THE LETTER OF SECURITY COUNCIL ON “NO FLYING ZONE” IN THE POINT OF VIEW OF METHAPORIC ANALYSIS
The purpose of the writer to write this paper is to elaborate the hidden meaning of the letter of
the Security Council number SRes 1970 (2011) Distr. General 26 February 2011 on the non
Flying Zone in Libya. The author`s main idea is to analyze the content of the letter by using the
metaphorical cognitive linguistics and then the letter is analyzed by political discourse:
representation and transformation. Syntax, translation, and truth are the instruments for
analyzing this letter. The focus on the writer is in the content of the letter and some analyses.
The writer`s attention is not in the real condition of reality of the political practice so that the
writer will not be trapped in the assumption without appropriate analyses. The method of this
paper is by categorizing the words in the similar and political discourse. The result of this
analyzing is that no flying zone in the one side Libya has problem on human right, but in the
other side is limiting of he Libya authority as an independent country. The solution of this letter
is a strict monitoring from The United Nation in order the realization of the powerful military
actions can be controlled properly. The author recommendation is to make a neutral
investigation in carrying out this letter from the point of view of discourse analyses for
respecting the human right. The conclusion is that not all parts of the letter are appropriately
suitable for the theory of metaphorical cognitive linguistics and the political discourse
Juice: An SVG Rendering Peer for Java Swing
SVG—a W3C XML standard—is a relatively new language for describing low-level vector drawings. Due to its cross-platform capabilities and support for events, SVG may potentially be used in interactive GUIs/graphical front-ends. However, a complete and full-featured widget set for SVG does not exist at the time of this writing. I have researched and implemented a framework which retargets a complete and mature raster- based widget library—the JFC Swing GUI library—into a vector-based display substrate: SVG. My framework provides SVG with a full-featured widget set, as well as augmenting Swing’s platform coverage. Furthermore, by using bytecode instrumentation techniques, my Swing to SVG bridging framework is transparent to the developers— allowing them to implement their user interfaces in pure Swing
The QCD phase transition in the inhomogeneous Universe
We investigate a new mechanism for the cosmological QCD phase transition:
inhomogeneous nucleation. The primordial temperature fluctuations, measured to
be , are larger than the tiny temperature interval, in
which bubbles would form in the standard picture of homogeneous nucleation.
Thus the bubbles nucleate at cold spots. We find the typical distance between
bubble centers to be a few meters. This exceeds the estimates from homogeneous
nucleation by two orders of magnitude. The resulting baryon inhomogeneities may
affect primordial nucleosynthesis.Comment: Version to appear in Phys. Rev. Lett., 4 pages, 1 figure. Difference
to heterogeneous nucleation emphasized, amplitude of temperature fluctuations
analyzed in more detail, new length scale l_heat introduced, more complicated
geometry of baryon number discussed shortly (relevant for low values of
l_heat
