Muon-proton Colliders: Leptoquarks, Contact Interactions and Extra Dimensions
We discuss the physics potential of the collider; especially,
leptoquarks, leptogluons, R-parity violating squarks, contact interactions, and
large extra dimensions. We calculate the sensitivity reach for these new
physics at colliders of various energies and luminosities.Comment: 8 pages. Talk at the MuMu99, San Francisco C
Pentaquark Theta+, constituent quark structures, and prediction of charmed Theta(c)^0 and bottomed Theta(b)^+
The newly observed resonance is believed to be a pentaquark with
the constituent quarks . There are a few options for the
constituent quark structure. Some advocate diquark-diquark-antiquark
-- while others favor diquark-triquark -.
We use the color-spin hyperfine interaction to examine the energy levels of
these structures, and we find that the diquark-diquark-antiquark structure is
slight favored. We proceed to write down the flavor triplet and antisextet of
the charmed or bottomed exotic baryons with internal quarks. We
also estimate the mass of and .Comment: Revtex 4, 7 pages, the published version, one reference is correcte
Embed Zee Neutrino Mass Model into SUSY
In this talk, I summarize a work done in collaboration with Otto Kong on the
Zee neutrino mass model. We show that the MSSM with explicit R-parity violation
actually contains the Zee model with the right-handed sleptons as the Zee
singlet. We determine the conditions on the parameter space such that the
neutrino mass matrix provides a viable texture that explains the atmospheric
and solar data.Comment: 11 pages, invited talk given at 5th International Workshop on
