Dispersion relations for the time-fractional Cattaneo-Maxwell heat equation
In this paper, after a brief review of the general theory of dispersive waves
in dissipative media, we present a complete discussion of the dispersion
relations for both the ordinary and the time-fractional Cattaneo-Maxwell heat
equations. Consequently, we provide a complete characterization of the group
and phase velocities for these two cases, together with some non-trivial
remarks on the nature of wave dispersion in fractional models.Comment: 18 pages, 7 figure
Levi-Civita cylinders with fractional angular deficit
The angular deficit factor in the Levi-Civita vacuum metric has been
parametrized using a Riemann-Liouville fractional integral. This introduces a
new parameter into the general relativistic cylinder description, the
fractional index {\alpha}. When the fractional index is continued into the
negative {\alpha} region, new behavior is found in the Gott-Hiscock cylinder

Evaluation of the environmental monitoring’s effects on the anaesthetic gases concentrations in the operating theatres
In this study the microbiological, physical and chemical results of an investigation concerning the environmental conditions of operating theatres in 38 public hospitals of the Campania Government are presented. The analysis of the results has been made by considering specific standards suggested by national and international regulations. The results showed that 84% of the operating theatres presented normal microbiological values, in relation to the total bacterial load, while 16% did not. By considering the microclimatic monitoring 55% of the operating theatres showed normal values while 45% at least a microclimatic index did not. In relation to the concentrations of anaesthetics gases the survey pointed out that the nitrous oxides was within non prescribed environmental limits (50 ppm for N2O); while 15% of the halogenated was not in normal values

Overlooked gall-inducing moths revisited, with the description of Andescecidium parrai gen. et sp. n. and Oliera saizi sp. n. from Chile (Lepidoptera, Cecidosidae)
There are still many gall systems associated with larvae of Lepidoptera in which the true gall-inducers have not been identified to species. Reports on misidentification of gall inducers have been recurrent for these galls, particularly in complex gall-systems that may include inquilines, kleptoparasites, and cecidophages, among other feeding guilds such as predators and parasitoid wasps. Here we describe and illustrate the adults, larvae, pupae and galls, based on light and scanning microscopy, of Andescecidium parrai gen. et sp. n. and Oliera saizi sp. n., two sympatric cecidosid moths that are associated with Schinus polygamus (Cav.) Cabrera (Anacardiaceae) in central Chile. Adults, immatures, and galls of the former did not conform to any known cecidosid genus. Galls of A. parrai are external, spherical, and conspicuous, being known for more than one century. However, their induction has been mistakenly associated with either unidentified Coleoptera (original description) or Oliera argentinana Br糨es (recently), a distinct cecidosid species with distribution restricted to the eastern Andes. Galls of O. saizi had been undetected, as they are inconspicuous. They occur under the bark within swollen stems, and may occur on the same plant, adjacent to those of A. parrai. We also propose a time-calibrated phylogeny using sequences from mitochondrial and nuclear loci, including specimens of the new proposed taxa. Thus in addition to clarifying the taxonomy of the Chilean cecidosid species we also tested their monophyly in comparison to congeneric species and putative specimens of all genera of Neotropical and African cecidosids.Fil: Silva, Gabriela T.. Creep, Relaxation and Viscosity Properties for Basic Fractional Models in Rheology
The purpose of this paper is twofold: from one side we provide a general
survey to the viscoelastic models constructed via fractional calculus and from
the other side we intend to analyze the basic fractional models as far as their
creep, relaxation and viscosity properties are considered. The basic models are
those that generalize via derivatives of fractional order the classical
mechanical models characterized by two, three and four parameters, that we
refer to as Kelvin-Voigt, Maxwell, Zener, anti-Zener and Burgers. For each
fractional model we provide plots of the creep compliance, relaxation modulus
and effective viscosity in non dimensional form in terms of a suitable time
scale for different values of the order of fractional derivative. We also
discuss the role of the order of fractional derivative in modifying the

Understanding Anomalous Transport in Intermittent Maps: From Continuous Time Random Walks to Fractals
We show that the generalized diffusion coefficient of a subdiffusive
intermittent map is a fractal function of control parameters. A modified
continuous time random walk theory yields its coarse functional form and
correctly describes a dynamical phase transition from normal to anomalous
diffusion marked by strong suppression of diffusion. Similarly, the probability
density of moving particles is governed by a time-fractional diffusion equation
on coarse scales while exhibiting a specific fine structure. Approximations
beyond stochastic theory are derived from a generalized Taylor-Green-Kubo

Exceptional Laguerre and Jacobi polynomials and the corresponding potentials through Darboux-Crum Transformations
Simple derivation is presented of the four families of infinitely many shape
invariant Hamiltonians corresponding to the exceptional Laguerre and Jacobi
polynomials. Darboux-Crum transformations are applied to connect the well-known
shape invariant Hamiltonians of the radial oscillator and the
Darboux-P\"oschl-Teller potential to the shape invariant potentials of
Odake-Sasaki. Dutta and Roy derived the two lowest members of the exceptional
Laguerre polynomials by this method. The method is expanded to its full
generality and many other ramifications, including the aspects of generalised
Bochner problem and the bispectral property of the exceptional orthogonal

Continuous-time statistics and generalized relaxation equations
Using two simple examples, the continuous-time random walk as well as a two state Markov chain, the relation between generalized anomalous relaxation equations and semi-Markov processes is illustrated. This relation is then used to discuss continuous-time random statistics in a general setting, for statistics of convolution-type.
