The aculeate Hymenoptera in the collection of the Institute of Zoology of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, Baku. Part 4. Wasps of the family Vespidae (Hymenoptera: Vespoidea)

Wasps of the family Vespidae in the collection of the Institute of Zoology of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (Baku) are represented by 28 genera and 59 species, nine of them, Ancistrocerus dusmetiolus, Odynerus (Spinicoxa) reniformis, Pseudepipona (Pseudepipona) lativentris, Polistes (Polistes) bischoffi, P.  (P.) dominula, P.  (P.) semenowi, Dolichovespula media, D. sylvestris and Vespula vulgaris, are new to the fauna of Azerbaijan. A total of 57 species are reported from Azerbaijan, eight from Russia (mainly from Itum-Kale in Chechen Republic and Botlikh in Dagestan; several deposited specimens were collected in Ural, Crimea, Vologda and Leningrad regions), three from Ukraine, two each from Turkmenistan, Iran and Kazakhstan, and one each from Georgia and Uzbekistan. The bees of the genus Nomada Scopoli, 1770 in the collection of Institute Zoology, NAS of Azerbajan are represented by 70 species, 20 of them being new to Azerbaijan and 24 to the fauna of the Caucasus. In total, 65 species are reported from Azerbaijan, 13 from Armenia, 2 from Russia, 1 from Uzbekistan and 1 from Tadzhikista

Faunistic review of the genus Ceratina Latreille, 1802 (10 spesies) and the genus Xylocopa Latreille, 1802 (5 spesies) from Azerbaijan is presented. Ceratina cucurbitina (Rossi, 1792), C. nigrolabiata Friese, 1806, C. nigroaenea Gerstaecker, 1869 and Xylocopa olivieri Lepeletier, 1841 are recorded to the fauna of Transcaucasia for the first time

The fauna and ecology of bees of the family Megachilidae (Hymenoptera: Apoidea) in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan

Fifty nine species of Megachilidae from 17 genera and 5 tribes are distributed in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (Azerbaijan). Information about general distribution, landscape-biotopical habitats and trophic relationships is given. Eighteen species are recorded for Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for the first time: Eoanthidium clypeare Morawitz, 1873, Rhodanthidium septemdentatum (Latreille, 1809), Stelis jugae Noskiewicz, 1962, Stelis odontopyga Noskiewicz, 1926, Trachusa interrupta (Fabricius, 1781), Aglaoapis tridentata (Nylander, 1848), Coelioxys echinata Förster, 1853, Megachile desertorum (Morawitz, 1875), Megachile albisecta (Klug, 1817), Megachile concinna Smith, 1879, Megachile versicolor Smith, 1854, Chelostoma grande Nylander, 1852, Chelostoma mocsaryi Schletterer, 1889, Chelostoma proximum Schetterer, 1889, Heriades crenulata Nylander, 1856, Hoplitis leucomelana (Kirby, 1802), Hoplitis jakovlevi Radoszkowski, 1874, Hoplosmia bidentata Morawitz, 1876

Towards the knowledge of the bee fauna of the family Halictidae (Hymenoptera: Apoidea) of Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan

Bees of the family Halictidae Latreille, 1802 of the fauna of Nakhichevan AR, Azerbaijan, are represented by 54 species, among which 2 are new to the fauna of Nakhichevan AR: (Lasioglossum niveocinctum (Blüthgen, 1923), Lasioglossum albipes (Fabricius, 1781), 3 are new to the fauna of Azerbaijan (Halictus rubicundus (Christ, 1791), Sphecodes ferruginatus Hagens, 1882, Vestitohalictus mucoreus (Eversmann, 1852)) and 8 are new to the fauna of the Caucasus: (Nomia femoralis (Pallas, 1773), Lasioglossum sexmaculatum (Schenck, 1853), Lasioglossum vagans (Smith, 1857), Lasioglossum lebedevi Ebmer, 1972, Evylaeus brevicorne (Schenck, 1868), Evylaeus mandibularis Morawitz, 1866, Seladonia semitectus (Morawitz, 1873), Seladonia seladonius (Fabricius, 1794)). Brief bionomic and ecological data are given for all 54 species
