    : Moringa (Moringa oleifera) is a traditional plant, which is known to treat liver disease. The effect of moringa is related to the antioxidant activity of its compounds such as quercetin and flavonoid silymarin which are useful as liver protector. Carbon tetraclorida is a hepatotoxic substance that is usually used as an inducer of liver damage in studies related to hepatoprotector activity of a substance. This study aimed to describe liver histopathological features of Wistar rats fed with moringa leaf extract after CCl4 induction. This was an experimental study using 24 Wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus) which were divided into 4 groups. Group A, the negative control, was terminated at day 6th, and the other groups (B, C, and D) were induced with CCl4 0.05 cc/day for 5 days. After CCl4 induction, group B were terminated at day 6th; group C was treated with moringa leaf extract 100 mg/day for 5 days and was terminated at day 11th; group D received no treatment for 5 days and was terminated at day 11th. The results showed that groups induced with CCl4 for 5 days showed the presence of inflammatory cells and fatty cells. The groups treated with moringa leaf extract 100mg/day for 5 days after CCl4 induction 0.05 cc/day exhibited regeneration of liver cells in nearly all lobules. Conclusion: Administration of moringa leaf extract of 100mg/day could accelerate liver cell regeneration of Wistar rats after induction of CCl4 0.05cc/day

    The purpose of this study are: (1) Identify the supply chain model of coconut desiccated at PT. XYZ and (2) to analyze the supply chain management of desiccated coconut at PT. XYZ. The research was conducted over 2 months ie from September to November 2016 and is located in PT. XYZ (pseudonym), in North Sulawesi. The data used in this research are primary and secondary data. The primary data obtained through field observation and direct interviews. Interviews were conducted with the company related logistics company to find a picture of the supply chain and supply chain management is done by the company. In addition, the researchers also conducted interviews with coconut farmers and collectors to determine the condition of the current coconut price as well as the flow of raw material coconuts from the famers to supplier. Secondary data were obtained from the relevant literature, as well as documents and reports that are owned by companies and agencies. This study focuses on the management of the flow of material and information flow of the supply chain of coconut flour at PT. XYZ. The results of observations and interviews were analyzed with descriptive qualitative analysis methods. The results showed that (1) Members of coconut flour supply chain at. XYZ, namely (a) the raw material supplier of coconut spread in some areas, (b) PT. XYZ for purchasing, sales, shipping and production, (c) Expediting Services to send products from Bitung harbor, next to the port of Tanjung Priok to be exported to the country of destination, (d) The customer, in this case the food companies that require raw materials coconut flour to be produced into chocolate bars, cookies, dessert, and so forth. (2) (a) Selection of supplier PT. XYZ is good enough, because every supplier who will supply the raw material to go through the interview stage, made a deal with the company and agree to the terms proposed by the company. PT. XYZ also maintain good relations with its suppliers with visits annually; (b) the flow of material and information flow is managed by PT. XYZ is good enough. Any information purchasing, sales, shipping and finance centered PT.XYZ headquarters is located in Manado and PT. XYZ manage information about the quantity of raw materials available in the warehouse and general condition of the plant

    : An ectopic pregnancy is a pregnancy with a fertilized ovum, implant and grow in a normal endometrial cavity in the uteri. When pregnancy is experiencing a process of termination (abortion) is called a rupture dectopic pregnancy (KET). This study aims to determine umtuk review cases of ectopic pregnancy in BLU Dr Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou period 1 January 2010 - 31 December 2011 in terms of age, parity,history of abortion ,historyofcontraceptive/familyplanningacceptors. This is a descriptive retrospective study. The population in this study were all patients who were treated at the department of Obstetrics Gynecology Prof. BLU. Dr. R. D. Kandou Period January 1, 2010 - December 31, 2011. The data has been processed and then presented in the form of frequency distribution table and further discussed base don't heresultsobtained. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate the amount and presentation of the study variables based on the total number of cases. It is recommended that the mother has since given a case of ectopic pregnancy can be life-threatening emergency, then at the age of susceptible pregnant women ectopic pregnancy is recommended for early detection

