Pseudogaps in Underdoped Cuprates
It has become clear in the past several years that the cuprates show many
unusual properties, both in the normal and superconducting states, especially
in the underdoped region. In particular, gap-like behavior is observed in
magnetic properties, c-axis conductivity and photoemission, whereas in-plane
transport properties are only slightly affected by the pseudogap. I shall argue
that these experimental evidences must be viewed in the context of the physics
of a doped Mott insulator and that they support the notion of spin charge
separation. I shall review recent theoretical developments, concentrating on
studies based on the t-J model. I shall describe a model based on quasiparticle
excitations, which predicts the doping dependence of T_c and anomalous
energy-gap-to-T_c ratios. Finally, I shall outline how the model may be derived
from a microscopic formulation of the t-J model. After a brief review of the
U(1) formulation, I shall explain some of the difficulties encountered there,
and how a new SU(2) formulation can resolve some of the difficulties.Comment: 9 pages, 4 figure
Adoption of Free Open Source Geographic Information System Solution for Health Sector in Zanzibar Tanzania

The study aims at developing in-depth understanding on how Open Source Geographic Information System technology is used to provide solutions for data visualization in the health sector of Zanzibar, Tanzania. The study focuses on implementing the health visualization solutions for the purpose of bridging the gap during the transition period from proprietary software to the Free Open-Source Software using Key Indicator Data System. The developed tool facilitates data integration between the two District Health Information Software versions and hence served as a gateway solution during the transition process. Implementation challenges that include outdated spatial data and the reluctance of the key users in coping with the new Geographical Information System technologies were also identified. Participatory action research and interviews were used in understanding the requirements for the new tool to facilitate the smooth system development for better health service delivery.\u
Pelaksanaan Pengajaran Remedial Anak Lamban Belajar (Slow Learner) Di Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri Purworejo Kecamatan Nogosari Kabupaten Boyolali Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017
Persons with disabilities or children with special needs should receive an education service tailored to their respective conditions, talents, interests and abilities. Abnormalities that have children slow learning is the inability to follow teaching and learning activities, experiencing lag far compared with his classmates. Through the provision of remedial teaching is expected to slow children learn to achieve control of the competencies that have been determined. The objectives of the study were to: 1) Describe the implementation of slow child learning remedial (Slow learner); 2) to describe any constraints faced in the implementation of slow child learning remedial (Slow learner); and 3) To describe what efforts are being made to overcome the obstacles that exist in the implementation of Slow learner teaching remedial done by grade V teacher of SD Negeri Purworejo, Nogosari, Boyolali. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive research. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation and documentation. The resource persons in this research are guardian or teacher of class V and children of special learning slow, and principal. Data analysis using interactive model. The results of the research are 1) Implementation of Slow learner's remedial teaching which includes initial activity, core activity and evaluation; 2) The constraints faced in the implementation of the Slow learner's slow teaching (Slow learner) teaching that is the absence of a special RPP for slow learner learning and lack of conducive class; and 3) Efforts are made to overcome the obstacles that exist in implementing the management of the implementation of Slow learner teaching that is the teacher approach, dialogue, curative technique and visit teacher
Penggunaan Media Gambar Seri dalam Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis Cerita Siswa Kelas III SD N 2 Kembang Tahun Ajaran 2017/ 2018
This study aims to improve the skills of writing stories on Indonesian subjects through the media drawing series on students of class III SD N 2 Kembang. The type of this research is PTK, the research subjects are teachers and students. Technique of collecting data by using method of interview, observation and documentation. The results showed an improvement in the students' writing skills after class action was taken using series drawing media. This can be seen from the improvement of writing skill indicator aspect (a) The skill in developing the content of the initial condition story is 20.00%, the first cycle increases to 30.00%, the second cycle increases to 72.50%, (b) %, first cycle increased to 50.00%, second cycle increased to 75.00%, (c) Preferred structure style and vocabulary of initial condition of 25.00%, first cycle increased to 35.00%, second cycle increased to 57.50%, (d) Use grammar, spelling and punctuation in the initial conditions of 40.00%, the first cycle increased to 40.00%, the second cycle increased to 50.00%. Thus it can be seen that the Indonesian language lesson using the drawing media series can improve the writing skills of grade 3 students of SD N 2 Kembang academic year 2017/2018
