Pengembangan Soal Untuk Mengukur Kemampuan Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi Pokok Bahasan Barisan Dan Deret Bilangan Di Kelas IX Akselerasi SMP Xaverius Maria Palembang
Teaching fast learning students is not enough by giving them ordinary mathematics problems. Teaching activities for fast learning students bring consequence for teacher to modify teaching activities from regular to activity that needs Higher Order Thinking skills. Therefore it is need to develop problems to measure higher order thinking skills. This study aims to (1) produce a valid and practical prototype problems to measure Higher Order Thinking skills in Number Sequences and Series for Acceleration Class Grade IX (2) see the effects of the problems to measure higher order thinking skills on students\u27 achievement in Number Sequence and Series was tried out to students of acceleration class grade IX . This study use development research that consists of analyzing, designing, evaluating, and revising. The instrument for collecting data is written test. Test is used to see students\u27 achievement in Number Sequences and Series. All data are analyzed using descriptive technique. Subjects in this research are students of Acceleration Class Grade IX of SMP Xaverius Maria Palembang. The total subject are 22 students The results of analysis are: (1) problems prototype which is developed has been valid and practical. (2) based on developing process can be obtained that problems which is developed contains potential effect to higher order thinking skills of Acceleration Class Grade IX of SMP Xaverius Maria Palembang shown by written test result score 35.59. It means that students\u27 thinking skill is good category. The final conclusion is the problems which is developed can be used to measure higher order thinking skills in Number Sequence and Serie
A Framework for Reference Management in the Semantic Web
Much of the semantic web relies upon open and unhindered interoperability between diverse systems. The successful convergence of multiple ontologies and referencing schemes is key. This is hampered by a lack of any means for managing and communicating co-references. We have therefore developed an ontology and framework for the exploration and resolution of potential co-references, in the semantic web at large, that allow the user to a) discover and record uniquely identifying attributes b) interface candidates with and create pipelines of other systems for reference management c) record identified duplicates in a usable and retrievable manner, and d) provide a consistent reference service for accessing them. This paper describes this ontology and a framework of web services designed to support and utilise it

The Rituals of Orekotón and the Aguinaldos Pemón – the System of Appropriation in Pemón Music (Gran Sabana/Venezuela)
With the help of two examples the system of appropriation in Pemón music will
be discussed. The process is characterized by the transformation of the
outside music and its function to “influence” the sound structure as well as
the cosmology of an Amerindian group, located in Gran Sabana between
Venezuela, Brazil, and Guyana. First a song will be analyzed which has its
origin in influences of Anglican missionaries. It was recorded with the title
“Areruya” by a German anthropologist named Theodor Koch-Grünberg in 1911
among the Taurepán (Pemón). Actually, the songs of “Areruya” and also
“Cho'chiman” formed the rituals of Orekotón. They reflect the identity of a
large number of people belonging to these this Amerindian group. A second
example illustrates the theme of aguinaldo pemón, emphasizing similarities of
recent appropriation and transformation of Venezuelan aguinaldos into
aguinaldos pemón. The process has its motif in Pemón cosmology which is
charac- terized by the interaction between humans and non-humans. This point
of view is instrumental in understanding why an appropriation of the
intruders' music (non-Pemón) is necessary to contact the spiritual agencies
of the others to strengthen their own spiritual force
Extension to UML-B Notation and Toolset
The UML-B notation has been created as an attempt to combine the success and ease of use of UML, with the verification and rigorous development capabilities of formal methods. However, the notation currently only supports a basic diagram set. To address this we have, in this project, designed and implemented a set of extensions to the UML-B notation that provide a much fuller software engineering experience, critically making UML-B more appealing to industry partners. These extensions comprise five new diagram types, which are aimed at supplying a broader range of design capabilities, such as conceptual Use-Case design and future integration with the ProB animator tool
Analyses of length and age distributions using continuation-ratio logits
Sampling of length and age distributions of catches is important for the assessment of commercially fished stocks. This paper presents a new method for statistical analyses and comparisons of length and age distributions based on generalised linear models of continuation-ratio logits. The method allows statistical testing of the effects of both continuous and discrete variables. Further, by utilising the smoothness of length and age distributions as a function of length, the method provides more accurate estimates of these distributions than traditional methods. The observations are assumed to be multinomially distributed, but cases in which the variance exceeds that of this distribution may also be analysed. The implementation of the method in existing statistical analysis software is straightforward and is demonstrated using length and age distributions of the lesser sandeel, Ammodytes marinus Raitt. </jats:p
