    An Analytical Method for Crack Detection of Beams with Uncertain Boundary Conditions by a Concentrated Test Mass

    The aim of this study is to introduce a method for crack detection and simultaneously assessing boundary conditions in beams. This study suggests a method based on the effect of a concentrated test mass on the natural frequency that is defined as a stationary mass, which can be located in different positions of the beam and cannot be separated from the beam. Timoshenko beam theory is used to calculate the frequencies. In this method, a beam with the desired number of cracks is modeled. The beam is divided into separated parts at crack section which are joined together by elastic weightless torsion springs, to avoid non-linearity effects, it is assumed that the crack is always open. At the first step, equations for a cracked beam are extracted by considering the spring boundary conditions. Then, to verify the equations, numerical finite element model is used. In this way, a new method is also applied to model the torsion springs in supports and it is shown that suggested model is acceptable. Eventually, the obtained responses are evaluated and the sources of errors are identified. To correct the existing errors, a modifying function is suggested. Finally, the inverse problem is solved

    In this paper, we have introduced improvement Robustness method for facerecognition, which combine of the low-rank with collaborative representation. Theapplications of this model are based on the truth that proposed method can effectively dealwith the face recognition across different illumination and occlusion, as well as the nature ofcorrupted and occluded regions. The method is able to be applied directly on original faceimage neither does it require feature selection, nor does it need many training samples.Experiments have been performed on various benchmark face database.     Hubungan perkembangan nilai agama dan moral dengan perilaku sosial anak usia dini: Penelitian di RA PERSIS 235 Nasrullah Ujungberung Bandung

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi perilaku sosial 10 anak di kelompok B RA PERSIS 235 Nasrullah Ujung Berung Bandung yang belum berkembang dengan baik. Hal ini ditandai dengan perilaku beberapa anak sehari-hari yang belum mencapai standar tingkat pencapaian perkembangan anak seperti tidak mau bergiliran saat bermain, ingin menang sendiri, dan tidak mengikuti aturan permainan. Perilaku tersebut tidak sesuai dengan perkembangan nilai agama dan moral anak yang telah dicapai dengan baik. Semestinya jika perkembangan nilai agama dan moral anak baik maka perilaku sosialnya akan baik pula. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) Realitas perkembangan nilai agama dan moral anak kelompok B RA PERSIS 235 Nasrullah Ujung Berung Bandung. 2) Realitas perilaku sosial anak kelompok B RA PERSIS 235 Nasrullah Ujung Berung Bandung. 3) Realitas hubungan perkembangan nilai agama dan moral dengan perilaku sosial anak kelompok B RA PERSIS 235 Nasrullah Ujung Berung Bandung. Penelitian ini bertolak pada pemikiran bahwa perilaku sosial anak dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan nilai agama dan moral. Apabila perkembangan nilai agama dan moral anak baik, maka diperkirakan perilaku sosial anakpun baik. Adapun hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara perkembangan nilai agama dan moral dengan perilaku sosial anak kelompok B RA PERSIS 235 Nasrullah Ujung Berung Bandung. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitik dan menggunakan teknik korelasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B RA PERSIS 235 Nasrullah Ujung Berung Bandung Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 28 anak. Sedangkan objek penelitiannya adalah perkembangan nilai agama dan moral dan perilaku sosial anak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang peneliti gunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan perkembangan nilai agama dan moral anak kelompok B RA PERSIS 235 Nasrullah Ujungberung Bandung berada pada kategori tinggi dengan perolehan nilai 3,77 yang berada pada interval 3,40 – 4,19. Perilaku sosial anak kelompok B RA PERSIS 235 Nasrullah Ujungberung Bandung berada pada kategori tinggi dengan perolehan nilai 3,5 yang berada pada interval 3,40 – 4,19. Perkembangan nilai agama dan moral dengan perilaku sosial kelompok B RA PERSIS 235 Nasrullah Ujungberung Bandung memiliki hubungan yang sangat tinggi yang ditandai dengan perolehan koefisien korelasi 0,83 yang berada pada koefisien korelasi 0,800-1,000

    Symbol Error Rate Performance Analysis of Decode and Forward Cooperative Communication System

    In this paper, we investigate the performance of Decode and Forward (DF) in multiple relay networks. We consider a cooperative diversity system where a source sends information to the destination with the aid of multi relay working in DF relaying protocol and investigate the Optimal Power Allocation (OPA) at both the source and the relay nodes. By taking advantage of the moment generating function (MGF), a closed form expression for the symbol error rate (SER) and signal to noise ratio (SNR) for both, M-Phase Shift Keying (MPSK) and M-Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (MQAM) signals has been derived to illustrate the asymptotic performance of the DF system where the approximation SER is tight at high SNR. Results show that the proposed system, based on SER lower bound is tight to the theoretical SER upper bound, and the suggested OPA outperforms the equal power allocation (EPA) and at different number of relays. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v15i1.803
