Membincang Kesetaraan Gender Dalam Islam (Sebuah Perdebatan Dalam Wacana Hermeneutik)
Discourse on gerder equality in Islam has so far been ahermeneutical debate. This is because there are at least twomethods of interpretation: the first is interpretation as recollectionof meaning and the second is interpretation as exercise ofsuspicion. Unfortunately, these two methods have always beenbrought into conflict with each other. As a result, this situationhinders the possibility of arriving at a model of interpretation thatis elegant but still compatible with the spirit of Al Quran. In fact, what be done is to adopt the positive aspects of each method. Inthis way, it will be possible to generate a model of interpretationthat is democratic and contextual, so that religion truly becomes asystem of faith and worship which has great respect for variousgender issues
Globalisasi Dari Perspektif Kritis
By the end of the twentieth century the meaning of globalization were contested in every where. Not only in the economic or political debate, but it is also in the media. There are two major questions about globalization. Is that unavoided process or just an ideological project from the owner of social power in the world? Critical perspective said that world order not only as a product from the relations between one's states to the others but also product from the relations between social powers in the world. Include at this point are material, ideological, and institutional power. And the world order formed by the configuration of it. So, in the critical perspective, globalization isn't a natural or given reality, because any dominant actor in this project. And this actor uses their social power to directing where the globalization goes on. Unfortunatelly, no one's (states) try to struggle from this condition. They just keep silent in this hegemonic process. The last question is how to solve this problem? And Antonio Gramsci said that war of position and war of maneuver are the ways to solve this problem
State of Nature J.J. Rousseau Dan Implikasinya Terhadap Bentuk Ideal Negara
J.J. Rousseau conception about state of nature is not state of war but peace condition, abundant resources, and rooted in the pre history era. The condition changed when the savage man had been in transition to the civil society. In this situation conflict of interest appears and the State is needed to solve this problem. Rousseau proposes partisipatory democracy as ideality of the State. In the partisipatory democracy a souvereign will have important position because it will make a legislation. Because of that, all citizens must have a good political education so that their preference will be similar to general will

Relationship of Fruits and Vegetables Consumption with Children’s Cognitive Function in Elementary School Makassar
Introduction: Based on 2018 Basic Health Research data, the proportion of fruits and vegetables consumption among the Indonesian population ≥ 5 years old is still less, namely 95.5%. Eating fruits and vegetables can maintain cognitive function and repair damaged brain cells. The research aimed to determine the relationship between fruits and vegetables consumption and cognitive function in elementary school children in Makassar.
Methods: The research methodology is descriptive observational. The study sample size was 37 participants selected using a simple random sampling technique at SDN Borong Raya Makassar from September 2023 to October 2023. The independent variable was fruits and vegetables consumption, while the dependent variable in this study was cognitive function.
Results: Data analysis used the SPSS statistical Chi-square test where p < 0.05. The research results show that children who consume enough fruits and vegetables have good cognitive development (71.43%).
Conclusion: There is a relationship between fruits and vegetables consumption and cognitive function. Adequate consumption of fruits and vegetables can optimize children's cognitive development

Compression Strength Perpendicular to the Grain of Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) of the Three Community Wood Species
Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) is an engineered wood products composed of multi-layered panel of lumber where each layer of boards is placed cross-wise to adjacent layers. The purpose of the present research was to evaluate the compression strength perpendicular to grain of CLT composed of 5 layers tested with line loads in square surface. The position of line loads was in the centre and edge of sample orientated both in parallel and perpendicular to the grain direction at the CLT-surface. The CLT specimens were (15x20x20) cm3 (thickness, width and length) in size and were prepared from three community timber, i.e. sengon (Paraserianthes falcataria), mindi (Melia azedarach L.), and nangka (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lamk.). The result showed that the edge loading position resulted in lower compression strength than that of the central loading position. The highest comprresion strength was retained by CLT tested in the center loading position oriented to perpendicular to the grain direction. The highest compression strength perpendicular to grain was retained by CLT of nangka wood (20.28 kg cm-2) followed successively by those of CLT of mindi (25.97 kg cm-2) and CLT of sengon(8.50 kg cm-2)
Quality of Cikawung river water based on phytoplankton diversity
Abstract
This research aims to determine the quality of Cikawung river water based on phytoplankton diversity conducted in April-May 2019. This research uses descriptive method, with quantitative approach. The sample taken was 10% of the length of the Cikawung river, which is 5 km divided into 3 stations. The quality of the waters of the Cikawung river can be seen from the diversity index, evenness index and phytoplankton dominance index. The results show that the diversity value is low to moderate. The evenness value is categorized as stable condition. While the dominance index showed as labile condition or under ecology’s pressure. Broadly speaking, the quality of the waters of Cikawung river based on the diversity index is included in the heavily polluted category.</jats:p
