Is Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction Effective in Decreasing Symptoms of Anxiety for Individuals with Anxiety Disorder?

OBJECTIVE: The objective of this selective EBM review is to determine whether or not “Is mindfulness-based stress reduction effective in decreasing symptoms of anxiety for individuals with anxiety disorder?” STUDY DESIGN: A selective review of three peer-reviewed, randomized control trials published after 2008. DATA SOURCES: All three randomized control trials were published in the English language and were selected from peer-reviewed journals via the PubMed Database based on their relevance to the clinical question posed above and if they included patient-oriented outcomes (POEM). OUTCOMES MEASURED: All articles analyzed the effectiveness of mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) in decreasing symptoms of anxiety in individuals with anxiety disorder. Improved anxiety symptoms were measured as the following: Self-reported anxiety was measured using the 21-item Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), symptoms of anxiety were assessed with the structural interview guided for the HAM-A (Hamilton Anxiety Scale), clinical symptoms and wellbeing were assessed using the Leibowitz Social Anxiety Scale Self-Report and the Social Interaction Anxiety Scale (straightforward items). RESULTS: Hoge et al. found the MBSR to be associated with significant reduction in anxiety as measured by the CGI-S, CGI-I and BAI P\u3c0.0001; J Clin Psychiatry. 2013;74(8):786-792. doi: 10.4088/JCP.12m08083 [doi]. Boettcher et al. revealed that participants in the MBSR group showed a larger decrease of anxiety from pre- to post -assessment than participants of the control group P\u3c0.001; Behav Ther. 2014;45(2):241-253. doi: 10.1016/j.beth.2013.11.003 [doi] CONCLUSION: According to all three articles listed above, MBSR is shown to effectively decrease symptoms of anxiety in individuals with anxiety disorder. Since all three articles lacked blinded participants and made use of numerous patient questionnaires, it shows that concise and well-defined methods of scientific analysis are required in order to fully study the effect of MBSR in reduction of anxiety symptoms

PENGARUH STRUKTUR MODAL, PERTUMBUHAN PERUSAHAAN, DAN PROFITABILITAS TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN PADA PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURA EFEK INDONESIA PERIODE TAHUN 2016-2018

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh struktur modal, pertumbuhan perusahaan, dan profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan. metode penelitian menggunakan analisis statistika deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan simple random sampling. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 67 perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode tahun 2016-2018. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda. Dari hasil penelitian terbukti bahwa secara parsial struktur modal berpengaruh negatif terhadap nilai perusahaan. pertumbuhan perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Serta profitabilitas berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perushaaan. Secara simultan struktur modal, pertumbuhan perusahaan, dan profitabilitas berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Cognitive competencies of TVE students as correlates of entrepreneurial intentions

In the face of the global economic challenges facing countries in the world and considering the fact that Nigeria is in a very critical phase of its development, it is imperative to produce graduates with high entrepreneurial intentions so as to salvage the already comatose economy. The study attempts to ascertain the relationship between cognitive competencies of Technology and Vocational Education (TVE) students and their entrepreneurial intentions. Six hypotheses were tested. The study adopts a survey design and 350 TVE students from tertiary institutions across the South-East region of Nigeria are studied. Purposive sampling method is used in selecting the sample for the study while a structured questionnaire is used for data collection. The instrument for data analyses is the Bivariate Pearson Correlation matrix and the simple linear regression tools. The study found out the creative skills, critical thinking skills and problem solving skills are significantly correlated to entrepreneurial intentions of TVE students

Pengaruh citra tubuh dan perbandingan sosial terhadap harga diri remaja putri di SMK Texmaco Semarang

Harga diri adalah sikap individu dalam mengevaluasi serta menilai positif ataupun negatif kemampuan, keberhasilan serta pencapaian diri berdasarkan hasil interaksi yang dilakukan oleh individu dengan orang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh citra tubuh dan perbandingan sosial terhadap harga diri remaja putri di SMK Texmaco Semarang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode asosiatif kausal. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Texmaco Semarang pada bulan Mei 2023. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswi kelas X SMK Texmaco Semarang. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan teknik probability sampling dengan metode accidental sampling. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 92 subjek siswi yang berada di rentang usia remaja akhir. Skala dalam penelitian ini dibagi menjadi 3, yaitu skala citra tubuh, skala perbandingan sosial, dan skala harga diri. Pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan aplikasi SPSS statistic 26. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini, yaitu uji normalitas, uji linearitas, uji multikolinearitas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji parisal, uji koefisien determinasi, uji analisis regresi linear berganda, dan uji F. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Citra tubuh berpengaruh terhadap harga diri. 2) Perbandingan sosial berpengaruh terhadap harga diri. 3) Citra tubuh dan perbandingan sosial berpengaruh terhadap harga diri. Variabel citra tubuh dan perbandingan sosial berpengaruh secara simultan dan signifikan terhadap variabel harga diri dengan perolehan nilai signifikansi, sig. 0,005 < 0,05. Variabel citra tubuh dan perbandingan sosial memengaruhi variabel harga diri sebesar 11,4% dan sisanya 88,6% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. ABSTRACT: Self-esteem is an individual's attitude in assessing and assessing positive or negative abilities, success and self-promotion based on the results of interactions carried out by individuals with other people. This study aims to empirically examine the effect of body image and social comparison on the self-esteem of young women at Texmaco Vocational School Semarang. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach. The method in this study uses a causal associative method. This research was conducted at SMK Texmaco Semarang in May 2023. The population in this study were all class X students at SMK Texmaco Semarang. Sampling in this study is using probability sampling technique with accidental sampling method. The subjects in this study were 92 female students who were in their late teens. The scale in this study is divided into 3, namely the body image scale, social comparison scale, and self-esteem scale. Data processing in this study used the SPSS 26 statistical application. Data analysis techniques in this study were normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, parisal test, coefficient of determination test, multiple linear regression analysis test, and F test. this study shows that: 1) Body image affects self-esteem. 2) Social comparison affects self-esteem. 3) Body image and social comparison affect self-esteem. Body image and social comparison variables have a simultaneous and significant effect on self-esteem variables with the acquisition of a significance value, sig. 0.005 <0.05. Body image and social comparison variables affect self-esteem variables by 11.4% and the remaining 88.6% are influenced by other variables not examined

