Condensation
We consider a black hole solution with a non-trivial dilaton from IIB super
gravity which is expected to describe a strongly coupled hot gauge plasma with
non-vanishing gluon condensation present. We construct a rotating and moving
baryon to probe the screening and phases of the plasma. Melting of the baryons
in hot plasma in this background had been studied previously, however, we show
