D-mesons and charmonium states in hot isospin asymmetric strange hadronic matter
We study the properties of and mesons in hot isospin asymmetric
strange hadronic matter, arising due to their interactions with the hadrons in
the hyperonic medium. The interactions of and mesons with these
light hadrons are derived by generalizing the chiral SU(3) model used for the
study of hyperonic matter to SU(4). We also study the mass modifications of the
charmonium states , and in the isospin
asymmetric strange hadronic matter at finite temperatures and investigate the
possibility of the decay of the charmonium states into pairs in the
hot hadronic medium. The mass modifications of these charmonium states arise
due to their interaction with the gluon condensates of QCD, simulated by a
scalar dilaton field introduced to incorporate the broken scale invariance of
QCD within the effective chiral model. We also compute the partial decay widths
of the charmonium states to the pairs in the hadronic medium. The
strong dependence on density of the in-medium properties of the ,
and the charmonium states, as well as the partial decay widths of charmonium
states to pairs, found in the present investigation, will be of
direct relevance in observables like open charm enhancement as well as
suppression in the compressed baryonic matter (CBM) experiments at the future
Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research, GSI, where the baryonic matter at
high densities is planned to be produced.Comment: Accepted for publication in Eur.Phys.Jour. A. Substantially more work
has been done and the manuscript has been modified with addition of a new
section and new figure
Does the Emotional Labor of the Service Employee Affect the Self-concept of the Consumer in Service Organization?
In service interactions the management of service employee’s emotion through emotional labor has gained prominence and is becoming an active method to affect consumer’s behavior. Several researches have indicated that self-concept of the consumer affects their buying behavior. However there is not much research to evaluate the effect of emotional labor of the service employee on the self-concept of the consumer. Based on review of literature, this paper tries to answer whether emotional labor of the service employee affects the self-concept of the consumer.
CONSTITUENT DIMENSIONS OF CUSTOMER SATISFACTION: A STUDY OF NATIONALISED AND PRIVATE BANKS
Satisfaction of the customers is invaluable asset for the modern organizations, providing unmatched competitive edge. It helps in building long-term relationship as well as brand equity. The best approach to customer retention is to deliver high level of customer satisfaction that result in, strong customer loyalty. Satisfaction being a judgment, that a product or service feature or the product or service itself, provides a pleasurable level of consumption related fulfillment, is dynamic in nature. It is the result of interplay of a number of factors, which vary from one product/service category to another. Present study is aimed at exploring the determinant factors and hence developing dimensions of customer satisfaction for nationalized and private banks. Two-stage factor analysis was computed to arrive at the dimensions of customer satisfaction. The study revealed ten factors and five dimensions of customer satisfaction for nationalized and private banks respectively.customer satisfaction, private amd public banks.
Genesis of Altmetrics or Article-level Metrics for Measuring Efficacy of Scholarly Communications: Current Perspectives
The article-level metrics (ALMs) or altmetrics becomes a new trendsetter in
recent times for measuring the impact of scientific publications and their
social outreach to intended audiences. The popular social networks such as
Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin and social bookmarks such as Mendeley and
CiteULike are nowadays widely used for communicating research to larger
transnational audiences. In 2012, the San Francisco Declaration on Research
Assessment got signed by the scientific and researchers communities across the
world. This declaration has given preference to the ALM or altmetrics over
traditional but faulty journal impact factor (JIF)-based assessment of career
scientists. JIF does not consider impact or influence beyond citations count as
this count reflected only through Thomson Reuters' Web of Science database.
Furthermore, JIF provides indicator related to the journal, but not related to
a published paper. Thus, altmetrics now becomes an alternative metrics for
performance assessment of individual scientists and their contributed scholarly
publications. This paper provides a glimpse of genesis of altmetrics in
measuring efficacy of scholarly communications and highlights available
altmetric tools and social platforms linking altmetric tools, which are widely
used in deriving altmetric scores of scholarly publications. The paper thus
argues for institutions and policy makers to pay more attention to altmetrics
based indicators for evaluation purpose but cautions that proper safeguards and
validations are needed before their adoption
