La bibliothèque quatrième lieu physique est « une communauté d’études, sous-sol et garage où l’apprentissage, l’activité (faire) et la conversation se croisent. Et comme les personnes y vont et viennent, il y a la possibilité d’y transférer la connaissance aussi bien que celle de construire sur ce que les autres sont capables de mettre en contribution. C’est un lieu où la seule règle est «apprendre» (« Maurice Coleman’s biweekly T is for Training podcast »)« . La bibliothèque quatrième lieu en ligne, ancrée dans la connexion numérique et la représentation permises par les TIC, est accessible par l’ensemble des terminaux numériques existants : ordinateurs, tablettes, téléphones mobiles, consoles de jeux, … Elle n’est pas une réplique, un miroir de la bibliothèque physique mais s’en éloigne volontairement pour proposer l’accès à d’autre espaces. Elle repose fondamentalement sur l’aide à la constitution et l’accompagnement de plusieurs types de communautés numériques : d’apprentissage, de pratique, d’intérêt, de construction de connaissances, de recherche

Del pensamiento a la práctica decolonial

Entre los muchos «giros de las últimas décadas, el denominado «decolonial» es quizás el más abarcador y al mismo tiempo más ambicioso. Abarcador, porque integra y a la vez inflexiona perspectivas y métodos precedentes; ambicioso, porque su objetivo es no solo cambiar las «reglas del juego» del conocimiento, sino también fomentar la recuperación de otras subjetividades, silenciadas bajo el peso de la Modernidad.  ¿Qué significa entonces «integrar» las críticas y prácticas decoloniales tanto en la constitución de islas de lectura, como en la manera en qué leemos los textos, incluyendo a los «clásicos»?  Este ensayo parte de esta pregunta para indagar sobre los modos de implementación de los objetivos decoloniales, no solo repasando sus principales propuestas teóricas, sino acercándose también a algunas prácticas concretas que intentan influir sobre todo el conocimiento, reorientar la relación entre saberes y poderes, y modificar tanto la constitución de diferentes cánones y bibliografías como el estatus jerárquico de los mismos. El alcance de estas prácticas decoloniales, como trataremos de mostrar, hace que más allá de las críticas acertadas a este nuevo giro, se haga difícil descartarlo completamente y que, incluso, sea provechoso integrarlo, también en nuestro quehacer universitario

Some approaches to human world

This work – and its referent, the book: El Salto Humano en el Cosmos (The human leap in the Cosmos) – is about the human being; the human world in its own space-time and in the universe. It is the being that performs a unique cosmic leap, a human blooming; a lighthouse of life. Humanity is singular specie, with values, senses and discoveries; without hiding their falls and nonsense, struggling tirelessly. They construct world and their own worlds. And they also use their exclusive ability to criticize and blame themselves because of their mistakes; as their value codes, ideas and beliefs reveal. And in this crucial state of habitat, history and human projection is not noticed enough. On the contrary, it is darkened, it becomes usual and common. So, we have to uncover, as it was affirmed by philosophy as well as from the science through many discoveries and achievements. Consequently, a theory comprehensive enough to better know what have been done, the continuous creations and the appropriate improvements are needed. Here we are summarizing the book mentioned below and the theory-practice that explains the dimensions and perspectives of the human world and its cosmic leap. Based on research and analysis eight-n dimensions considered essential have been selected: language – symbol – biology – nature – individual – society – rule – power. To which n additional dimensions are added. This set opens human freedom among many characteristics that enrich this path. Then, sciences, mathematics, philosophy, technology, art, customs, practices – specific and intertwine - perform a world and a singular and multiple human being, who leaps tirelessly in the cosmos. This is a conceptual and operational proposal which allows a better approach to this issue. The human being is an exception in the universe, even when there are other beings, because there is an existential platform that projects him to the infinite.Facultad de Psicologí

Genetic algorithm for the topological design of survivable optical transport networks

We develop a genetic algorithm for the topological design of survivable optical transport networks with minimum capital expenditure. Using the developed genetic algorithm we can obtain near-optimal topologies in a short time. The quality of the obtained solutions is assessed using an integer linear programming model. Two initial population generators, two selection methods, two crossover operators, and two population sizes are analyzed. Computational results obtained using real telecommunications networks show that by using an initial population that resembles real optical transport networks a good convergence is achieved

The third issue of the international magazine Orientación y Sociedad (Guidance and Society), is published in the midst of turmoil. The socio-economic and cultural crisis has deteriorated each and every form of life and production, especially those related to the condition of poverty and indigence. As a result of the economic measures taken, the crisis has been made extensive to most of the population as well as to the activities depending on imported materials, such is the case of printing supplies. Various had to be the strategies implemented in order to make this issue a real thing, after having had to surmount the academic instances necessary for the elaboration of the magazine, and to resort to different forms of self-financing.Departamento de Psicologí
