Low power CMOS iImage sensor for face recognition
Imaging system is suitable for different purposes, depending upon their final application. Digital cameras, camcorders, webcams, security cameras or infrared (IR) cameras are well-known imaging systems. For complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensors, its performance is more promising compared to charged coupled device (CCD) due to its low power consumption, low cost, and on chip functionality and compatibility with standard CMOS technology [1]. In face recognition mode, three dimensional cameras replaced two-dimensional images to measure the object size, distance and shape with time-of-flight (TOF) cameras. Depth information can be extracted to be compared with database [2]. Morpho-Physiological Studies On The Digestive Tract Of The Mousedeer (Tragulus Javanicus)
Although the mousedeer ( Tragulus javanicus) is
considered a ruminant , its stomach comprises of three
compartments only namely, rumen , reticulum and abomasum .
Few published work on the digestive system of this animal
are in isolated areas . As it is becoming more important
as a laboratory ruminant model , the present study will
provide additional and more comprehensive in formation on
the animal , particularly on the morpho -physiology of its
digestive tract . This study assists in the comparison of
mousedeer with other ruminants and attempts to classify
it in the most appropriate category of ruminants.
Morphological study and distribution of lingual
papillae showed that the mousedeer has a tongue similar
to that of a pig which is a non - ruminant.However , it is
still considered a ruminant because it has a compound
stomach where the omasum is under developed

ABSTRAKKata kunci : gaya belajar visual berbasis video, hasil belajarPenelitian ini adalah tentang hubungan gaya belajar visual berbasis videodengan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu kelas VIII SMP Negeri9 Banda Aceh. Gaya belajar visual adalah gaya belajar yang lebih menitikberatkanpada ketajaman penglihatan, artinya siswa yang bergaya belajar seperti inimengandalkan penglihatan atau melihat dulu bukti, untuk kemudian bisamempercayainya. Salah satu media yang cocok untuk anak yang bergaya belajarvisual adalah video. Video adalah jenis media yang selain mengandung unsur suarajuga mengandung unsur gambar yang dapat dilihat dan cocok digunakan untukberbagai ilmu pembelajaran. Sementara hasil belajar adalah prestasi belajar yangdicapai siswa dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar dengan membawa suatuperubahan dan pembentukan tingkah laku seseorang. Rumusan masalah dalampenelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat hubungan gaya belajar visual berbasis videodengan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu kelas VIII SMP Negeri9 Banda Aceh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapathubungan gaya belajar visual berbasis video dengan hasil belajar siswa dalam matapelajaran IPS Terpadu kelas VIII SMP Negeri 9 Banda Aceh. Hipotesis dalampenelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara gayabelajar visual berbasis video dengan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPSTerpadu SMP Negeri 9 Banda Aceh. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhansiswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 9 yang diambil secara acak sebanyak 56 siswa.Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dan tes, sedangkan pengolahan datadilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus korelasi serial. Hasil pengolahan datadiperoleh bahwa rch = 0,2823 korelasi tersebut tergolong kedalam korelasi rendah.Selain itu, hasil dari penelitian diperoleh thitung > ttabel atau 2,1624 > 1,684, yangmenunjukkan bahwa data tersebut signifikan yang artinya hipotesis yang diajukanoleh peneliti dapat diterima. Dengan demikian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapathubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara gaya belajar visual berbasis videodengan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu SMP Negeri 9 BandaAceh

This current narrative research review aims to provide a review of measures that assess the principles of mental health literacy among adolescents. Mental health literacy can be defined as the degree to which an individual processes and understands mental health information and is able to seek further treatment (Olsson & Kennedy, 2010) and varies based upon age (Farrera et al., 2008), sex differences and relationships with peers (Burns& Rupee 2006), and attitudes towards mental health (Olsson & Kennedy, 2010). Using PsycINFO to find research to date, findings of the review indicated that for evidence-based programs using mental health literacy, adolescents had a better understanding of mental health literacy post-program, whereas when they were first interviewed through surveys and questionnaires. Additionally, the review indicated that more studies assessing psychometrics of existing measures used to assess mental health literacy among adolescents are warranted. Discussion will center on programs and methodological approaches used to examine mental health literacy among adolescents and the need for implementing more programs promoting mental health literacy within schools.https://scholarscompass.vcu.edu/uresposters/1312/thumbnail.jp

Interactive E-learning in Pharmacology to Enhance Student Competency in Faculty of Medicine UII
Background : E-learning provides an opportunity for students to improve their knowledge by promoting self-directed learning. The aim of this e-learning is to encourage pharmacology active learning among undergraduate students in Faculty of Medicine UII. Objective : The aim of the study is to assess the effectiveness of the e-learning module in pharmacology, and the acceptability and student\u27s perception about the interactive e-learning module in pharmacology. Methods : This was an observational study, conducted on all medical student in Gastrointestinal module (Module 1) and Endocrine module (Module 2). Students were encouraged to register in website. By administrator approval, student can access to quiz. Another menus in the website after quiz are lectures, videos and semi-animated based CAL (computer assisted learning). Learning achievement were assessed based on module exam in pharmacology section. Feedback questionnaire were distributed to all medical student at the end of module. Results : The student\u27s access rate for e-learning module quiz in Module 1 is 100% and 35,48% in Module 2. In Module 1 about 75% questions have DMR value >75%. This value are increased than last year (54,5%) In Module 2, 30% questions have DMR value >75%. This value also increased than last year (0%). All students (100%) stated that e-learning in pharmacology modules are usefull. 78% stated that the website are informative and 74% admitted the material easy to access, 89,02% agreed that e-learning increase student\u27s motivation. Conclusion : Curriculum innovation as e-learning modules considerably was effective enhance student achivement in pharmacology. This innovation also well perceived among the student. This study aimed to analyze the improvement of critical thinking skills Improve mathematical methods to the material system of linear equations of two variables. The method used is the method of quasi-experimental data analysis using different test or the average of the t-test. Population affordable in this study were all students of class VIII A and VIII B grade SMP 248. Samples were obtained through random sampling techniques, namely random sample collection techniques. Testing requirements analysis consists of data from test to test methods Liliefors normality and homogeneity tests to test methods bartlett. Based on the results of the testing requirements of data analysis concluded that the two sets of data were normally distributed and homogeneous. Instrument variable mathematical critical thinking skills is a written test consisting of 20 items about. Based on the results of hypothesis testing and data analysis it can be concluded that the critical thinking skills of students who are taught mathematical improve method is higher than conventional methods.
