    Gauge mediation in supergravity and gravitino dark matter

    Gravitinos and hidden sector fields often cause a cosmological disaster in supersymmetric models. We find that a model with gravitational gauge mediation solves such a problem quite naturally. The mu-problem is also absent in the model. Moreover, the abundance of gravitinos explains correct amount of dark matter of the universe. The dark matter abundance can be calculated without detailed information on the thermal history of the universe such as the reheating temperature after inflation.Comment: 22 pages, 2 figures, a reference added, version to appear in PR

    A New Inflation Model with Anomaly-mediated Supersymmetry Breaking

    If there are a large number of vacua, multi-inflation may be a more mediocre phenomenon rather than a single inflation. In the multi-inflation scenario, new inflation is most likely the last inflation, since its energy scale is naturally low. Furthermore, it may explain the observed spectral index of the cosmic microwave background radiations. We show, in this letter, that a new inflation model proposed in supergravity accounts for all the present observations assuming anomaly mediation of supersymmetry breaking. As a result, we find that the relic density of the winos is consistent with the observed dark matter density in a wide range of the wino mass, 100 GeV lsim m_{tilde{w}} lsim 2 TeV, albeit for a low reheating temperature T_{R} simeq 10^{6-7},GeV.Comment: 14 pages, 4 figures, the title is correcte

    A 125 GeV Higgs Boson Mass and Gravitino Dark Matter in R-invariant Direct Gauge Mediation

    We discuss the SM-like Higgs boson mass in the MSSM in an R-invariant direct gauge mediation model with the gravitino mass in the O(1) keV range. The gravitino dark matter scenario in this mass range is a good candidate for a slightly warm dark matter. We show that the Higgs boson mass around 125 GeV suggested by the ATLAS and CMS experiments can be easily achieved in the direct gauge mediation model with this gravitino mass range.Comment: 15 pages, 6 figures; v2: section 5 added (version accepted for the publication of PLB
