Slicing of Web Applications Using Source Code Analysis

    Get PDF
Program slicing revealed a useful way to limit the search of software defects during debugging and to better understand the decomposition of the application into computations. The web application is very widely used for spreading business throughout the world. To meet the desire of the customers, web applications should have more quality and robustness. Slicing, in the ?eld of web application, helps disclosing relevant information and understanding the internal system structure. This in turn helps in debugging, testing and in improving the program comprehensibility. The system dependence graph is an appropriate data structure for slice computation, in that it explicitly represents all dependencies that have to be taken into account in slice determination. We have extended the system dependence graph to Web-Application Dependence Graph (WADG). We have developed a partial tool for automatic generation of the WADG and computation of slices. In our literature survey, we found that most of the automatic graph generation tools are byte-code based. But, our tool uses the dependency analysis from the source code of the given program. We have presented three case studies by taking open source web programs and applying our techniques and slicing algorithm. We have found that the slices computed is correct and precise, which will be help full for program debugging and testing. Construction of the system dependence graph for Web applications is complicated by the presence of dynamic code. In fact, a Web application builds the HTML code to be transmitted to the browser at run time. Knowledge of such code is essential for slicing

Changing Dynamics of Constitutionalism: South Asia's Tryst with Constitution

    Get PDF
The prevailing view of the constitutional framework in South Asia is seen as secondary and subsidiary to developed constitutional systems worldwide. Meanwhile, South Asian countries have merely re-produced the constitutional framework of developed nations. The emergence and development of South Asian constitutionalism present a range of perspectives and methodological approaches that contribute to comparative constitutional law scholarship in South Asia. The overt attention toward the Western notion of liberalism has often led to an incomplete and unclear approach to South Asian constitutionalism. The paper aimed to explore the elements of South Asian constitutionalism alongside underlying socio-economic and political discourse surrounding its contemporary understanding. It also analyzed the role of courts in affirming and transforming South Asian constitutionalism. Instead of reviving interest in South Asia and Third World Approach to International Law, this paper showed that it is only practical and pragmatic to study constitutionalism with specific reference to the modern discourse of democracy, judicial review, separation of power, and human rights enshrined in their respective constitutions. In terms of its emergence from the colonial history and other prevalent forms of distinct cultural, social, and political practices, South Asia presented a heterogeneous experience in the light of recognition and enforcement of socio-economic rights and transformations and deviations from its past experiences. Existential Love: Romance in single-player RPGs

    Get PDF
The impact of romantic interactions within the game world varies significantly, especially in RPGs due to their intricately detailed worlds. Unlike linear games where romance unfolds passively through cutscenes, exerting minimal influence within game world, RPGs that offer high player agency create an immersive virtual environment that resonates with existential tenets. The choices made by players in terms of romance can have significant repercussions, haunting the player throughout the game. These games often feature complex and realistic love mechanics, offering a diverse range of experiences akin to real life, including inclusivity and infidelity. Many modern RPGs offer path-specific romance options, acknowledging that not all characters will be equally charismatic to every player as individuals have varied dispositions. Video games with high agency allow players to exercise authenticity and make decisions that align with their individuality. This article explores how these variables manifest in the context of romance in single-player RPGs

Analysis & Numerical Simulation of Indian Food Image Classification Using Convolutional Neural Network

Recognition of Indian food can be assumed to be a fine-grained visual task owing to recognition property of various food classes. It is therefore important to provide an optimized approach to segmentation and classification for different applications based on food recognition. Food computation mainly utilizes a computer science approach which needs food data from various data outlets like real-time images, social flat-forms, food journaling, food datasets etc, for different modalities. In order to consider Indian food images for a number of applications we need a proper analysis of food images with state-of-art-techniques. The appropriate segmentation and classification methods are required to forecast the relevant and upgraded analysis. As accurate segmentation lead to proper recognition and identification, in essence we have considered segmentation of food items from images. Considering the basic convolution neural network (CNN) model, there are edge and shape constraints that influence the outcome of segmentation on the edge side. Approaches that can solve the problem of edges need to be developed; an edge-adaptive As we have solved the problem of food segmentation with CNN, we also have difficulty in classifying food, which has been an important area for various types of applications. Food analysis is the primary component of health-related applications and is needed in our day to day life. It has the proficiency to directly predict the score function from image pixels, input layer to produce the tensor outputs and convolution layer is used for self- learning kernel through back-propagation. In this method, feature extraction and Max-Pooling is considered with multiple layers, and outputs are obtained using softmax functionality. The proposed implementation tests 92.89% accuracy by considering some data from yummly dataset and by own prepared dataset. Consequently, it is seen that some more improvement is needed in food image classification. We therefore consider the segmented feature of EA-CNN and concatenated it with the feature of our custom Inception-V3 to provide an optimized classification. It enhances the capacity of important features for further classification process. In extension we have considered south Indian food classes, with our own collected food image dataset and got 96.27% accuracy. The obtained accuracy for the considered dataset is very well in comparison with our foregoing method and state-of-the-art techniques.

    Posterior Lenticonus

A 15-year-old male, reported to us with a history of painless, progressive diminition of vision in his left eye for the past few years. There was no other significant history. His best corrected visual aquity was 6/18 in his left eye and 6/6 in the right eye. Colour vision, intraocular pressure, fundus, B scan and ocular movements were within normal limits. Slit lamp examination revealed a posterior lenticonus(figure 1) in his left eye with early cataractous changes. His systemic workup was normal. He has been planned for cataract extraction with posterior chamber intraocular implantationts, but the possibility of ambylopia in the left eye was explained to the patient and his parents in detail

An economical approach of structural strength monitoring utilizing internet of things

In the current environment, structural health monitoring (SHM), has become increasingly important. The cost of sensors and connectivity has significantly decreased, allowing for remote data gathering for critical analysis and structure monitoring. This allows for the assessment and improvement of the structures' residual lifespan. The internet of things (IoT) is a network of intelligent sensors that combines the identification and detection followed by sending the different structural responses to remote computers for further analysis i.e., processing and monitoring. In this work, an integrated IoT platform for damage detection is proposed which includes an Arduino, Wi-Fi module, and sensors. The sensors gather responses from the host structure which follows a precise mathematical model is introduced to determine and measure the structural damage in comparison to the reactions of the structural member that is in good health. To determine the degree of damage, the responses recorded from the damaged and healthy beams are analyzed using the cross-correlation (CC) damage index. Moreover, the analysis carried out reveals the CC values are uploaded to the cloud, where, if the CC value is over the threshold limit, a mobile warning message is delivered

When Eagle Stares into The Eye

Retinal pigment epithelial detachment (PED) is the separation of the retinal pigment epithelium(RPE) from the Bruch’s membrane(BM). Eagle syndrome(ES) is characterized by an abnormally elongated styloid process with/without abnormal direction and/or ossification of the styloid ligament. Presence of both the above entities together is a rarest of rare sight. It may be a coincidence, or the diseases may have an association. Hence, further studies are warranted
