Magnetic field mesurement on electrical machines
Táto bakalárka práca sa zaoberá magnetickým požom a princípmi, na ktorých sú založené senzory na jeho meranie. Ďalšia časť práce skúma rozloženie magnetického poža v okolí asynchrónneho motora. Analýza je vyhodnocovaná pomocou grafického spracovania nameraných hodnôt a jej súčasťou je tiež aj porovnanie týchto hodnôt s vypočítanými hodnotami pomocou metódy konečných prvkov v programe FEMM.This bachelor thesis deals with magnetic field and the principles on which sensors for it´s measuring are based on. The following part of the bachelor work investigates the distibution of magnetic field in the environs of asynchronous engine. Analysis is evaluated with the assistance of graphical processing of measured values and a part of the analysis is also the comparison of this values with the values calculated with assistence of the method of final compoments in program FEMM.
Pollicization: The Concept, Technical Details, and Outcome
Pollicization substitutes a functioning finger for a deficient thumb. The most indication is thumb hypoplasia with absence or instability of the carpometacarpal joint. However, there are additional causes that may negate thumb function, such as trauma, macrodactyly, multi-fingered hand, and a mirror hand. The technique of pollicization represents a consolidation of contributions from surgeons over the last 100 years. A meticulous stepwise approach from incision to closure is necessary to optimize outcome. Following pollicization, cortical plasticity and motor relearning play a pivotal role in function following pollicization with connections and adjacent sprouting from nearby cortical and/or subcortical territories. Occupational therapy is necessary to encourage large object acquisition followed by smaller objects and ultimately fine pinch. Pollicization is more reliable in patients with isolated thumb hypoplasia and a mobile index finger with robust extrinsic and intrinsic muscle-tendon units compared to and patients with radial forearm deficiencies and diminished index mobility
Stimulation-evoked pain and temperature sensations in thalamus of pain and non-pain patients
grantor:
University of TorontoThis thesis examined the location and incidence of thalamic microstimulation-evoked painful/thermal sensations in pain and non-pain patients. Awake patients undergoing functional stereotactic surgery were asked to report any sensations evoked by microstimulation (300Hz, 0.2ms, 1 sec. trains) at 1-mm intervals along microelectrode trajectories through ventrocaudal nucleus (Vc) and ventroposterior (VPVc) region. In 49 movement-disorder and 37 pain patients microstimulation evoked painful/thermal sensations at 6.6% of the 5842 stimulation sites. The majority (77.3%) of these pain/temperature sites was located ventroposterior to Vc. The incidence of pain sites was higher in post-stroke pain patients (PSP, n = 11) compared to other patients (15.1% vs 1.6% in Vc; 9.5% vs 2.8% in VPVc). In contrast, thermal sites within VPVc were evoked less frequently in PSP patients (2.3%) than in other groups (7.4%). These data demonstrate that most pain/thermal sites were located in VPVc and suggest that alterations in thalamocortical sensory processing in PSP patients may mediate chronic pain.M.Sc
Newly-Built Detached House
Jedn sa o samostatne stojaci, dvojpodlan, nepodpivniÄen rodinn dom zastreen plochou vegetaÄnou strechou v obci algovce. SÄasou rodinn©ho domu s dve dreven© terasy. This bachelor thesis is about a two-storey detached house with no basement and the living roof which is covered with vegetation. The house includes two wooden terraces. The entrance terrace is located in front of the main entrance of the house and the second terrace for relaxing has access from the living room with the kitchen unit. This terrace is also the entrance to the garden. The main building material of this house is Ecocon wall paneling which is combination of wooden frame and straw filling. The garage is self-standing and one-storey object with no basement. It's also roofed with the living roof.
Agricultural Complex for PD Šalgovce
Stajne sú navrhnuté pre maximálny počet 172 dojnícThe aim of this thesis is a project documentation of a farm. It is a new building of stable for cow breeding and other buildings necessary for the proper function of the farm. The farm is located in Šalgovce, district of Topoľčany. The project documentation consists of administration building, milking parlor and a stable for cows. All objects are single building objects. . A base - administration building is the brick object with two floors. On the ground floor there is a lodge, a rest area for employees, cheese production area and a farm store. On the second floor there are offices. The milking parlor is the single building object with rooms necessary to secure stable operation. The stable is designed for a maximum of 172 cows.
