Trilinear gauge boson couplings are measured using data taken by DELPHI at 161~GeV and 172~GeV. Values for WWVWWV couplings (V=Z,γV=Z, \gamma) are determined from a study of the reactions \eeWW\ and \eeWev, using differential distributions from the WWWW final state in which one WW decays hadronically and the other leptonically, and total cross-section data from other channels. Limits are also derived on neutral ZVγZV\gamma couplings from an analysis of the reaction \eegi

EVIDENCE FOR A NARROW WIDTH BOSON OF MASS 2.95-GeV

    No full text
In a search for resonances coupled to the pp pi /sup -/ system, pi /sup -/p interactions at 16 GeV/c giving a forward antiproton have been studied, using the Omega spectrometer at CERN. In the final states involving a p, p and pi /sup -/ a 5.6 (6.3) standard deviation enhancement is observed in the pp pi /sup -/ mass spectrum at (2.95+or-0.01) GeV with a width consistent with the resolution ( sigma =15 MeV). The production cross section*branching ratio is estimated to be of the order 1 mu b. The data are consistent with a resonance decaying partly via intermediate pp final states. (5 refs)

OBSERVATION IN THE K+ K- SYSTEM OF A NEW STRUCTURE AT 2.2-GEV

A sample of 56909 events of the reaction pi /sup -/p to K/sup +/K/sup -/n at 10 GeV/c has been measured in the Omega spectrometer at CERN. In the K/sup +/K/sup -/ system, besides production of mesons in the S* / phi , f/sup 0//A/sub 2/, g/ omega * and h regions the authors observe a new structure at 2.20 GeV with a width of the order of 200 MeV.