Pertumbuhan dan produksi selada merah (Lactuca sativa var. crispa) pada teknik hidroponik yang diberi nutrisi ekstrak azolla dan daun gamal

ABSTRACT  This research aimed to identify the effect of fertilizer type and concentration of AB Mix substitution with fertilizer on growth and yield of red lettuce (Lactuca sativa var. crispa). The research was conducted at Greenhouse of Crops, Horticulture and Plantation Protection Institute, Central Java. The method of this research is Randomized Complete Design Factorial 2 x 5 with 3 replications. First factor is fertilizer type, consist of A1: Azolla extract and A2: gamal leaves esxtract. Second factor is concentration of AB Mix substitution with fertilizer, consist of B0: 0%, B1: 25%, B2: 50%, B3: 75% and B4: 100%. The observed parameters were plant height, number of leaves, root length, crop growth rate, plant yield and plant dry weight. Data were processed by Analysis of Variance and continued by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The result showed that there is interaction effect on plant height and plant yield. The conclusion is treatment of AB Mix substitution with Azolla extract fertilizer 25% and gamal leaves extract fertilizer 25% have same result with treatment without substitution on vegetative growth of red lettuce. Treatment of AB Mix substitution with Azolla extract fertilizer 50% and gamal leaves extract fertilizer 25% have same result with treatment without substitution on yield of red lettuce.Keyword: Azolla, gamal leaves, hydroponic, red lettuce. ABSTRAK  Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh jenis pupuk dan konsentrasi subtitusi AB Mix dengan pupuk terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi selada merah (Lactuca sativa var. crispa). Penelitian dilakukan di Greenhouse Balai Perlindungan Tanaman Pangan, Hortikultura dan Perkebunan, Jawa Tengah. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap pola Faktorial 2 x 5 dengan 3 kali ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah jenis pupuk, yaitu A1: ekstrak Azolla dan A2: esktrak daun gamal. Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi subtitusi AB Mix dengan pupuk, yaitu B0: 0%, B1: 25%, B2: 50%, B3: 75% dan B4: 100%. Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang akar, laju pertumbuhan tanaman, produksi tanaman dan berat kering. Data diolah dengan analisis ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan uji DMRT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi pengaruh interaksi pada parameter tinggi tanaman dan produksi tanaman. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah perlakuan subtitusi AB Mix dengan pupuk ekstrak Azolla 25% dan daun gamal 25% memberikan hasil yang sama dengan perlakuan tanpa subtitusi terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif tanaman selada merah. Perlakuan subtitusi AB Mix dengan pupuk ekstrak Azolla 50% dan subtitusi AB Mix dengan pupuk ekstrak daun gamal 25% memberikan hasil yang sama dengan perlakuan tanpa subtitusi terhadap produksi tanaman selada merah. Kata kunci : Azolla, daun gamal, hidroponik, selada merah.

LAPORAN PRAKTIK KERJA LAPANGAN (PKL)PADA BAGIAN KEUANGAN PT REKAYASA INDUSTRI

Ifi Adfentari (8105163368). Laporan Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) pada PT Rekayasa Industri, Konsentrasi Pendidikan Akuntansi, Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2018. Laporan Praktik Kerja Lapangan ini dibuat sebagai gambaran hasil pekerjaan yang telah dilakukan selama PKL dengan tujuan memenuhi salah atu persyaratan akademik dalam menyelesaikan studi pada Konsentrasi Pendidikan Akuntansi, Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. PT Rekayasa Industri beralamat di Jl. Kalibata Timur I No. 36, Kalibata, Pancoran, Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta. Praktik Kerja Lapangan dilaksanakan selama 1 (satu) bulan yang dimulai sejak tanggal 05 Juli 2018 s.d. 03 Agustus 2018 dengan waktu 5 hari kerja yang dimulai pada hari Senin s,d, Jum’at pukul 08.00 s.d. 17.00 WIB. Kegiatan yang dilakukan praktikan selama PKL adalah Melakukan Verifikasi Pembayaran dan Membuat Realisasi Cash Flow. Tujuan dilaksanakannya PKL adalah untuk meningkatkan wawasan pengetahuan, pengalaman, kemampuan dan keterampilan mahasiswa. Selama melaksanakan PKL, praktikan dibimbing oleh Ibu Retno Dyah Purwitasari selaku Supervisor Bidang Akuntansi. Meskipun dalam pelaksanaan PKL terdapat beberapa kendala yang sering dihadapi, namun kegiatan PKL dapat berjalan dengan lancar serta berhasil cukup baik dan praktikan mendapatkan banyak pengalaman serta ilmu baru terkait hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan Akuntansi Keuangan Lanjutan