    : Lime squash is often used as a herbal remedy for gastritis, even though it is acidic. It contains citric acid and vitamin C which in certain doses can be irritant to the stomach. Nevertheless, lime squash also contains antioxidants such as limonene, flavonoids, and vitamin C, that play certain roles in improving the protection of the stomach and the ability of cell regeneration, and as anti-inflammatory agents. This study aimed to reveal the histopathological features of the gaster of Wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus) treated with lime squash. This was an experimental laboratory study using 15 adult Wistar rats divided into three groups (five rats in each group). Group A (negative control) was given no treatment; group B and C were treated with lime squash 0.5 and 1.56 ml/day, respectively. Lime squash was given in a single dose for seven consecutive days. Rats were terminated on day eight. The results revealed that the gaster of Wistar rats in group A were similar to that of the normal gaster, while group B and C showed no signs of inflammation and the gastric gland cells appeared enlarged and dense. Conclusion: Histopathological features of the gaster of Wistar rats, treated with either low or high dose (three-fold) lime squash, showed no signs of abnormalities such as inflammation, however, there were enlarged glandular cells which might be related to increased gastric mucosal defence

    : Rifampicyn a bactericidal antibiotic drug of the rifamycin group. The drug is made ​​from semisynthetic compound derived from Amycolatopsis rifamycinica (formerly known as Amycolatopsis mediterranei and Streptomyces mediterranei). Rifampicyn dose of 600 mg / day in humans can cause side effects such as kidney renal insufficiency, acute renal failure, urine output, and the orange-red. This study a imsto look at the white rat renal histological (Wistar) after administration of rifampin. This research was conducted at the Research Laboratory of Integrated Pathology Faculty of Medicine University of Sam Ratulangi Manado. Study using 10 rats (Wistar) consisting of 3 treatment groups. The results showed that the use of rifampicyn at a dose of 5 mg in rats (Wistar) showed vacuole-vacuole in the renal tubular cells, where as the use of rifampicyn at a dose of 8 mg in rats (Wistar) causes acute tubular necrosis

    Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaturan tindak pidana penggelapan biasa dalam Pasal 372 KUHP dan bagaimana alasan pemberat dan peringan ancaman pidana terhadap tindak pidana Pasal 372 KUHP.  Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian yuridis normatif, disimpulkan: 1. Pengaturan tindak pidana penggelapan biasa dalam Pasal 372 KUHP memiliki unsur-unsur: a. barang siapa, b. dengan sengaja, c. melawan hukum, d. memiliki barang sesuatu yang seluruhnya atau sebagian kepunyaan orang lain; e. tetapi yang ada dalam kekuasaannya bukan karena kejahatan; di mana unsur barang itu ada dalam kekuasaannya bukan karena kejahatan, merupakan unsur khas dari penggelapan yang membedakannya dengan delik pencurian. 2. Alasan pemberat ancaman pidana untuk delik penggelapan terdiri atas: a.  penggelapan di mana penguasaannya atas barang disebabkan ada hubungan kerja (Pasal 374 KUHP), dan b. penggelapan di mana penguasaan atas barang karena terpaksa (bencana), sebagai kurator, pelaksana wasiat, atau pengurus lembaga sosial atau yayasan (Pasal 375 KUHP); sedangkan alasan peringan ancaman pidana yaitu delik penggelapan atas barang yang bukan ternak dan harganya tidak lebih dari Rp2.500.000,00 (dua juta lima ratus ribu ripuah).Kata kunci:  Alasan Pemberat Dan  Peringan Pidana,    Delik Penggelapan,  Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidan

    Crystallographic and Magnetic Structure of the Perovskite-Type Compound BaFeO2.5: unrivaled complexity in oxygen vacancy ordering

    We report here on the characterization of the vacancy-ordered perovskite-type structure of BaFeO2.5 by means of combined Rietveld analysis of powder X-ray and neutron diffraction data. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c [a = 6.9753(1) Å, b = 11.7281(2) Å, c = 23.4507(4) Å, β = 98.813(1)°, and Z = 28] containing seven crystallographically different iron atoms. The coordination scheme is determined to be Ba7(FeO4/2)1(FeO3/2O1/1)3(FeO5/2)2(FeO6/2)1 = Ba7Fe([6])1Fe([5])2Fe([4])4O17.5 and is in agreement with the (57)Fe Mössbauer spectra and density functional theory based calculations. To our knowledge, the structure of BaFeO2.5 is the most complicated perovskite-type superstructure reported so far (largest primitive cell, number of ABX2.5 units per unit cell, and number of different crystallographic sites). The magnetic structure was determined from the powder neutron diffraction data and can be understood in terms of "G-type" antiferromagnetic ordering between connected iron-containing polyhedra, in agreement with field-sweep and zero-field-cooled/field-cooled measurements
