Open Spin Chains from Determinant Like Operators in ABJM Theory
We study the mixing problem of the determinant like operators in ABJM theory
to two loop order in the scalar sector. The gravity duals of these operators
are open strings attached to the maximal giant graviton, which is a D4-brane
wrapping a inside in our case. The anomalous
dimension matrix of these operators can be regarded as an open spin chain
Hamiltonian. We provide strong evidence of its integrability based on
coordinate Bethe ansatz method and boundary Yang-Baxter equation.Comment: 11 pages, no figures; v2, typos corrected, references added, 11

Retraction: Novel two-stage surgical treatment for Cantrell syndrome complicated by severe pulmonary hypertension: a case report
INTRODUCTION: Cantrell syndrome is a rare syndrome of congenital defects, which can be complicated by severe pulmonary hypertension and left ventricular diverticulum; it has proved difficult to treat in clinical practice. CASE PRESENTATION: A 6-month-old Han Chinese baby girl weighing 3.5kg was diagnosed, using ultrasonography and radiography, as having Cantrell syndrome complicated by severe pulmonary hypertension. For safety, we divided management into two stages. For the first stage, we dealt with the left ventricular diverticulum and pulmonary hypertension. Three months later, we performed diorthosis for an intracardiac malformation. CONCLUSIONS: Cantrell syndrome with pulmonary hypertension may respond well to this novel two-stage operation, which needs more verification via clinical practice
Phosphorous-containing oxygen-deficient cobalt molybdate as an advanced electrode material for supercapacitors
The intrinsically poor electrical conductivity and insufficient number of electrochemically active sites of transition-metal oxides hamper their wide application in high-performance supercapacitors. Herein, we demonstrate an effective strategy of creating phosphorus-containing cobalt molybdate (CoMoO4) with oxygen vacancies (P-CoMoO4-x) on nickel foam for use as a supercapacitor electrode. Experimental analyses and theoretical calculations reveal that the electronic structure of P-CoMoO4-x can be efficiently modulated by incorporating P heteroatoms and O vacancies, thereby simultaneously reducing the energy band gap and increasing electrical conductivity. Moreover, incorporating P into P-CoMoO4-x weakens the Co-O bond energy and induces the low oxidation states of molybdenum species, facilitating surface redox chemistry and improving electrochemical performance. Accordingly, the optimized P-CoMoO4-x electrode exhibits a high specific capacity of 1368 C g−1 at a current density of 2 A g−1, and it retains 95.3% of the initial capacity after 5000 cycles at a high current density of 10 A g−1. An asymmetric supercapacitor assembled with the optimized P-CoMoO4-x as positive electrode and activated carbon as negative electrode delivers a high energy density of 58 W h kg−1 at a power density of 850 W kg−1 as well as achieves excellent cycling lifespan
Discrimination and classification of tobacco wastes by identification and quantification of polyphenols with LC–MS/MS
The chemical composition of polyphenols in tobacco waste was identified by HPLC-PDA–ESI/MS/MS and the contents of chlorogenic acids and rutin in 10 varieties of tobacco wastes were determined by HPLC–UV. The relationships between the contents of active polyphenols and the varieties of tobacco wastes were interpreted by hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA) and principal component analysis (PCA). The results showed that 15 polyphenols were identified in a methanolic extract of dried tobacco waste. The tobacco wastes were characterized by high levels of chlorogenic acids (3-CQA, 5-CQA, and 4-CQA) and rutin; their ranges in the 10 tobacco varieties were 0.116–0.196, 0.686–1.781, 0.094–0.192, and 0.413–0.998 %, respectively. According to multivariate statistics models, two active compound variables can be considered important for the discrimination of the varieties of tobacco wastes: chlorogenic acids and rutin. Consequently, samples of 10 tobacco varieties were characterized into three groups by HCA based on the PCA pattern. In conclusion, tobacco waste could be used as a new pharmaceutical material for the production of natural chlorogenic acids and rutin in the ethnopharmacological industry
Alternating Proximal Point Algorithm with Gradient Descent and Ascent Steps for Convex-Concave Saddle-Point Problems
Inspired by the Optimistic Gradient Ascent-Proximal Point Algorithm (OGAProx)
proposed by Bo{\c{t}}, Csetnek, and Sedlmayer for solving a saddle-point
problem associated with a convex-concave function with a nonsmooth coupling
function and one regularizing function, we introduce the Alternating Proximal
Point Algorithm with Gradient Descent and Ascent Steps for solving a
saddle-point problem associated with a convex-concave function constructed by a
smooth coupling function and two regularizing functions. In this work, we not
only provide weak and linearly convergence of the sequence of iterations and of
the minimax gap function evaluated at the ergodic sequences, similarly to what
Bo{\c{t}} et al.\,did, but also demonstrate the convergence and linearly
convergence of function values evaluated at convex combinations of iterations
under convex and strongly convex assumptions, respectively.Comment: 25 page