Penggunaan Alat Peraga Stik Es Krim Sebagai Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Materi Penjumlahan dan Pengurangan Bilangan Bagi Siswa Kelas 1 SD Negeri Pandean 3 Pada Semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018
The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes in learning mathematical material addition and reduction in the odd semester through Ice Cream Sticker Tool. This research is a classroom action research that is done collaboratively between researcher with class 1 teacher, where the subject of this research is the students of class 1 which amounted to 33 students. Technique of collecting data in this research is interview, observation, documentation, test. Data analysis techniques through interactive analysis techniques that include 3 components of data reduction, data presentation, data verification. Data validity using source triangulation. From the research results obtained data there is an increase in student learning outcomes and the process of learning mathematics, it can be seen from the following data: 1) The results of pre-action students 56.42 completeness 30.30 (10 students), cycle I increases with the average value- average 64,24 completeness 60,61 (20 students), and in cycle II increase with grade average to 70,45 complete 87,88% (29 students) with KKM 65. 2) Students active during apperception learning as much as 30% of cycle I increased in cycle II to 51,52%. 3) Student creativity in learning process of cycle I 42,42% increase to 60,61% in cycle II. 4) Enthusiasm student answer about teacher problem 36,36% in cycle I increase to 54,5% in cycle II. By looking at the data increase learning outcomes and learning process can be said that the Use of Ice Cream Sticker Tool Can Improve Learning Outcomes in learning Mathematics
Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Jurnalistik untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis di SDIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta Tahun 2018
This study aims to (1) describe journalistic extracurricular used to increase writing skill at SDIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta, (2) describe obstacles effecting students in journalistic extracurricular, (3)describe solution for solving the obtacles in journalictic extracurricular. This in qualitative study with phenomenology approach. Data collection used are observation, interview, and documentation. Triangulation is also used to correlated data validity. The result of analyzing data consistsof data reduction, conclusion and clarification. The result of analysis conclude that (1)journalistic extracurricularaims to develop potential, talent, interest, and also skill writing activities, (2)low in paying attention, concentration and also following many school activities are kind of obtacles in journalistic excracurricular, (3)the solutions of all the obtaclesare instructors should give more motivation and support toward students of extracurricular to get more achievement and also SDIT Nur Hidayah needs instructor who has journalistic needs instuctor who has journalistic specialization to prepare students in joining Festival dan Lomba Literasi Nasional (FL2N)

Implementation of Character Education Through the Values Exemplary Teachers, Students and Parents in Efforts to Strengthening Primary Students Character
The purpose of this study was to find a model to strengthen character education in an environment with an informal approach in Surakarta Muhammadiyah Elementary Education. The main methods developed in this study is a qualitative descriptive-reflective. Data collection involved observations of active and in-depth interviews with teachers, parents / guardians, and elementary school students. Data were analyzed with snowball technic of analysis models Milles Huberman. This study has several indicators of achievement each year. In the first study, the indicator is expected to map the development of character education through informal approach applied in the Basic Education in Surakarta.Pendidikan character Muhammadiyah expected to not only become an issue that has not been realized in the world of education in primary schools. Mapping will be obtained, among others: (1) an understanding of the character education of primary school teachers, (2) an understanding of elementary school students about character education, (3) understanding of parents / guardians about character education, (4) the proper understanding of character education is taught in elementary school , (5) which has been implemented character education in elementary school. Results of this research can be applied in primary education environment, in accordance with the mission of the study program is organized PGSD service, cooperation and development education elementary school level
