We develop the harmonic space method for conifold and use it to study local complex deformations of TS3T^{\ast}S^{3} preserving manifestly SL(2,C)SL(2,C) isometry. We derive the perturbative manifestly SL(2,C)SL(2,C) invariant partition function Ztop\mathcal{Z}_{top} of topological string B model on locally deformed conifold. Generic nn momentum and winding modes of 2D c=1c=1 non critical theory are described by highest % \upsilon_{(n,0)} and lowest components υ(0,n)\upsilon_{(0,n)} of SL(2,C)SL(2,C) spin s=n2s=\frac{n}{2} multiplets (nk,k))% (\upsilon _{(n-k,k)}) , 0kn0\leq k\leq n and are shown to be naturally captured by harmonic monomials. Isodoublets (n=1n=1) describe uncoupled units of momentum and winding modes and are exactly realized as the SL(2,C)SL(2,C) harmonic variables Uα+U_{\alpha}^{+} and VαV_{\alpha}^{-}. We also derive a dictionary giving the passage from Laurent (Fourier) analysis on TS1T^{\ast}S^{1} (S1S^{1}) to the harmonic method on TS3T^{\ast}S^{3} (S3S^{3}). The manifestly SU(2,C)SU(2,C) covariant correlation functions of the S3S^{3} quantum cosmology model of Gukov-Saraikin-Vafa are also studied.Comment: 91 page

Predicting current and future potential habitat distribution of fig tree (Ficus-Carica) in Morocco using Maxent Modeling

    Get PDF
Climate change scenarios predict that fruit tree production will be impacted mainly by drought and high temperatures. The fig tree is considered as a hardy tree resistant to drought which makes it, in the context of climate change, a good alternative to trees that consume too much water and are very demanding in terms of cold. This work was carried out with the objective of delimiting the areas suitable for the fig tree currently and by 2050 to guide the new plantations of the fig tree. To do this, we used current and future climate data from the Worldclim climate database and the Maxent model based on the maximum entropy principle to map the distribution area of the fig tree in Morocco. The results show that the environmental variables that most impact the distribution of the fig tree in Morocco are the precipitation of the coldest quarter (bio 19) the mean diurnal deviation (bio2) and the isothermality (bio3) and that fig tree area will decrease under the impact of climate change and will be limited to the North of Morocco mainly in the provinces of El Hoceima and Chefchaoun. Efforts to develop this sector must therefore focus on improving production techniques and choosing varieties that are better adapted to future climatic conditions

On the Fairlie's Moyal formulation of M(atrix)- theory

    Get PDF
Starting from the Moyal formulation of M-theory in the large N-limit, we propose to reexamine the associated membrane equations of motion in 10 dimensions formulated in terms of Poisson bracket. Among the results obtained, we rewrite the coupled first order Nahm's equations into a simple form leading in turn to their systematic relation with SU()SU(\infty) Yang Mills equations of motion. The former are interpreted as the vanishing condition of some conserved currents which we propose. We develop also an algebraic analysis in which an ansatz is considered and find an explicit form for the membrane solution of our problem. Typical solutions known in literature can also emerge as special cases of the proposed solutionComment: 16 page

On the harmonic superspace language adapted to the Gelfand-Dickey algebra of differential operators

Methods developed for the analysis of non-linear integrable models are used in the harmonic superspace (HS) framework. These methods, when applied to the HS, can lead to extract more information about the meaning of integrability in non-linear physical problems. Among the results obtained, we give the basic ingredients towards building in the HS language the analogue of the G.D. algebra of pseudo-differential operators. Some useful convention notations and algebraic structures are also introduced to make the use of the harmonic superspace techniques more accessible.Comment: 14 page

Faba bean plays a pivotal role in global nutrition and sustainable agriculture. We evaluated 20 elite lines and five varieties grown during the 2021-2022 dry season. Our investigation encompassed protein content and mineral composition as well as FTIR fingerprints. The evaluated genotypes exhibited significant differences in both protein and mineral contents, except for manganese (p= 0.148).  The variety 'Lobab' (20) and the elite lines 15, 1, 16, 10, and 7 showcased good nutritional resilience, surpassing the 20% protein threshold. Genotype 22 exhibited the highest iron (14.650 ppm) and zinc (26.800 ppm) content, while 'Yasmine' (23) showed the highest magnesium (744.750 ppm) and calcium (231.725 ppm) levels. Genotype 1213 displayed the highest manganese (11.500 ppm) and copper (10.450 ppm) concentrations. Principal Component Analysis identified genotypes 22, 'Lobab', and 'Yasmine' as nutritionally interesting. FTIR-ATR spectroscopy revealed biochemical variations among genotypes, with elite lines 6 and 11 consistently showing higher concentrations of phenyl compounds, polysaccharides, proteins, and lipids. Hierarchical cluster analysis of FTIR data identified three distinct clusters, with genotype 11 forming a unique single-member cluster. High-protein lines, particularly genotypes 1, 16, and 22, demonstrate nutritional resilience under drought stress, making them promising candidates for registration and dissemination, given their reported high yield potential in a previous study. Future research should include trials under both drought-stressed and optimal conditions, as well as controlled environment studies, to precisely quantify drought impacts on nutritional and biochemical parameters
