Medical Care as Factors that Affect Wellbeing of Elderly People
Health care is a high-priority problem to be solved by the society. The paper is focused on social problems of the elderly. Solution of the problems related to the third age people, adaptation of the older generations to new conditions of democratization in Russia, and active involvement in the life of society is one of the main directions of the state policy in the area of social assistance. This implies, according to the authors, the adequate provision of health care for the elderly with due regard to their age, residence, and income level. The statistics on the number of health care visits by elderly patients in different regions of Russian has been provided in terms of morbidity, hospitalization, and clinical supervision. Furthermore, the paper emphasizes that health care involves the provision of a wide spectrum of services for the elderly due to the effective state social policy and respect for old age
Social Responsibility of Business
The subject of the research is the social responsibility management system, its importance and impact on business. The object of the study is an integrated management system of an organization. The purpose of the study is to develop a system of social responsibility management in compliance with the requirements of MS SA 8000 in the organization. The methods and materials used to conduct the investigation were as follows: analysis of information sources, content analysis and design of the internal documentation, and staff interviewing. The expected results are: realization of the main stage when implementing the management system in the organization
Innovative computer technologies as an implementer of active methods of training
Introduction of computer means in high schools is dictated by innovative processes in education. One of the latest innovations is Moodle, an open source web-based platform that provides a virtual learningenvironment. The article describes the arrangement of students' learning at the technical university with thehelp of didactic materials placed on the Moodle platform. The experimental work has shown that theorganization of learning by means of the virtual learning environment had a positive effect on the level oftraining of first-year students. The survey conducted after the experiment completion allowed us to revealthe difficulties that students experienced during the work in the electronic environment, and, therefore, toplan the ways of their elimination
Development of the Production Process Model Based on the Controllable Input Factors
The research aims to study noncompliances in the production process, defects in chipboard manufacturing and the related costs. The influence of production process parameters on the parameters of finished products and correlation dependence of considered parameters have been shown. The mathematical model of the multiple-factor production process has been developed
Study of types of defects in wood chipboard production
Types of defects in wood chipboard production and losses connected with the defects were studied. Faulty products were studied by statistical methods of control; analysis of causes of faulty products at wood chipboards production was carried out. Economical appraisal of losses according to peculiarities of production was given
Control System of Parameters of the Azimuthal Module
Analytical and experimental studies of the azimuthal module of two-component vibrational micromechanical gyroscope were conducted. It is shown that the micromechanical gyroscope is a system with distributed parameters. The frequency analysis is performed using software T-Flex. The influence of mechanical disturbances on the movement of azimuthal module in the form of translational and angular oscillations is shown; the natural frequencies of the azimuth are defined
Wellbeing of foreign students enrolled in Russian universities: trends in development
The transformation of international relations, economics, scientific views, and technologies of production and communication implies the processes of involvement and social and academic integration. Introduction of new international standards for Russian higher education and establishment of the federal project 5/100/2020 to boost the global competitiveness of Russian universities in order to break into the top 100 in the World University Rankings (THE, QS and ARWU) affect the reputation of universities. The paper reports on the place of Russia in the global market for education services, primarily of tertiary level, and on changes in the training of foreigners over the last twenty years. The key indicators of training of foreign students in Russia affecting the position of Russian universities in global rankings have been considered. The paper presents statistical data on the number of quotas for admission of foreigners to study in Russian universities at the expense of the Russian budget and satisfaction of foreign students with living conditions
Developing a Medical Institution Management System through Promoting Social Accountability
The paper regards the implementation of social accountability principles into the system of medical institution management as the target of research. The process of personnel management is viewed as its research subject. The paper aims to develop the system of incentives for medical institution personnel based on the principles of social accountability. The research methods and tools applied in the study are analysis of content and internal enterprise documentation, staff member interviews and statistical methods of data processing. The expected research outcome is the implementation phase of the social accountability management system resulted in the development of the Code of corporate conduct. The article advocates the view, that the Code of Conduct should be based on the diagnosis of the state of corporate culture and motivate employees of the organization. The management team of medical institution can set their own social and reasonable quality management system, which will enable it to promote and involve staff in the process of improvement
Optimization of the Stabilization System for Electromagnetic Suspension in Active Vibration Isolation Devices
The research aims to study the vibration isolation device using the elastic forces of the electromagnetic suspension. The optimum gain values of the signal feedback circuit, which minimize the impact of noise introduced by the elements of the active vibration isolation device, are determined. The possibility of developing the vibration isolation device with the control circuit coefficients found on the boundary of the stability region is considered. The paper provides the amplitude-frequency characteristics of a single-mass electromagnetic suspension
Underlying Surface Remote Sensing by the Microwave Radiometer with High Measurement Rate
The paper describes a new approach to microwave radiometer design. The approach implies simultaneous using both modified zero measurement method and multi-receiver technique. Simultaneous using increases the operating characteristics of airborne microwave radiometers for aircrafts with self-contained power supply. The block diagram of the onboard Earth remote sensing microwave radiometric system is presented. The block diagram and operating timing diagrams of the designed radiometer are shown. An original technique to design a fiducial noise source for transfer characteristics is discussed. The advantages of the designed radiometer in comparison with the state of the art zero-type microwave radiometer are described
