Orbits of crystallographic embedding of non-crystallographic groups and applications to virology
The architecture of infinite structures with non-crystallographic symmetries can be modelled via aperiodic tilings, but a systematic construction method for finite structures with non-crystallographic symmetry at different radial levels is still lacking. This paper presents a group theoretical method for the construction of finite nested point sets with non-crystallographic symmetry. Akin to the construction of quasicrystals, a non-crystallographic group G is embedded into the point group of a higher-dimensional lattice and the chains of all G-containing subgroups are constructed. The orbits of lattice points under such subgroups are determined, and it is shown that their projection into a lower-dimensional G-invariant subspace consists of nested point sets with G-symmetry at each radial level. The number of different radial levels is bounded by the index of G in the subgroup of . In the case of icosahedral symmetry, all subgroup chains are determined explicitly and it is illustrated that these point sets in projection provide blueprints that approximate the organization of simple viral capsids, encoding information on the structural organization of capsid proteins and the genomic material collectively, based on two case studies. Contrary to the affine extensions previously introduced, these orbits endow virus architecture with an underlying finite group structure, which lends itself better to the modelling of dynamic properties than its infinite-dimensional counterpart
Perturbed geodesics on the moduli space of flat connections and Yang-Mills theory
If we consider the moduli space of flat connections of a non trivial principal SO(3)-bundle over a surface, then we can define a map from the set of perturbed closed geodesics, below a given energy level, into families of perturbed Yang-Mills connections depending on a parameter . In this paper we show that this map is a bijection and maps perturbed geodesics into perturbed Yang-Mills connections with the same Morse inde
Narcotics are substances or drugs derived from plants or no plants either synthetic or semi-synthetic which will cause changes in consciousness, reducing to relieve pain and can lead to dependence (addiction). The negative impact that can be caused is Desperan narcotics, stimulants, Hallucinogens. BNN’ s data on drug offenses in Bali from 2007 to 2011 shows that existing 3719 cases of abuse of Narcotics. National Narcotics Agency (BNN) is a government agency that is devoted Act - legislation to implement eradication and abuse and illicit narcotics. National Narcotics Agency Bali has a vision: Together realize the "Drug-Free Indonesia", and has a mission: to prevent and combat drug abuse and illicit trafficking in a comprehensive and synergistic. It is therefore in danger of Narcotics Campaign Dock so need to create a design of communication media. The design aims to obtain effective visual communication media, communicative and appropriate design criteria to complement the campaign.
Through the research methods, data obtained from the observations, interviews, literature and documentation in the BNN province of Bali adjusted returns with promotion strategies. The theory used in this study is the theory of the psychology of communication and adolescent Psiklogi. Then processed through a qualitative descriptive analysis and synthesis to obtain the basic design concept.
The spirit of Freedom "is the basic concept used in the design process relevant visual communication for Narcotics Hazard's promotional campaign. The concept is in line with the target audiancenya that teens, where teens often become victims abuse of Narcotics. In the design process, defined media are right for the Folder, Interactive Media, Posters, Leaflets, Flyers, X - Banner, Paper bag, T-shirts, Stickers and catalogs.

Self-Supervised Intrinsic Image Decomposition
Intrinsic decomposition from a single image is a highly challenging task, due
to its inherent ambiguity and the scarcity of training data. In contrast to
traditional fully supervised learning approaches, in this paper we propose
learning intrinsic image decomposition by explaining the input image. Our
model, the Rendered Intrinsics Network (RIN), joins together an image
decomposition pipeline, which predicts reflectance, shape, and lighting
conditions given a single image, with a recombination function, a learned
shading model used to recompose the original input based off of intrinsic image
predictions. Our network can then use unsupervised reconstruction error as an
additional signal to improve its intermediate representations. This allows
large-scale unlabeled data to be useful during training, and also enables
transferring learned knowledge to images of unseen object categories, lighting
conditions, and shapes. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method
performs well on both intrinsic image decomposition and knowledge transfer.Comment: NIPS 2017 camera-ready version, project page:

Phase diagrams of half-filled 1D and 2D extended Hubbard model within COM
The half-filled extended Hubbard model, in one and two dimensions, is studied
by means of the 2-pole approximation within the Composite Operator Method with
the aim at improving the possibilities to describe some of the experimental
features observed for quasi-1D organic superconductors and Cu-O planes of
cuprates. The phase diagrams (- and -) are analyzed with respect to
the paramagnetic metal - paramagnetic insulator - charge ordered phase
transitions. The relevant features of the diagrams (rank of the phase
transitions, critical points, reentrant behavior) are discussed in detail
