Целью статьи является изучение методик анализа метафорических единиц в художественном дискурсе. Автор дает обобщенную характеристику пяти моделям российских и зарубежных авторов. Выделяются и описываются примеры из англоязычных интерпретаций романа Л. Н. Толстого «Война и мир» согласно рассмотренным моделям.The main aim of the article is to investigate the aspect of the existing methods dealing with the analysis of metaphoric units in fiction. The author views five different models suggested by Russian and foreign linguists. Metaphoric units from English interpretations of «Anna Karenina» by Leo Tolstoy are plucked out and shed light on according to the models in question

The affine invariant partition of the set of quadratic systems with one finite singular point of the 4th multiplicity with respect to different topological classes is accomplished. The conditions corresponding to this partition are semi-algebraic, i.e. they are expressed as equalities or inequalities between polynomials
