Moments of Wigner function and Renyi entropies at freeze-out
Relation between Renyi entropies and moments of the Wigner function,
representing the quantum mechanical description of the M-particle
semi-inclusive distribution at freeze-out, is investigated. It is shown that in
the limit of infinite volume of the system, the classical and quantum
descriptions are equivalent. Finite volume corrections are derived and shown to
be small for systems encountered in relativistic heavy ion collisions.Comment: 15 pages, one figur
Observation of Resonant Diffusive Radiation in Random Multilayered Systems
Diffusive Radiation is a new type of radiation predicted to occur in randomly
inhomogeneous media due to the multiple scattering of pseudophotons. This
theoretical effect is now observed experimentally. The radiation is generated
by the passage of electrons of energy 200KeV-2.2MeV through a random stack of
films in the visible light region. The radiation intensity increases resonantly
provided the Cherenkov condition is satisfied for the average dielectric
constant of the medium. The observed angular dependence and electron resonance
energy are in agreement with the theoretical predictions. These observations
open a road to application of diffusive radiation in particle detection,
astrophysics, soft X-ray generation and etc.. `Comment: 4pages, 4figure
A study of the nuclear medium influence on transverse momentum of hadrons produced in deep inelastic neutrino scattering
The influence of nuclear effects on the transverse momentum
distributions of neutrinoproduced hadrons is investigated using the data
obtained with SKAT propane-freon bubble chamber irradiated in the neutrino beam
(with = 3-30 GeV) at Serpukhov accelerator. Dependences of of hadrons (more pronounced for the
positively charged ones) produced in the target fragmentation region at low
invariant mass of the hadronic system (2 4 GeV) or at low energies
transferred to the current quark (2 GeV). At higher or ,
no influence of nuclear effects on is observed. Measurement results
are compared with predictions of a simple model, incorporating secondary
intranuclear interactions of hadrons (with a formation length extracted from
the Lund fragmentation model), which qualitatively reproduces the main features

DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF A MULTI-EXERCISE DESIGN (MXD) COMMITMENT SCALE: AN EXPLORATORY SEQUENTIAL DESIGN
The study aimed to develop a context-specific scale to measure the fitness enthusiasts' commitment to exercise in regions XI and XII using a multi-exercise design (MXD) fitness program. The study employed a mixed-methods approach, specifically the exploratory sequential design. In the qualitative phase, seven themes emerged: having physiological satisfaction, experiencing psychological satisfaction, acknowledging gained benefits, maintaining health conditions, creating impressions about MXD fitness exercise, improving social engagement, and achieving social support. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was used to code and analyze the participants' answers to the checklist, with 55 items were encoded and analyzed using EFA. This analysis revealed five key dimensions: social modeling, expected outcomes, self-efficacy, physiological satisfaction, and health outcomes. This structure was a better-fitting, more parsimonious model using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and other test indices. A CFA was done on the 50-item tool to ensure it had the correct final dimensions, the items were correctly assigned to their factors, and the factor models were a good fit. Finally, we conducted reliability tests to verify the validity of the results related to the respondents' commitment to the MXD fitness program. Data also revealed no significant difference when grouped based on age, sex, weight, and status. Further, quantitative data results confirm qualitative data results. Article visualizations
J/psi azimuthal anisotropy relative to the reaction plane in Pb-Pb collisions at 158 GeV per nucleon
The J/ azimuthal distribution relative to the reaction plane has been
measured by the NA50 experiment in Pb-Pb collisions at 158 GeV/nucleon. Various
physical mechanisms related to charmonium dissociation in the medium created in
the heavy ion collision are expected to introduce an anisotropy in the
azimuthal distribution of the observed J/ mesons at SPS energies. Hence,
the measurement of J/ elliptic anisotropy, quantified by the Fourier
coefficient v of the J/ azimuthal distribution relative to the
reaction plane, is an important tool to constrain theoretical models aimed at
explaining the anomalous J/ suppression observed in Pb-Pb collisions. We
present the measured J/ yields in different bins of azimuthal angle
relative to the reaction plane, as well as the resulting values of the Fourier
coefficient v as a function of the collision centrality and of the
J/ transverse momentum. The reaction plane has been estimated from the
azimuthal distribution of the neutral transverse energy detected in an
electromagnetic calorimeter. The analysis has been performed on a data sample
of about 100 000 events, distributed in five centrality or p
sub-samples. The extracted v values are significantly larger than zero

A new measurement of J/psi suppression in Pb-Pb collisions at 158 GeV per nucleon
We present a new measurement of J/psi production in Pb-Pb collisions at 158
GeV/nucleon, from the data sample collected in year 2000 by the NA50
Collaboration, under improved experimental conditions with respect to previous
years. With the target system placed in vacuum, the setup was better adapted to
study, in particular, the most peripheral nuclear collisions with unprecedented
accuracy. The analysis of this data sample shows that the (J/psi)/Drell-Yan
cross-sections ratio measured in the most peripheral Pb-Pb interactions is in
good agreement with the nuclear absorption pattern extrapolated from the
studies of proton-nucleus collisions. Furthermore, this new measurement
confirms our previous observation that the (J/psi)/Drell-Yan cross-sections
ratio departs from the normal nuclear absorption pattern for semi-central Pb-Pb
collisions and that this ratio persistently decreases up to the most central

Centrality Behaviour of J/ Production in Na50
The J/ production in 158 A GeV Pb-Pb interactions is studied, in the
dimuon decay channel, as a function of centrality, as measured with the
electromagnetic or with the very forward calorimeters. After a first sharp
variation at mid centrality, both patterns continue to fall down and exhibit a
curvature change at high centrality values. This trend excludes any
conventional hadronic model and is in agreement with a deconfined quark-gluon
phase scenario. We report also preliminary results on the measured charged
