    Generalized two-point tree-level amplitude jfjfjf \to j^{\, \prime} f^{\, \prime} in a magnetized medium

The tree-level two-point amplitudes for the transitions jfjfjf \to j^{\, \prime} f^{\, \prime}, where ff is a fermion and jj is a generalized current, in a constant uniform magnetic field of an arbitrary strength and in charged fermion plasma, for the jffjff interaction vertices of the scalar, pseudoscalar, vector and axial-vector types have been calculated. The generalized current jj could mean the field operator of a boson, or a current consisting of fermions, e.g. the neutrino current. The particular cases of a very strong magnetic field, and of the coherent scattering off the real fermions without change of their states (the "forward" scattering) have been analysed. The contribution of the neutrino photoproduction process, γeeννˉ\gamma e\to e \nu \bar \nu, to the neutrino emissivity has been calculated with taking account of a possible resonance on the virtual electron.Comment: 23 pages, LaTeX, 1 EPS figure, submitted to Int. Industrial Parks in Russia: Conceptual Development of Projects

The paper presents a theoretical framework of industrial parks effectiveness as an element of economic policy to accelerate economy development in regions or municipalities. The article studies how historically such instruments were used in modern Russia. The paper states the necessity of extensive development of the industrial park concept and how it affects the chances of project realization and potential economic effectiveness. The main parts and blocks that should be taken into account during concept preparations are highlighted, and proposals for their content are made

Behavior of tumors under nonstationary theraphy

We present a model for the interaction dynamics of lymphocytes-tumor cells population. This model reproduces all known states for the tumor. Futherly,we develop it taking into account periodical immunotheraphy treatment with cytokines alone. A detailed analysis for the evolution of tumor cells as a function of frecuency and theraphy burden applied for the periodical treatment is carried out. Certain threshold values for the frecuency and applied doses are derived from this analysis. So it seems possible to control and reduce the growth of the tumor. Also, constant values for cytokines doses seems to be a succesful treatment.Comment: 6 pages, 7 figure

Optimized gyrosynchrotron algorithms and fast codes

Gyrosynchrotron (GS) emission of charged particles spiraling in magnetic fields plays an exceptionally important role in astrophysics. In particular, this mechanism makes a dominant contribution to the continuum solar and stellar radio emissions. However, the available exact equations describing the emission process are extremely slow computationally, thus limiting the diagnostic capabilities of radio observations. In this work, we present approximate GS codes capable of fast calculating the emission from anisotropic electron distributions. The computation time is reduced by several orders of magnitude compared with the exact formulae, while the computation error remains within a few percent. The codes are implemented as the executable modules callable from IDL; they are made available for users via web sites.Comment: Proceedings of the IAU Symposium 274 "Advances in Plasma Astrophysics
