What is the role of Ofsted, as a major stakeholder and gatekeeper for maintaining standards of quality in education, in promoting the development of creativity skills in vocational business studies courses for young learners aged 16 to 19 in Further Education Colleges? Using an exploratory, illustrative case study design (Thomas, 2011) with a systems thinking conceptual framework (Capra and Luisi, 2014), I am using qualitative data from interviews, published Ofsted reports, the Ofsted Common Inspection Framework (2012), and Times Educational Supplement articles, to build my case study. I am also using feedback from my public engagement activities on social media and at conferences to inform my ideas within a broad, systems view of education where we consider the whole rather than drawing conclusions from an analysis of its parts. This paper explains the importance of a clear and shared definition of creativity, focusing on the ‘creative person’ within a multi-faceted concept of creativity which includes various other essential elements such as process, product, place, pressures, permanence and persuasion

In today's life style, daily tone’s of goods and products are produced and they are carried or transported from one place to another. The journey of transportation of the products can be form a mile to 1000's of miles. For transporting the goods or products, some source of mobile things like trucks, trolley, carriage, ship, train, aeroplane etc , are required to carry those items. Some goods weigh's some kilo's to some of the goods to tonnes which are transported as per the requirement of the user. Some of the transportation aid's are automatic like trucks, train, ship etc, while some of the transportation aid's are manual based like trolleys, carriage, rickshaws etc, which require the manual help to pull or push them over the journey of the transportation. As per today's life style time is money in some words, so time of transportation is directly proportional to the cost of products and profit gained from. Thus to achieve short time period transportation journey the carrier should be sufficiently able to provide as much as low time period, thus it should be more advance and more comfortable to the user. In present work, the focus is given on the time period, comfort, advancement, low cost, and mainly manual work is aimed to be reduced as much as possible. The model here made aims on providing automatic motion to the user with the help of some external sources so that the time of transportation can be reduced so as to increase the efficiency of carrier and to increase the profit. An attempt is made here in this work on enlargement of the space of the platform so that more and more goods can be transported at one time. But the enlargement of platform made here is portable i.e. can be increased or decreased as per the requirement of the user and quantity of the goods. Further emphasis is given on the weight of the trolley so that the motion can be executed with ease and in less time period user can perform the work. The design is validated by developing digital mock up generated in CATIA V5 and are assembled to form a final product. Physical prototype including the structure and functionality is developed using wood and ABS materia

In the normal, healthy adult, hematopoiesis occurs primarily in the bone marrow. As such, at steady state, a majority of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells: HSPCs) are tightly held within specialized areas of the bone marrow collectively referred to as the `hematopoietic stem cell niche.\u27 In response to various forms of stress, such as infection or hemorrhage, or following administration of a variety of pharmacologic agents, niche function is altered and HSPCs are released into the peripheral circulation through a process known as mobilization. Granulocyte-colony stimulating factor: G-CSF), a hematopoietic growth factor, is the most widely-used mobilizing agent clinically. However, the mechanisms by which G-CSF elicits HSPC mobilization are not well-understood. The experiments described herein are directed towards understanding the mechanism by which G-CSF elicits mobilization as a means to understanding regulation of HSPC trafficking between the bone marrow and periphery. We first focused on identifying the hematopoietic lineage directly targeted by G-CSF in the initiation of HSPC mobilization. Using a mouse model in which the G-CSF receptor is selectively expressed on monocytic cells, we demonstrate that G-CSF signaling in monocytic cells is sufficient for a normal mobilization response. Subsequent studies were designed to identify which of the three major cell types within the monocytic lineage - bone marrow macrophages, osteoclasts, and myeloid dendritic cells - are critical for retention of HSPCs within the bone marrow and for the mobilization response to G-CSF. We demonstrate that loss of myeloid dendritic cells does not abrogate the mobilization response to G-CSF and that pharmacologic ablation of osteoclasts does not lead to HSPC release into the periphery. Lastly, we evaluated the importance of selected factors produced by monocytes in the mobilization response to G-CSF. We demonstrate that hematopoietic loss of osteopontin does not alter the mobilization response to G-CSF. Further work will be required to evaluate the role of bone marrow macrophages and myeloid dendritic cells in HSPC retention as well as the requirement for osteoclasts in G-CSF-induced mobilization. Future studies will be directed at identifying the factors used by monocytic cells to communicate with the stromal components of the HSPC niche during G-CSF-induced mobilization

The article analyzes the process of granulation of animal feed and identifies the main criteria for optimizing this process. In order to increase the productivity of animals, the use of balanced feed is considered important. Feed granulation technology not only replaces traditional feed, but also allows the use of industrial waste (corn, sunflower residues, etc.). This process provides animals with better digestion and high feed efficiency. The results of the study show that the protein and feed unit digested when using granulated feed are maintained at a higher level than other traditional feed types. The article analyzes the stages, structural and management parameters of this technological process, and is also modeled by various system approaches (morphological, functional, information). As an optimization criterion, indicators of process energy efficiency and grain quality are taken. The efficiency of the process is measured by the amount of energy used in the granulation line, the weight and quality of the output. The article also presents functional descriptions and equipment control mechanisms to improve the granulation process. Thus, this study offers practical solutions for the systematic analysis and optimization of the granulation process of compound feeds, and emphasizes the importance of analyzing and modeling equipment based on the aggregate system. W ten sposób niniejsze badanie oferuje praktyczne rozwiązania w zakresie systematycznej analizy i optymalizacji procesu granulacji mieszanek paszowych oraz podkreśla znaczenie analizy i modelowania urządzeń w oparciu o system agregacyjny

The current study has sought to examine human suffering as depicted in 'Morning at the Window', by W.B. Yeats and 'Musee des Beaux Art', by W. H. Auden. It has also attempted to investigate how humans are incurious and unenthusiastic to man's serious problems and disasters. In order to achieve the aims of this study, the two poems under investigation were, quantitatively, analyzed. The expressions, in the two poems, which indicate that human are indifferent and lukewarm to human serious problems and disasters; were focused and investigated. The findings of the study showed that the poems, investigated in this study, shed light on human suffering. They also displayed that humans are incurious and unenthusiastic to man serious problems and disasters. Moreover, they show an insensitive and cruel disregard for others. The study recommends that future researches and studies should be conducted on other forms of literary genres other than poetry. Besides, examining other social issues that of great importance to humanity, for literature is regarded as the mirror which reflects human life in all its aspects

This paper proposed a hybrid neural network Back propagation (BP) algorithm optimized by Genetic Algorithm (GA) for the diminution of the fundamental electromagnetic interferences in Incubators. Gradient based techniques have been proposed in the past for the elimination of incubator noise but they are susceptible to local minima problem. Genetic algorithms are a class of optimization procedure which is good at examining an intelligent way for selecting the number of hidden layer neurons, learning rate and momentum constant of the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) to find values close to the global minimum. The result analysis shows that the proposed approach shows good performance in cancelling the ECG interference over other conventional approaches.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/ij-ai.v2i4.229
